Aug 2018 - $16.00
I've been here since Aug 2018 and am staying through the winter. Since the park was purchased by Encore, the monthly rates have been increased by $200 every year (told to me by several neighbors). The rule enforcement seems to be erratic. I was told nobody could have large breed dogs, and certainly not breeds that are aggressive (mine are neither). Since they haven't been 100% full this winter, they seem to have ignored that policy, as both are in the park now, sometimes making it stressful and dangerous to walk down certain streets with my small dogs. They only allow 1 vehicle per lot, but there are many lots here that have multiple cars (full-timers, mostly). No refrigerators outside your RV... but there are several sites that do... one even has a full-size residential fridge on their patio. I believe the management goes easy on the full-timers or snowbirds, because they don't want to lose the money. There are currently 5 park-models that are for sale on one street alone... after years of $200/month increases, it's getting too expensive. They DO have many social activities - cards, bingo, movie night, pot luck dinners, etc. They have 2 separate inexpensive laundry facilities and a nice pool. The people that are here for the season are generally very friendly and easy to talk to/socialize with. It's very convenient to I-95 and next to a Lowes, 7-11, and a Ruby Tuesday's. - chrix321

Part (older?) section-narrow Street with trees Other area more open which would have worked better for our 40footer However we had to squeeze between trees Did not use any amenities Office staff friendly and helpful. - Tazcrickoss
Jan 2018 - $30.00
Very tight spots. No Verizon signal, no cable, and trees blocking satellite. The dog walking area was postage stamp size, and because of the sites being so tight another camper was parking his car there. Because the sites were so short, we had to park sideways in front of our trailer. Our neighbor decided to put a metal rack our by the road in front of our truck. When we pulled out it was in our blindspot, so the outside dual caught it and flipped it into the fender. To many bad experiences for us here. - Wraber

Oct 2018 - $22.00
We have stayed here before and not had any issues. This time is different. Not only does it appear there is a "new sheriff in town" but there are numerous sites that are not available due to some work being done in the area just to the west of the park. As near as I could tell, the construction was supposed to be done at the end of September and in typical construction fashion it is not finished. Numerous times the office was not available and neither were the hosts. I don't recall seeing the camp hosts ever being "on" duty. They were a little overly enthusiastic to enforce rules and not have any leniency considering the sites were shorten. Our truck stuck out in the road a little and they were quick to make us move it. Quick to tell someone backing into a site that he needed a person guiding him. What if the passenger was handicapped and couldn't get out? Lighten up! - DavidnKeithAnn
Aug 2018 - $22.00
Nice military campground. We were in a 42' RV, and while the roads were a little tight, overall, the roads were good. Roads and camping pads were recently updated. Pads are level (some are gravel, some are concrete). Utilities were excellent (power was always "clean" and proper - good water- and convenient sewer hook-ups). This is a "First Come - First Serve" campground, so it is a little annoying that you cannot call and have them tell a spot is available, even when you are an hour away. Other than the lack of reservation policy, the campground is located on the Banana River, and next to the Airfield. The Base itself is small, but nice. The campground had a dog run, which was nice. The Campground also had a small store and an air-conditioned lounge. The lounge was open 24/7. Right now, half of the lots are off line for construction. Should be completed by the winter rush. Only comment was that the monthly rate of $595 was not much better than the daily rate of $22/day. This is a little expensive for a military campground, but overall, a nice place. We will be back. We enjoyed our stay, and everyone was friendly and nice. It was a little challenging getting into the gate with an RV. Make sure you understand the process, and don't just show up at any of the gates (95% will not fit in the main gates). The campground is about a 10 minute drive to any gate, so getting on or off the base was always a little further. - Nick86
Jun 2018 - $22.00
Very nice RV Park located on the Banana River, and not far from the Atlantic Ocean on Patrick Air Force Base. Military access required (includes retired military). They have had some hurricane damage but, are working diligently to make repairs. They have many pull-thru sites and back-ins. There was a nice breeze off the Banana River. We saw lots of aquatic wildlife. We watched the SpaceX rocket launch from the base and it was a perfect view of the rocket launch at Cape Canaveral. The Atlantic Beach access is just outside the main gate. We will make this a regular stop during our travels in Florida. - TXRoadWarrior

Dec 2013 - $17.00
We stayed at this park for 35 days in Dec 2013. The site itself wasn't level so that was the only part that wasn't good. People were friendly, helpful, quiet. Close to shopping and beaches. The only negative was its right by a railroad track that runs about 6 times a day. We got used to it after a while, so didn't bother us too much; no whistles, so that was even nicer. Restrooms were very clean. Huge clubhouse that we used to do our internet; couldn't get it from our site. Our Direct TV satellite worked great. All-in-all we liked it here and you can't beat the price (monthly). We have a 36' RV class A. - kemosabe
May 2012 - $39.00
This is a combination 55+ Mobile Home Community and RV Park. I stayed here for 9 months at $416 per month signing a 6 mo lease. This is a nice and economical place to "winter over" in Melbourne, FL and close to most everything including some nice parks along the Indian River, shopping, restaurants, etc. The management is great, and the permanent mobile home residents/owners are very friendly and hospitable to the campers. Electricity and Cable are extra, but water and sewer is furnished. Nice club house with regular activities. I would definitely stay here again long term in Brevard County, FL - Colorado Vagabond

Sep 2019 - $21.00
Stayed here for 2 nights on our way south in Florida . Had read some negative reviews regarding the homeless population, but the park has been cleaned up and security is visible . The gates are locked at night, except for one, and you must have your pass to get in. This was a very quiet park and has a lot of activities available. The lots are large and mostly sunny. There was no one next to us on one side, but site 38 was very close to our patio area. We were very impressed with this county park. - Charlie-Pattie
Aug 2019 - $22.00
I have stayed there on numerous times and years ago there were a few problems. I am returning on Nov 1 2019 for another extended stay. I feel that it is one of the best parks in Florida. The staff is excellent and will help you any way they can. I highly recommend this park. - Norman Hayden
Apr 2019 - $23.00
We spent 3 weeks at this local park while transitioning from our house into becoming full-time RV'ers. Site sizes vary wildly, but Loop B sites are huge. All grass and you may orient your rig as you see fit, which was nice. Very quiet at night and there is much to do in the park itself, including a very active Frisbee Golf scene. Convenient to local restaurants as well as the Space Center and the ocean. We will return. - Jeporter99

May 2017 - $31.00
New owner here since we last stayed 3 years ago. Not much has changed in the park. Still quite a few very old single wide mobile homes are here. FHU 50amp site was fine, getting a 40' rig in and out can be a challenge. Sewer did back up on me when it was time to dump. Park is adding WIFI throughout the park rather than just at the office. Wish they would answer the phone when you call in. You will always get voice mail and wait for a return call. Office is only open from 9-2 weekdays and never on weekends. - Bob & Stephanie
Apr 2015 - $30.00
We made reservations in advance stating we had a 40' coach. After 5pm on Friday, there is nobody available from the office until Monday. The emergency phone # didn't work. We arrived and had trouble getting the coach THRU the park--cars were parked on both sides of the drive. There was one spot available and it had been "assigned" to us (all others were filled with old mobile homes and trailers in disrepair--didn't even feel comfortable going in). The one spot would NEVER accomodate a big rig either length or height. Plus there was a bush in front of the pad so we never would have even been able to get IN to the spot. DO NOT stay at this park--they are misleading, unavailable, and unless you have a very small camper, spots are unaccessible. - lvescape
Mar 2013 - $21.00
Very old, dated park with many very old, single-wide mobile homes in various states of disrepair. Park is convenient to the beach and shopping of all kinds as well as restaurants. Wi-Fi is only available as a hotspot at the office. There are no showers or rest rooms and the laundry has cold water only. This park is a fairly good value but could use some serious updating. Pool is nice and kept up well. Rates are increasing as of 4/1/13. - Bob & Stephanie

Jun 2017 - $45.00
First the pros: very nice dock on the Banana River for fishing or sitting; location is convenient to restaurants, Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral; friendly and accommodating hosts; nice laundry at $1.75 each for use. Cons: most of the sites are occupied by long-term/permanent rv's; dirt road that is occasionally grated but has a lot of pot holes; park is older, not really kept up well and looks old. In our opinion, very over-priced and you are paying for the location. Would not stay here again. - Golfgirl
Mar 2015 - $27.00
Very peaceful, small campground but each campsite was a good size. Beautiful sunsets from the camp's pier. Hosts were very helpful and attentive. Lots to do in the area so did not miss other amenities like swimming pool, gym or games areas. Will stay again when we are next in the area. - Louise King

Nov 2019 - $38.00
Location is 5 miles from "Squid Lips" which is right on the intercostal and 8 miles from Melbourne Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Probably the most manicured well maintained resort we have ever stayed at. Generally, need to own an Airstream. No pets allowed. The office is only open until 2PM. Many restaurants/bars/beaches within a few miles. They have separate parking for tow vehicle along side of the RV. All wheels on concrete. grass between all concrete very thick and nicely maintained. TV over the air is great. No need to pay for cable. ATT is 5G. - Pietrzyk
Oct 2019 - $41.00
Clean and convenient to I-95. Nothing special, but not a bad place to stay to enjoy the beaches, etc. Reservation process over the phone was a bit cumbersome. It took 20 minutes. Office was never open during my stay. The CG Host contacted me on my arrival day to find out when I'd be there and met me at the entrance to take me to my spot. W/S/E hookups worked fine but are aged and not in the best condition. I was told they could only accommodate up to 38 ft MH. With my bike rack, I'm at 40 ft and had at least another 8-10 ft to spare. - 2ndRoads
Jan 2018 - $26.00
We own an Airstream and like to stay at Airstream parks but this place does not allow pets. So we had to stay elsewhere but we did drive through to check it out. Row after row of concrete. The site are very close, concrete pad, concrete patio, concrete 2 track for your vehicle. A couple of strips of grass. No trees or landscaping. But it looked to be very clean. There is a tiny aerated pond. I'd guess half the units are Airstream and some of those were very unkempt. The rest were SOB and the park was nearly full. As we entered the park in our vehicle, some woman YELLED at us that dogs are not allowed (one of our dogs was looking out the back window). As we had no intention of letting the dogs out of the truck, we continued on - and this person continued to YELL at us until we were out of earshot. Uncharacteristically mean for an Airstream Park. I think this place has some advantages, it is low cost and very clean. But it's not for us. - janci

Dec 2019 - $45.00
Jetty Park Campground at Port Canaveral has so much going for it, but there is currently one downside you need to beware of. The park has great access to the beach. You can walk to at least two eating and drinking venues. You can also watch rocket launches and view the many ships that pass by in the channel right in front of the park. The bathrooms are very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The park has a large, clean office and store. The downside for me was the construction noise going on right across the fence from our camping spot. Everyday from around 6am to 4pm the loud noises of construction equipment begins with the constant beeping of backup alarms, heavy equipment rumbling and the chatter of pneumatic tools. This daily onslaught of noise really degraded my overall experience. They appear to be building an enormous cruise boat terminal and I don't see an end to it anytime soon. and some of the back in sites are on grass and you will need levelers they are not level. - romstead
Nov 2019 - $50.00
Sites are close. Convenient to beach. If you stay near the restrooms and laundry people will constantly walk through your site instead of around the road. They will walk within one foot of your rig. - John Parris
Oct 2019 - $34.00
Very nice park. Pretty decent by county park standards. Friendly staff. Close to beach and cruise ship port. - Coevers

Dec 2018 - $45.00
This RV park is like a bark park. Dog crap everywhere. There were signs to pick up after your dog, but many people did not and it was not enforced. The noise from I-95 was worse then any rest area that I have stayed in. The TV package that was included was a joke. Never stay here again. - Hank Hal
May 2018 - $50.00
Summary-at $50/night, expect a bit more. The good news is that the Internet works and the common areas are clean. Very friendly long time campers tried to help me out as a relative "newbie". Staff also friendly. The bad news is the sites are not very level and mostly on just dirt or a very thin layer of gravel. Low spots mean there are pools of standing water after rains. Right on top of Interstate so you'll get some noise and even a view of that road. Pool closes at 7, not dark 'til after 8. Not sure why we couldn't use it? - lesstraveledroad
Feb 2018 - $50.00
The office is closed from 10-2, and not operated very well during office hours. We typically travel here after visiting Orlando, so checkout times of 11 in Orlando put us here before one. This has happened more than once, and the last time I called ahead during office hours to find out what site I would be on as not to be stuck waiting for the office to open. No one answered or returned my message. The Park was nice, the sites were mostly gravel. Good power and water. Nice base for the area, just needs better customer service. On both occasions the owners were in their office/house just ignoring us. - Motorhome Madness
