Great place! We had a pull-in site. We faced their canal and fishing pier. The host was very helpful. He led us to our site, making sure we were satisfied. The place is very clean. The daily price is a bit steep. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had our coach in the shop and let them know we would be in after office hours, so they said they would text us the info and directions to our site. When we got there, someone was in the office, so they opened it up and let us check in, giving us the weekly rate discount, one night free. They then had someone guide us to our site, even though it was after hours. This a nice, clean park just off of I-10, so it is easy to get in and out of. We had a pull-in that faced the canal, so we could look out the windshield and see the pelicans. The park is very clean and just about every day, we saw park personnel out and about doing maintenance. Cable and satellite TV worked well, as did their wi-fi. They do allow you to wash your rig for a $5 fee. We would stay here again. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean, small, quiet campground just off I-10. Long cement patio w/picnic table. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent Wifi & good cable. We were right on the canal so rate was a tad higher than non-water sites but all are in great location. Tow vehicle parking was in front of the rig with plenty of space. We spent a week here but weekly rate (with NO discounts) was about the same as daily rate. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Restaurants about 5 miles away. We went to Ruby Tuesdays for dinner only stayed one night, not much to do at the park itself, but there is a fishing pond if you're into that.

Had a nice waterfront site. Site was a pull in and the utilities were on the correct side for a pull in. Office staff was very pleasant. We used this as a base to go to Pensacola Naval Air Station. Short drive. Asphalt sites were level. We didn't use the laundry room. There were thunderstorms so the pool was closed. Roads were wide. Overall, it was a nice small park. Sites were flooded due to rain. Strange pull through site could have had someone backed right up to us. We had to park there due to flooded driveway. Wifi and other utilities good. Park quiet. Gravel & concrete site, level. Laundry convenient. No dog pots even though they are particular about cleaning up after dogs. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a very pleasant stay. The sites are spacious and utilities work great. Lots were gravel which you park on with a nice concrete pad. Were very level. We were very happy with this campground. Laundry was only $1.50 and $1.00 for dry. Propane on site was Very Reasonably. They are not out to rip you off. The workers and owner I can't say enough about how friendly they were. Plenty of room to maneuver our 40' 5er. No problem handling big rigs. We plan on staying there again when visiting the area. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great location on little Indian Bayou. We were parked right on the water and there is a walking bridge that connects both sides of the park. The staff here is excellent and very friendly. They have canoes and kayaks for rent to take out on the bayou($5 for 3 hours) and will lend you fishing poles if needed. Restrooms and Showers are very clean. The only reason we didn't give them a 10 on the review is due to price. $47/night with Good Sam is a little on the pricey side for us, but you do get what you pay for and they have a very nice park. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

We needed to stop for the night after 11 hours of driving in route to our destination. We travel with 5 small dogs, who are well behaved, and also had our 2 year old grandson with us. Another "pet friendly" park, we had stayed at in the past, turned us away b/c they had changed their pet policy. We didn't know what to do so, and was exhausted. I called Avalon, expecting them to also deny us. Instead the lady I spoke with in the office was very pleasant and welcoming. Since we'd arrive after office hours she gave me our site number. The park is close to the I-10 exit, which was very convenient. We stayed the night and the park was quiet and appeared well maintained. I would stay there again without a doubt. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
