Very nice KOA Park. Located just off I-10. Staff very helpful and do what ever they can to make you feel at home. Very nice pool and have a put put golf course. Sites are level with a fire ring and picnic table. All hook ups work great and are located in a good spot. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA is very handy off I-10 in the west Florida panhandle. Sites are level but sometimes have trees in the way of awnings. The park is nicely maintained and has a very nice pool. Staff is helpful and keeps someone on duty to assist late arrivals. We have stayed here 10-12 times in the past 7 years as it is handy to visit family. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a gas station/convenience store and Waffle House across the road. Milton is 5 miles away and has numerous restaurants and stores. WalMart and Lowe's are in Pace, to the west of Milton. The Navarre Beach area is 20 miles away to the south.

We stayed in a fifth wheel. The park was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. The campground had a nice pool, a putt-putt golf course and areas to walk your dog. The wi-fi was excellent and with the cable, you had over 100 stations. I very much enjoyed my experience there. Nice level roads to bike around the park. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Pensacola Beach and Navarre Beach are nearby and worth the visit. Pensacola Beach has a designated area to take your dog to the beach. The nearby town of Milton has a fantastic tribute to veterans in their downtown park near the river walk. Worth seeing!

Typical nice KOA with all the amenities. Very convenient to I-10 coming in but have to do a u-turn in highway or business to get out back on I-10. Roads are paved. Sites are level gravel/grass and very spacious and especially long. There are a few trees in the pull thru area but had no problems accessing satellite. There is a picnic table on a concrete pad at each site. This KOA does not pick up your trash. Staff was very friendly and take you to your site. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a typical KOA. The sites are all pull-throughs and are very long and level. Cable and wifi worked well. Our site had a big tree opposite the electric/water hookups that made maneuvering a bit tight. As noted by other reviewers, the park is next to I-10, but we didn't notice a lot of highway noise. As also noted by other reviewers, the 4-lane highway by the entrance has a divider that cuts off a left-hand turn for a return to the interstate. You have to turn right and go to the intersection by a Waffle House, where you can either make a U-turn in the middle of the road (which could be tricky with a long rig), or you can pull behind the Waffle House where there is a truck fueling area with a large enough area to turn around in (which is what we did and what I would recommend). The park was clean and the staff helpful. The price is about what you will find at any KOA. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We Thought this was expensive Park. The sites are grass and sand the interior roads are paved. It is ok maneuvering around the park. There seems to be mostly seasonal campers. They have a recreation area and a play ground with miniature golf. The staff is friendly and helpful. One issues is exiting to go on I-10 not easy as you can not cross traffic and have to go left and find another entrance or do a u turn. There alternatives are not hard to navigate it just takes time. Not sure we would return. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Typical KOA facility. Expensive but we are paying for convenience. We could not book another campground in the area during the weekend. Easy access off I-10 into the park but leaving you need to make a left turn but there is a divide in the four lane. You must make a right and turn around. This could be a difficulty for big rigs. The park is adjacent to I-10 and a constant road noise at all hours. We got used to it. The park is very clean, well maintained and well managed. The staff were super friendly. We did not use the free internet but the digital cable TV was great. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Milton, FL - November 2018 - Milton KOA - $56.44/night with discount in a pull through site with full hookups. This was just an overnight stop, but the park is nice and is very conveniently located just off of I-10. The park staff was very nice and helpful. We only hooked up electricity and hung out in our RV. We would definitely stay again when we are passing through. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

Perfect for a stop over. It's not far from the interstate. I will say someone put a lot of effort to help late comers without a reservation find a site. They have a box with several options and a detailed map to get you to your site safely. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

This is an ok place for a night. It’s right off the Interstate so expect a lot of highway noise. We stay at a lot of KOAs and we’re surprised this is considered a holiday. There isn’t anything necessarily wrong with the place (other than the ridiculous night rate), but there isn’t anything that would bring us back. Sites were long and level but with the placement of the pedestal, sewer connection, raised concrete slab and palm trees it made positioning our 5th wheel a pain when you leave the park you have to either do a u-turn on a busy road or turn right into a gas station parking lot to make the turn to get back on the interstate. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The front desk personnel were pleasant, professional and eager to accommodate requests. Our escort was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The park is very conveniently located off the highway. All of the sites need some serious attention. Many if not most are dirt/grass. The gravel sites are in desperate need of at lease another 6 to 8 inches of gravel or raised in some manner. When it rains, the sites hold water. The sites are very over priced considering their condition. $62.72 with tax. They don't accept any typical discounts such as AARP or Good Sams. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

Typical KOA. We have stayed here many times as is very convenient to I-10 and good for over night stays but is not a destination park(long drive to beaches). Roads are asphalt but sites are level grass/rock with picnic table on a concrete pad. Sites are long pull thoughs and reasonable spacious. Most of park is open with no trees so were able to get satellite. Some of the permanent RV'ers sites were not very attractive. WiFi was OK. Exiting park to get back on I-10 is not very convenient. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

Just stayed here for a quick overnight stay. Sights are long, level, grassy but well drained. Park is full and we were fortunate to reserve one of the last two spots. Excellent camp store. The night we arrived they were having a community dinner and they have a continental breakfast daily. Pool was open. Very interesting that they have an inflatable surround for the pool. It resembled an inflatable Quonset hut. Plenty of trees, plenty of room. VERY close to interstate 10. Even three rows in and with a very well insulated RV the road noise was...well...noisy. Hence, my overall rating of 7. Note that you are 20-30 miles away from those sugar-sand beaches. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Hurricane Irma evacuation. Easy to access in from I-10; more difficult to get back on to I-10. Pull through sites are easy to enter and exit. A really pleasant place to stay. All necessary amenities are easily accessible in nearby Milton; Piggly Wiggly located just across the road from park entrance. Outstanding staff, great store. Very clean and modern restrooms and showers. Continental breakfast provided. Pet friendly with 2 dog limit (waived for Irma evacuees). We would stay here whenever we visit this area. Very enjoyable stay. Great place, great staff. We camped at Milton / Gulf Pines KOA in a Travel Trailer.
