We spent a wonderful week here and should have stayed longer! Great RV Park, office staff are friendly and helpful. We had site 71 right at the end of the row, next to pier and above the beach with it's own little patio. It over looked the beach and the Sound. Fenced in dog park and they had their own beach. Just be careful, the entranced into the water is narrow and it has concrete chunks. It needs to opened up more for dog safety. On the down side I rated cleanliness as satisfactory. The garbage in the ladies room was only emptied once during the week we stayed. We've stayed in less expensive parks and garbage was emptied every day. With what they charge I would expect daily garbage removal. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. Very clean, a nice pool, and they have a little beach at the sound. Minutes away from the gulf if you prefer that over the sound. They also have a hose set up so if you want to wash your RV. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Go shopping at Camping World, go across the bridge to the gulf, lots of nice beach and lots of parking. Take the road west to Pensacola along the gulf. A very nice drive.

Absolutely love this park. It was our second visit and it definitely will not be our last. Hs its own small private beach and the fact that you can see the water from some point on most of the sites makes it great and the staff are lovely and friendly. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Emerald Beach RV Parks is a very clean and comfortable RV Park. My wife and I have previously stayed at Emerald Beach. The RV sites are concrete and level, however they are a bit close. There are a lot of things to do in the area. The waterfront view is beautiful especially in the morning and evening. The WiFi was not good at all. It would work for a few minutes and then would require the user to login again. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ended up with an extended stay due to a medical emergency. They were able to accommodate due to having an emergency site, very understanding and support, as were numerous campers who heard about our problems. Felt like we were part of a community of people who really cared. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Johnny Hustons is a must! Great local place up the road. Shrimp Basket is just across the street and is a great place also. Navarre Beach across the bridge is amazing and if you drive down the island you will discover the National Gulf Seashore which is even better!

The reviews here are accurate so I will just add a few observations. We stayed in a beachfront site, and the deck at the back adds a lot of space. Our site (66) had a very tall tiki hut in front that was a little distracting so I would recommend a different site. The Premium Beach sites have no one on your patio side, which is nice, but we were always on our deck so these sites would have no advantage for us. This is a quiet stretch of the Panhandle, if you want action you will have to go to Destin or Pensacola Beach. They have some activities here, you have to watch the whiteboard at the entrance because they don't post them all on their website. They had free coffee and donuts, an ice cream social and a potluck breakfast. We missed the breakfast because we found out about it too late. You are allowed to wash your rig, they will bring you an extra long hose so you can use well water instead of the water supply at your site. We enjoyed Dewey Destin's very much. The food was great, and they are on a private beach so they allowed our dogs to play out there. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a private campground, near the Navarre Beach Bridge. It is centrally located to a lot of things to do within a 20-minute drive, such as: minutes to one of the best beaches in Florida (Navarre Beach); A variety of restaurants, bars, etc.; Gulf Breeze Zoo; the Butterfly House (Spring through Fall); a Lighthouse; museums; etc. A lot to do and enjoy! The campground itself is nice. A little tighter than I prefer, but not uncomfortably so. The sites are paved and fairly level. They have patios with a picnic table on each. They are all Full-Hook-Up with cable included. There are even some sites backing up to the small onsite beach. The park has a heated pool, as well as occasional activities at the clubhouse. They also sell propane, if you need it. Although located on US-98, the traffic noise is not bothersome. If you stay near the water, you rarely hear any of it. The staff is wonderful, very nice, and extremely helpful. If you let them know of any problem with your site or in the park, it is usually taken care of within minutes. Really. Most of the guests here are friendly and like to talk. This has become our normal home-base, when we visit the area a few times a year. This is one of the best parks in the whole area! We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

When exiting the park, you must turn right (east). If you are trying to go west, simply immediately get in the left turn lane and either make a u-turn on US-98 (plenty of room for my fifth wheel) or you can take that road (Elks Rd) about a block and have a very large traffic circle to turn around in.

Overall Rating:

We stayed five nights in a 40 foot fifth wheel. Ours was a 60 foot site that was quite close to other campers. The back-in sites appear to be a bit shorter and all are quite close. The site did have an adjacent parking pad for tow vehicle or toad. They have several beachside lots that backup to the beach and the protected waterway inside of the barrier islands. These waterfront sites have a small private patio overlooking the beach. The park is right off the main drag but the road noise was not a problem here in the middle of the park. The front-office staff were pleasant and accommodate a date change and offered a few other sites if we wanted to switch. They seem to have a variety of activities for the snow birds several times each week. There are no sidewalks along the road. There is one restaurant in walking distance and a walk-in clinic right across the street. You can walk the beach but not very far before you hit obstacles. They have canoe and kayak rentals or bring your own. They have a really nice fishing pier on which they say you do not need a license to fish. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly staff greeted us when we arrived, the sites are all very nice and clean. Sites 1-13 are all shorter sites, we ended up in site 5 because we had to change our dates, it worked OK for our 32' fifth wheel, but we had to park our truck sideways in front of it and the truck then was a little bit in the next site. I suggest adding the length of my vehicle and RV together to let them know how long your space needs to be. All the sites except 1-13 seemed long enough for a long camper/truck combo. There is a Walmart near by and plenty of places to eat. This is more of a quiet campground and is great for families if you don't want your children exposed to a bunch of beach party bums. The pool was clean and very nice, I also used their on site laundry room which was nice as well. I loved the fact that we could walk down to the onsite beach and site on the deck and relax. This campground is only about 1 mile from Navarre Beach. We will be going back to this campground soon! We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here from 20 to 24 May left prior to Tropical Storm Alberto blowing through. Very Clean and well kept, quite even though there were a lot of children and pets there. Staff very friendly and informative. Pool and facilities in very good shape and well maintained. Parking was tight and spaces a little close together but not an issue. Our sight was a pull through with just enough room for the trailer. Two palm trees provided shade but were just close enough we could not extend our awnings all the way. We will stay here on our next trip down. Th only negative is that highway 98 has turned into the Navarre raceway. Use extreme caution trying to get out. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
