Did not use the bath house. This is review just based on overnight stay. Large pull through and easy access. Very friendly owner/manager. If you're just needing a place to relax, this is a good one close to town which is what we needed for overnight. Shady in some spots, ours # 58 handled 42 MH with toad and no unhooking required. Neighbors gave nice wave hello. Like most of FL, lots of full timers. Spot 59 would be my choice for the shade in the afternoon sun. - Lifestylers

Pull through site for 14 days. Small bathrooms, 1 shower each men and women. Many long term tenets all are nice. - Soup

Nice lake, most sites around it are seasonal/full timers. The other sites are strange - some very narrow, some really wide? We had an "elite" site... no clue why, it was 3 rows back of lake, very narrow with a falling apart picnic table. The place just looked trashy to me because it appeared the grass hadn't been cut or taken care of at most/all spots. Grass was growing up through all the gravel spots - just no "curb appeal" for the price. They have you sign a no fault paper before getting to your spot? Long list of banned dogs including Great Dane? Couldn't find the dog walk area... so had to walk dog along road area. I would NOT spend the money to stay here again. - Dixies Mom
Aug 2019 - $60.00
Spent four nights using the Monday-Thursday 25% Discount off the $79 price. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. We were escorted to our site which was lake front. We brought our fishing gear and kayak which we were able to use. Fished extensively but did not catch any fish. The water is clear, the shore area has heavy under-water grass coverage and there are lots of turtles. You can also swim anywhere in the lake if you have a tube or raft. The lake has a special area with water slides and play area. The cost was $5 per day. The swimming areas were free. The roads in our area were in poor condition. Lots of pot holes that filled with water when it rained. The other side of the lake appeared to have mostly monthly renters. It looked like a fun, family-centered group of RV'rs. - Traveller101

Pull thru, Big Rig friendly, Full hook up. Gravel site, with dirt and grass. We are 44 and tow a car. We were escorted to our site. Unfortunately, there was a sign post that resulted in us having to unhitch the car to make the turn into our site. But, the location of the utilities on the site ment if we kept car on, it would have blocked the roadway. Easy on and off 295. There was a lake, a pool, and a snack bar we didnt use. Appeared to be many annual/ seasonal people there, but everything was orderly. Over priced for what we used. - JCMOHO

12 mb/s wifi but you are right under AT&T and Verizon (and maybe others) cell service so your cell signal strength is full strength.. - Rick Rowland
Jun 2019 - $40.00
Very nice little campground. The folks are very personable and helpful. Seems well run. Lot's of shady site, no traffic noise. There is a railroad somewhere near by, but not loud enough to be bothersome. The sites are grassy/well-packed sand. Clean showers and baths, and small laundry room available. - LarryA

If you are Northbound on US 301 you want to take the 1st cut-thru in the median before you pass the place. This cut-thru goes into another business, but there is a frontage type road that will take you to the main entrance road. Finding these cut-thrus in the dark is extremely difficult. If you pass that cut-thru you may have to make a VERY tight u-turn.
Trains running behind the property were far enough away as to not be bothersome at night, but noticeable. - Cdr Bob

Make to sure to arrive with enough propane, the co. that fills our tank last year will not come to the park....we are out, and will have to have to go to a propane station 5 miles away.... - Dc2x4drvr

Very clean and quiet. Nice layout. Leveled sites. Friendly crew. Easy on and off I95. If you don't mind flying planes over your head this RV park is great. - MarkAndAnia
Aug 2019 - $60.00
We used a promo code thru Sun RV Resorts so the value was great BUT we were parked in the very back of the park.... a very long walk to the amenities. We had to drive the truck to the pool, fire pit etc. The front of the park is kept available for "transient" campers which is what we were. Unhappy with the service of the office customer service manager. Park is very clean and well landscaped. Maintenance man was very friendly and helpful. Lots of construction for expansion, but it did not interfere. - Robin Gonthier

My wife and I were looking for a close-by campsite to try out our new fifth wheel. There are only six sites in the park and there is a generous amount of space between most of the campsites. All the sites are level, have concrete patios, fire pits, and grills. All sites have 50 amp service and water. There is no cable and no wifi, but that was fine by us as we were trying to get away from most of that. There is a dump station at the facility. The park was very clean. The bathrooms and showers are a good hike from the campsites, so we didn't use them. Other than some hiking trails, there are no recreational amenities. The "forest" is slash pine which are very slender and don't really give a lot of shade. We enjoyed our stay as it gave us the time we needed to familiarize ourselves with the features of our RV and enjoying some alone time. - Bib817
Oct 2018 - $25.00
I’m hesitant to write this review because I don’t want people to come here—we want this to ourselves. This is a small (7 sites) USDA campground. We have 50 amp and water—no sewer. Very quiet, very peaceful and very well maintained. This is NOT a site for someone who wants all the amenities, but it is a site for those who want quiet and beauty. There are trails in the forest area, and there are bike lanes on the highway by the park and a bike trail about 7 miles from the park. It is about 30 minutes to Jacksonville if you need a city, and a bit more to the coast. There is a campground host and park rangers. At night it is quiet (with the exception of trains on occasion) and dark—no artificial lighting. - SandmannRV
Sep 2018 - $21.00
Very spacious site on largest cement pad ever! There was a fire ring with benches plus a picnic table. There are only 6 sites set a good distance apart, so this park offers plenty of privacy. Only after you pass the turn off to sites do you see a sign directing you to park on your site if you have a reservation. Sign should come sooner. - Lane Wise

The photos online are not of this park they are from a KOA park. This place has nothing but dirt lots no concrete, very dirty and unkept, is not handicap accessible, there are thieves out there and your items will go missing. Water is unsafe to drink sediment rate is 6 while a 7 is undrinkable. When you hook up to the septic you will have bugs come in through your toilet along w sewer odors! The park manager is rude along w his girlfriend. Run Away Don't stay Here!!! - RVer_4_Life

I stayed at Bow and Arrow for 31/2 years. The manager and his assistant worked daily keeping the grounds neat and clean. The pool was regularly maintained. The camp was quiet. Many of the residents were long term, and most were very nice. The campground borders Hwy 17 which is busy, but it has a rustic, secluded atmosphere. I enjoyed my stay and would return if I move back to the Yulee area. - jayshutt

Got to the park at 12:30. Office closes at 12:00. Called the number on the door. I was told to pick site 1-4. Electric pedestal was rusted out. Cable TV line came out of the ground. Campground was unkempt, worn out looking. It was right next to a motorcycle tire yard. Made a u-turn and found another campground. - Steve Morris

We had two nights of vacation left and really wanted to visit St. Mary's historic district before heading north. This campground showed on our map as just off i95 which we considered perfect. As mentioned in most of the reviews, this is an older park with a large population of residents and many older homes. Sites are extremely small, but without a slide this wasn't a problem. Water pressure, WiFi and TV were good. Site was level and hard. What I really liked were 1. Friendly staff and 2. Friendly neighbors. Everyone at least offered a greeting and one fellow stopped by each night and visited for some time. We didn't have time to take advantage of the hiking trails or lake. The only real downside was the traffic noise. i95 is really close and the traffic doesn't let up during the night. - Mark Ramsden
Mar 2016 - $44.00
Mostly permanent residents with lots of clutter around the units. Cracked concrete pads. Very narrow sites, some not conducive to multiple slides. Clean but very old bathrooms. Game room dumpy. Staff friendly, clean laundry, and close to interstate for those just traveling through the area. Great Internet, able to stream without a problem. - dkTennessee
Aug 2015 - $30.00
Had to stay two nights but will never stay again. Directions were useless. Billboard hadn't been changed to reflect the new name, nobody working in office and cell phones apparently not in use because we tried several times to call and had zero luck. Place was packed with seasonal campers and very close quarters. I asked my wife to pass the pepper and the guy next door brought it over. - Mr. Camper

If you want to visit the area of Fernandina Beach, then this is the most convenient place to stay. Fort Clinch is closer, but it is very difficult to find a spot there during the summer months and at times you are overrun with Mosquitos. The spots that are held open for transient guest are fairly large and lever and it does adjoin Lofton Creek that has a boat ramp and dock area. Other then that the campsite has no other amenities to offer. I think the manager attempts to keep the bath and shower area clean but it is old and difficult especially with the permanent residents continually dragging in mud and dirt. Notwithstanding, until there is a better alternative, this is the best place to stay if you want to visit the Fernandina Beach area. - laringrp

The wifi, pool and mini golf were great, but thats where it ended. The cable tv was off. This park could be really good with a lot of TLC. The sites were not level at all. The bugs were terrible. The workers raced around in there golf carts, nobody knows anything when you ask for assistance. We will not go back to this park. - nuttman

Large park but well organized and clean. Gravel roads and sites, level and easy to get around. Good WiFi. Easy Interstate access. Would stay again. - RCM11

If my site had been level I would have given the park a 10 rating. Very friendly and helpful staff, lots of amenities: long office hours, an escort to your site even after the office has closed, free breakfast on weekends, great pool, mini golf, two laundry rooms, lunch and dinner delivery to your campsite from little cafe and fantastic wi-fi that allows you even to stream. - Scldg

We wanted to stay at NAS JAX but they were full. They advised we try the Equestrian Center and we called. THAT is the difficult part. It was hard to reach the right person and then, I was told to fill out the form on their web site and submit. On the form, you not only request a site, but also provide your credit card info. They then contact you by email to let you know about availability. This is a center for horse shows and other events, so they may be full. We were lucky. However, I never received confirmation and called a number of times before finally reaching the RV coordinator (who has many other tasks.) I was told security would have my info at the gate and give me a pass. Security did have a card for the RV but no idea what site. I then had to find someone to come and turn on the electric for whatever site I picked. ALL the staff were polite and helpful; they just are not used to campers coming to stay who are not associated with the events at the center. The sites are large, gravel/grass, fairly level, and well laid out. There were a number of other rigs, all associated with the horse event for that weekend and by Monday AM, we were the only RV in our area. There is a large community indoor heated pool on site and cost is under $2 per person to use the facilities. It was NOT scenic and there are no other amenities available, but since we were visiting family, we did not spend a lot of time there. Biggest problem may be making contact and making payment if you are just traveling through. However, if you are planning to be in the area, consider making reservations in advance and chatting with Candice (RV coordinator) ahead of time to get your site and be assured of a place. - Too-wow
