Typical "Good Sam" scam!! How can you possibly rate this park a 10???? How about a 3! Tight to navigate, dark at night,no trees or buffer between sites,on top of each other. Totally unsightly! Not worth what they charge!! We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

We only spent one night here while passing, but knew of the park years ago while it was under construction. This is a very nice park with hookups the way they should be built. It is built on the water, albeit a bayou thru wetlands. The sites are gravel with concrete patios and roads. Just a very nice park. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Avalon Landing is a great place to stay for a night or longer. It is quiet, conveniently located to anything you want to do in the Pensacola area, and easy on/off to I-10. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice place! Fishing was fun and right outside the door of our camper. Went out in a rented kayak. Sites aren’t especially big but we were on the end so it wasn’t bad. Overall good time. We will be back! We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Wonderful little park on the water with super friendly staff, nice facilities, and pleasant scenery. We were parked on one of the pull-in, waterfront sites which provided us with a windshield full of beautiful sunrises, and marsh scenes. The sites are more narrow than we normally like, but with the view, we spent more time in front of our coach than along the side under our awning. All the utilities are nicely placed and all worked well. Our site was gravel with a concrete patio and we parked the Jeep behind the coach. The check-in process was pleasant and the office person provided a wealth of information about local attractions, restaurants, and routes around the various toll roads. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to eat a dinner at the local seafood restaurant "The Silver Pearl". You must try the shrimp and grits fritters. All of their fried dishes are crusted with the lightest batter I've had.

Stopped in on our way back to Canada from Florida and were very impressed. Approx 1/2 mile off I10 but traffic noise was not an issue. Relatively easy access off the highway and checkin was easy. Guided to ur site. We had a drive in site facing the bayou/cove and found it a beautiful and relaxing site. Site was crushed rock with a concrete pad and picnic table. Grass in between sites. WiFi was sporadic. Excellent cable. Site facilities worked fine. We very much enjoyed our stay and would have liked to stay longer then our 3 day stay. Close to Pensacola and the beaches. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very pretty older park. It's built around water access and in a pretty setting. I thought t he price was too high. Managers were friendly and helpful with directions. It is conveniently located 1/2 mile off I 10. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great place! We had a pull-in site. We faced their canal and fishing pier. The host was very helpful. He led us to our site, making sure we were satisfied. The place is very clean. The daily price is a bit steep. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had our coach in the shop and let them know we would be in after office hours, so they said they would text us the info and directions to our site. When we got there, someone was in the office, so they opened it up and let us check in, giving us the weekly rate discount, one night free. They then had someone guide us to our site, even though it was after hours. This a nice, clean park just off of I-10, so it is easy to get in and out of. We had a pull-in that faced the canal, so we could look out the windshield and see the pelicans. The park is very clean and just about every day, we saw park personnel out and about doing maintenance. Cable and satellite TV worked well, as did their wi-fi. They do allow you to wash your rig for a $5 fee. We would stay here again. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean, small, quiet campground just off I-10. Long cement patio w/picnic table. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent Wifi & good cable. We were right on the canal so rate was a tad higher than non-water sites but all are in great location. Tow vehicle parking was in front of the rig with plenty of space. We spent a week here but weekly rate (with NO discounts) was about the same as daily rate. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Had a nice waterfront site. Site was a pull in and the utilities were on the correct side for a pull in. Office staff was very pleasant. We used this as a base to go to Pensacola Naval Air Station. Short drive. Asphalt sites were level. We didn't use the laundry room. There were thunderstorms so the pool was closed. Roads were wide. Overall, it was a nice small park.
