Oct 2019 - $45.00
Nice and clean. Friendly and courteous staff! The site we had was adequate, grassy area with a concrete slab and picnic table. It had rained the previous days so the ground was soft and muddy. Roads are narrow and a little tight for a motorhome. Quiet in the evening. - Art_Sheila
Mar 2019 - $52.00
Was OK for a few nights. Most of the place is long term residents. Pool area was nice, looked relatively new. Parking pad was grass with a small concrete pad to setup table & chairs. Stipulated that you not park on the pad as the RV weight would break the pad and you'd be responsible for the repairs. This had happened to the spot where we parked, but the pad had NOT been repaired. - ThorHurricane
Jan 2019 - $1.00
Parked in mud. Had to put boards under wheels to get out. Another class A had same problem. I was 6 inches in with parking. Again boards under wheels to get out. Load of gravel would help immensely. Part of trails collection thousand trails. Lot of permanent residents. - Tampajohn
Nov 2017 - $10.00
Encore Thousand Trails park stayed on "Trails Collection" offer. Mostly permanent sites but the transient sites are good sites with concrete patio, FHU etc. Beautiful pool and hot tub and rec hall. Very friendly residents from all over the USA and Canada. - Todd Fogelberg
Feb 2014 - $17.00
An OK park, however you better like trains and lots of road noise. The trains run drectly behind the park and blow their load whistle several times. Sites are very short and close together. A 38 motorhome takes up the entire site. Hookups for either power or water on the wrong side. There is a charge for water at $20.00 per 1000 gal. They advertise free Wi-Fi. You get what you pay for. While here for 3 months it was out 90% of the time. Strange there is only one shower and two bathrooms for a park this size. Mostly permanent 5th wheels that stay here year round. Many in need of replacement. I enjoy swimming and this place has an excellent huge heated pool as well as a jacuzzi. There are much better parks in the area so I would not stay here again. The rate reflects the daily rate for three months. - philipclalle
Oct 2019 - $30.00
Lazydays was running a special discount promotion, so we decided to check it out by staying over a long weekend. We were very pleased with this park. The service was excellent. Staff was very helpful. There is far more to do here than in most RV parks. Along with a playground, there is a heated pool and hot tub. There is an on-site restaurant open Tuesdays to Saturdays for dinner starting at 3pm. We found the food and prices good. The main Lazydays RV dealership building has the Front Porch Cafe open Mondays to Saturdays for breakfast and lunch. Each camping spot is provided two free breakfast vouchers per day of stay for the Front Porch Cafe. The park also had a Halloween party the weekend we stayed that included several activities and trick-or-treating in the campground for kids. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and plan to return. - AF_Pilot
Oct 2019 - $29.00
We just completed our 4th visit to Lazy Days, Seffner. This was a three night stay: that included one day for a few items that required regular service on our RV. Every aspect of our time at Lazy Days was outstanding. The excellent staff at the Campground ensure that everything is spotless and that "the customer comes first." We will return in the very near future, and highly recommend Lazy Days Seffner. - Bob34429
Oct 2019 - $30.00
Great park and super friendly service. The staff here always makes you feel welcome. Some sites have little to no space to park your car but hark another area if you need it. We were here only four days but enjoyed it. Clean pool area to hang out and relax! - Rv2001
May 2016 - $16.00
This park is for members of any Elks Lodge and guests of the members. The grounds are well-kept and it is quite conveniently located, just 3 blocks north of Highway 60. Upon arrival pick a vacant site, set up, get registration forms from a box near the entrance, fill out and take into the lodge when the bar is open late afternoon and early evening. - Bill Strong
Mar 2019 - $65.00
The park has good spaces. Had changed management, most of the campers that came in were put in wrong spots or had to move. The park has some issues.
No lighting at entrance sign and lights we were told had been out for months; can’t see where to turn in. The park has no gates. People come in park all time; had stuff stolen in the park. There is no drainage when it rains; it is a mud hole water up to your ankles.
The pools are not heated. They close pools at dark - people like to swim late.
No lights inside park most of them don’t work.
The amenities are spread out between three different parks.
They need same amenities at each park. - Headsaid
Mar 2019 - $55.00
Nice park, that they are updating.. No cable at our site Which you think they would have calling the park a resort. Site was grass and was one of the largest. Looks like they are putting in more concrete pads. Streets are narrow but manageable. Lots of I4 noise on our side called the Palms. WiFi slow And signal ok. Lots of longer term people. Would stay again. - DFG391
Nov 2018 - $35.00
I was here back in 2017 and had to come back for a month due to our reservation elsewhere "not panning out". I was hoping for some improvement from our last stay, but did not see any. Water here is TERRIBLE. We still have to change out our water filters every two or three weeks because they get so clogged up and affect the water pressure. The ground is soft and when wet, easy to get stuck in. They are putting in some concrete pads if you want to sign a two year contract to pay them every month. The noise from I-4 gets old real fast. All day and night you can hear the traffic. I know I will never return here again. - KennyGolub
Mar 2019 - $60.00
We have spent 15 winters in this park but are leaving this year. Previous owner raised seasonal rates three years in a row to make improvements but never did. New owners have raised the rates by $1400 per season and although have upgraded the park, we feel it's not worth the asking price. Many other long-timers are not returning to this park as well. Not much in the way of activities, but the residents there are friendly. Located in a depressed area, travel after dark is not recommended. - FGC
Mar 2018 - $28.00
Old park built when RVs were smaller, so sites are barely adequate for larger rigs. Sites are dirt and grass. Ours was level and easy to access. Location is good for access to Temple Terrace, New Tampa, and Brandon, which is what we needed. Electric amperage was marginal (tripped circuit breaker once) and WIFI was fair to poor. Sewer connection was old style with no threads on pipe. Park was pleasantly quiet. - ramblin' vagabonds
Jan 2018 - $43.00
They didn't advertise as 55+, but they really are. They let us stay for the weekend for the RV show. Park is small, yet well kept, plenty of shade. They we're full for the weekend, and we had some issues with power. Temperatures were in the 50s; just planned on using the heat pumps and didn't fill the propane. About 10 pm the surge protector in our rig got low voltage from the pedestal, Second night things went okay until 4am. Would definitely ask about how full the park is especially during summer. - Some guy
Jan 2017 - $36.00
The front desk lady came after hours and helped us into our site and was so sweet. Narrow roads but service was top notch!!! Much needed work going on. Great changes to come - Lo-67
Jan 2017 - $30.00
We stayed there in Feb because it was close to FL state fairgrounds. Office was closed when we arrived. No paperwork was left for us after traveling 9 hours this was disappointing! One of the residents told us where to park til Monday morning! Nasty front desk personnel. Deshelved used profanity. Couldn't find my reservation! We had a conformation #! We would never stay there again! I don't know who is in charge but not worth the stress! - Ginny1974
Mar 2016 - $20.00
Where do I start. Their internet ad is VERY misleading. There is NO Cable available for Short stays. (Management says the local cable company can hook you up for a month AT YOUR COST) , we are only staying for two weeks. Next, WiFi available, WRONG. WiFi is available if you go to their office, but not in you RV. The campgrounds are old with loads of perm park models etch. Spaces for short stays are tight and stuck between two park models. Loads of trees, making sat dish useless. I highly recommend that for short stays, DON'T STAY HERE!!!!! - Capt T
Nov 2017 - $47.00
This is a retirement community with what appeared to be 100s of winter residents and maybe a few dozen sites for campers. The location is several miles off I-75 but easy to get to. There's a clean swimming pool, pool tables, meeting halls and Bingo offered the Thurs. we arrived. Everyone we met was nice and welcoming; our neighbors came by to introduce themselves the day after we set up camp. Even a woman I'd describe as the community's "hospitality lady" came by to explain all the social events there, not realizing we were leaving soon. We used the bathroom/shower facilities next to the pool; they were clean. My only complaint was that the shower head was pointed at and could not be moved away from the shower curtain, so I had to be careful not to let the spray douse the floor of the area where I'd be dressing afterward. This appears to be the set-up at many camp grounds, however. The price of $47/night does not include internet; you can purchase it for $5/night or $10/three nights. At first I was ticked that I had to pay extra, but the internet service was so good that I decided I'd rather pay more for fast service than be lured in at some RV park offering "free internet" only to find out they've purchased the worst service available -- meaning, essentially, no service. I've run into this "misleading advertising" several times the past few years at smaller campgrounds. The price here was on the high side, I thought, but for the quiet, friendliness, pool and cleanliness, I'll stay here the next time we're in the area. - John_K
Jan 2017 - $45.00
Paved roads and cracked and aging cement patio under Spanish moss draped oaks. Nice woodsy setting although some traffic noise from nearby highway. Congenial office staff. Utility connections were convenient and good water pressure. Laundry was clean. Not so pet friendly. - Toltec
Feb 2016 - $28.00
The people are so friendly and activities abound. One word of caution. Don't purchase the "high speed" internet. We did and it didn't work at all. Just go to the club house and use the internet for free. - June Foster
Mar 2018 - $20.00
This is NOT a resort. When making reservation, was not told the pool and work out room were closed due to the storm. Also was NOT told that the site was side-by-side, which means door faces your neighbor. As if that wasn't bad enough, there was very little room between units. My husband could literally stand with arms stretched and touch both 5th wheels. Thank goodness only there one month or we would have probably left early. We were literally at the edge of the parking lot with cars going by constantly, along with some strange activity in this parking lot late at night. Park is an old mobile home park with many old units and narrow roads. Granted, main part of park was closed from the storm but even if that were open we would have had trouble getting there as many trees and narrow roads. Park located at a dead end road through a residential area. Did have a small cement pad that did not line up to unit. Would not go back here. - Robbi
Dec 2017 - $45.00
We made reservations while traveling on the road to visit friends in Tampa. We also needed a place fairly close to Venice, Fl. Part of the advertisement for this place was that is is close to everything. It is. If you will not be staying at your camper much, this place will be o k to park. Other than that, not that great for camping. Camper sites are very tight, and neighbor's sewer was right outside our door. Site was better for motor home than 5th wheel, as we had to deal with a utility pole at the front of our site, which was "pull in, back out". See photos. I thought it a bit pricey for what was offered. - Doxie Mom
Mar 2015 - $50.00
WiFi could be better probably won't come again not much to do. The sites were large with plenty of shade. The park was rustic but very relaxing. the staff was pleasant and helpful - happydaz
May 2019 - $22.00
This is a large RV park with a substantial percentage of long-term residents. The park is clean and nicely landscaped and the staff is polite and very helpful. Our site (#278) was at the extreme back (west) end of the park and, although the sand/gravel base looked a little "bumpy," it actually was perfectly level. Only issues with the park: there are only two buildings with bathrooms and showers, both of which are a L-O-N-G ways from our site, and those facilities (at least the ones at the office) are showing their age and had no hot water when we got home late one night. Normally we're fully self-contained and we wouldn't even have noticed, but on this trip (plumbing problems) it mattered. Nevertheless, we have family in the area and this is a fine place to stay while here. - Kaz
Feb 2019 - $13.00
This was a nice RV park overall. It is a Passport America park (cash required for discount). There are a lot of full-time residents if that is a consideration for you. The spaces are close but comfortable. We had FHU. The sites were sandy, so we had a little trouble getting level. The office staff was nice and there is an adjacent laundry room and restroom at the entrance. Washers & dryers are $1.50 ea. There is a recreation room towards the back of the park with another laundry room. It also has showers and restrooms. These are the showers we used and they were very clean. The game room has a pool table, ping pong, a couple of exercise machines (Gazelles), darts, TV's, books, and puzzles. They do have scheduled activities throughout the week though we weren't able to participate. There is Wifi and we had about 3 bars of 4G with Verizon. No playground, picnic tables or fire rings. Noise level was pretty low though they are right off of Hwy 60. - nomadicfamilylife
Sep 2016 - $25.00
Staff very nice. Liked the extra slab with table. Easy hook ups. Only issue during stay was that it was noisey until 1 am. It was a holiday weekend so that may have been the problem. - Long distances traveler
