We spent a wonderful week here and should have stayed longer! Great RV Park, office staff are friendly and helpful. We had site 71 right at the end of the row, next to pier and above the beach with it's own little patio. It over looked the beach and the Sound. Fenced in dog park and they had their own beach. Just be careful, the entranced into the water is narrow and it has concrete chunks. It needs to opened up more for dog safety. On the down side I rated cleanliness as satisfactory. The garbage in the ladies room was only emptied once during the week we stayed. We've stayed in less expensive parks and garbage was emptied every day. With what they charge I would expect daily garbage removal. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Absolutely love this park. It was our second visit and it definitely will not be our last. Hs its own small private beach and the fact that you can see the water from some point on most of the sites makes it great and the staff are lovely and friendly. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: December, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This is a private campground, near the Navarre Beach Bridge. It is centrally located to a lot of things to do within a 20-minute drive, such as: minutes to one of the best beaches in Florida (Navarre Beach); A variety of restaurants, bars, etc.; Gulf Breeze Zoo; the Butterfly House (Spring through Fall); a Lighthouse; museums; etc. A lot to do and enjoy! The campground itself is nice. A little tighter than I prefer, but not uncomfortably so. The sites are paved and fairly level. They have patios with a picnic table on each. They are all Full-Hook-Up with cable included. There are even some sites backing up to the small onsite beach. The park has a heated pool, as well as occasional activities at the clubhouse. They also sell propane, if you need it. Although located on US-98, the traffic noise is not bothersome. If you stay near the water, you rarely hear any of it. The staff is wonderful, very nice, and extremely helpful. If you let them know of any problem with your site or in the park, it is usually taken care of within minutes. Really. Most of the guests here are friendly and like to talk. This has become our normal home-base, when we visit the area a few times a year. This is one of the best parks in the whole area! We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

When exiting the park, you must turn right (east). If you are trying to go west, simply immediately get in the left turn lane and either make a u-turn on US-98 (plenty of room for my fifth wheel) or you can take that road (Elks Rd) about a block and have a very large traffic circle to turn around in.

Overall Rating:

We stayed five nights in a 40 foot fifth wheel. Ours was a 60 foot site that was quite close to other campers. The back-in sites appear to be a bit shorter and all are quite close. The site did have an adjacent parking pad for tow vehicle or toad. They have several beachside lots that backup to the beach and the protected waterway inside of the barrier islands. These waterfront sites have a small private patio overlooking the beach. The park is right off the main drag but the road noise was not a problem here in the middle of the park. The front-office staff were pleasant and accommodate a date change and offered a few other sites if we wanted to switch. They seem to have a variety of activities for the snow birds several times each week. There are no sidewalks along the road. There is one restaurant in walking distance and a walk-in clinic right across the street. You can walk the beach but not very far before you hit obstacles. They have canoe and kayak rentals or bring your own. They have a really nice fishing pier on which they say you do not need a license to fish. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff greeted us when we arrived, the sites are all very nice and clean. Sites 1-13 are all shorter sites, we ended up in site 5 because we had to change our dates, it worked OK for our 32' fifth wheel, but we had to park our truck sideways in front of it and the truck then was a little bit in the next site. I suggest adding the length of my vehicle and RV together to let them know how long your space needs to be. All the sites except 1-13 seemed long enough for a long camper/truck combo. There is a Walmart near by and plenty of places to eat. This is more of a quiet campground and is great for families if you don't want your children exposed to a bunch of beach party bums. The pool was clean and very nice, I also used their on site laundry room which was nice as well. I loved the fact that we could walk down to the onsite beach and site on the deck and relax. This campground is only about 1 mile from Navarre Beach. We will be going back to this campground soon! We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here from 20 to 24 May left prior to Tropical Storm Alberto blowing through. Very Clean and well kept, quite even though there were a lot of children and pets there. Staff very friendly and informative. Pool and facilities in very good shape and well maintained. Parking was tight and spaces a little close together but not an issue. Our sight was a pull through with just enough room for the trailer. Two palm trees provided shade but were just close enough we could not extend our awnings all the way. We will stay here on our next trip down. Th only negative is that highway 98 has turned into the Navarre raceway. Use extreme caution trying to get out. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Our second time here. Extremely helpful staff, friendly people in park. Decent wifi, great cable. Park clean. Spaces close together. Concrete sites, all level. No left turn out of park, so going west you have to make a U-turn. We reserved a premium end site but were told on checking in that we couldn't park our tow vehicle on site. Wish we were told that on making reservation, as it was not convenient. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautifully kept campground. Concrete pads and patios, with some trees for shade. Located right on a small but very well kept private beach. Ample outside seating for guests in gazebos on the water. Long pier with seating at end to relax or fish. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Quiet park. Friendly staff; very accommodating Pleasant neighbors. Great dog park! Decent rate. Not the easiest place to get in and out of. Close to Publix, Winn Dixie, and Walmart. Try the burgers across the highway. Will definitely go back. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Emerald Beach RV Park. Our site was large enough for our 41 ft. toy hauler with a side area to park our truck. It was shady and pleasant. The beach is located right at the end of the row of RV spaces which made it easy to walk down to sit under one of the covered benches right on the ocean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We hope to return again next year. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are many eating places right near the park to choose from, and it is close to Pensacola and Destin. We went to the naval base at Pensacola to watch the Blue Angels practice maneuvers which is well worth the trip. We also went to Destin and parasailed with one of the local companies there - what a blast! We will definitely do that again!

Expected more for what we paid. Staff are friendly. Was convenient and easy pull throughs. Wouldve given higher rate but their check out was 11 versus most parks which are 12. Space was tight, if I had to back my 40' 5th wheel in don't think I could've made it. No beach here either. Couldn't park my truck behind my rig, had to squish in beside.
