Two things would keep us from staying here again. First, they should restrict the Tiki Bar and beach area to resort guests only. I don't mind little kids cutting through my site, which happens. I do mind adults who have been drinking cutting through my site all day and after dark. No wonder they send a special email to remind you to lock up your valuables, the place is not secure at all. Also did not care for loud, foul language right outside my rig. Also did not care for the trash on the beach, empty beer cans and cigarette butts that stayed there all day. By the end of the week I was tired of listening to someone else's choice of rock music. Second, they reserve the best waterfront sites for motor homes, and trailers are relegated to the crummier sites even though the price is the same for both. I understand they cannot control the construction on the adjacent property but they can control the clutter of tiki huts that block the view of the water. And they could adjust the price accordingly. Site 22 is bad, 23 is worse and 24 they have no business using at all but you cannot avoid them because the office assigns sites, you cannot reserve one. To be fair, we did have fun there, nice people around us and they had a meet-n-greet for resort guests one night. Our dogs liked swimming in the sound. But this really did not offset the negatives so we would not go back. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

They charge $25 if you want to check in early. A nice way to kill time is to park in one of the beach access lots in the Gulf Island National Seashore east of Pensacola Beach. The largest close one is Lot H.

Excellent RV park in Pensacola Beach. Park is on the Santa Rosa sound with a nice beach. Across the street is the Gulf and beautiful beaches. Our site was right off the highway so we did experience some noise, however it was not a problem with fans on. Park is busy, sites are filled as soon as they are vacant. Staff is friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants, bars and stores within walking distance. It was our first time here, however friends told us the Tiki Bar on their beach was a little loud and people walked through sites to get to it which was annoying for those paying premium price for a site on the beachfront. It was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed, we met some very nice people, some who come yearly for month(s). Concrete pads and blacktop roads, each sites has a patio and pavers which extended it a little bit. Picnic table at each site. Would have given it a 10 if they fixed patio pavers and other minor maintenance items. We will come back and stay longer since we didn't experience even a small part of what's in the area. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

When we checked in, they gave us an access card for the pool, laundry, and showers. They also had someone guide us to the site, and they offered to help get us backed in and connected. Our site was pretty good on the passenger side, but a little close on the driver's side. If our driver's side slide had been working, it would have almost touched the neighbor's RV. The interior roads as asphalt, and the pads are concrete, with a picnic table. There was plenty of room to park the tow behind the coach, since it was a pull-in site. The park sits on the Pensacola Bay, with its own beach, and some tables, chairs, and umbrellas on the beach. This park is one of the cleanest and best maintained we have seen in 4 years of full-timing. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed in lot 12, a wonderful premium site right on the water. The views were beautiful! We felt it was worth the extra cost to have the view from our RV, as the temperatures were going to be a little iffy. It was so nice to sip my coffee in the morning and look out our front window at the beautiful water view! You could back in or drive forward, and we chose the latter because of the view. The park was clean and looked like new. We saw two different playgrounds, one near the beach area. It is in a good location, close to lots of shops and restaurants and right across the street from the gulf and beaches. The showers and bathrooms were clean, modern and private, and the staff was very accommodating. It is a bit pricey at $100 per night for the premium sites, but we enjoyed our stay very much! We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very tight spaces, which is understandable from a business/real estate standpoint, but is somewhat uncomfortable from a vacation perspective. Sprinklers come on frequently and if you leave your chairs out, they will be wet. Very limited dog area which was not well patrolled because there was considerable dog waste in both sections despite the availability of bags. Staff was mostly courteous and helpful. Great location for watching fireworks. Have to scale rocks to get in the bay. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed at the park for 8 days due to having an issue with a slide. We originally had a 7 day trip planned, they allowed us to stay an extra day so we had time to work on it. Great people. I will be staying there again soon. They had a Thanksgiving day meal set up for those who want to participate. The park itself was very clean and organized. One member assisted us in parking or 38 foot class A so we had the best use of the spot. The picnic table was in great condition, electric and water pedestals were very modern, they did a lot of work making this park as up to date as possible. Sprinklers ran some at night so we were told to watch out for our personal stuff so it wouldn't get wet, not a problem. They opened up a TIKI Bar on their beach area on the sound side...what a treat. I highly recommend this park for any age group, it had everything there that we could want. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

If you don't mind walking 2 or 3 blocks to see everything, then all you need is yourself while staying here. Sidewalks and crosswalks going across the streets is very good. Enjoy your time there and relax. There is a Tiki Bar on premises, and plenty of restaurants with bars all around, as well as tourist shopping places.

We were only booked here for two nights but ended up staying another night and it was fabulous! They have opened the tiki bar right on the beach and it was so much fun. They have a lot of new plans that they're going to put together to make this a special place. We loved our site and loved the fact that we could walk across the street to the white sand beach or be on the resort side for the day. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance easily. This is a top notch resort. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We spent a week in June at PCBRVR. We had a premium site which was right on the beach on Santa Rosa Sound. The resort was very clean and well maintained. It had a large water front area with cabanas, lounges, chairs, umbrellas, and an outdoor bar. The pool was small for the size of the resort, but well maintained. There is also a playground located on the beach. This is the only campground we have ever stayed at that actually enforces their rules. Pet owners must clean up behind their pets, no short-cutting through others campsites, etc. The staff was friendly and efficient. It is conveniently located near the hub of activities on PCB. We had a great week and our grandkids really enjoyed all the facilities. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Nice place. They decided to clean the beach the day before we left. Blown sand and dust all over everyone's camper and trucks. Made a mess. We paid for a premium site right on the sound. People would hang out right at the rear of our camper because they didn't want to pay for a premium site. One person even took one of our chairs and used it like it was his own. The camper beside us hand kids that started running back and forth in their camper. Started about 7:00 am and lasted till about 10:00 pm everyday. Not a good value for the money. Wonderful RV park for a trip to the beach. This place is a 3 min walk across the street to some of the most beautiful white beaches in America. The sites are level concrete pads with great hookups. Some nice palm trees throughout. Most of the sites are filled by nice motor coaches. Minutes away from plenty of great restaurants. One of the best Florida beach parks you'll find. Location is the key to this park and that is what you are paying for. The small park is located between Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The roads are narrow and the sites are tight. You park on a concrete pad, however, our coach took up the entire pad. The rest of the site is grass with a small concrete pad only large enough for a picnic table. The table is located right next to sewer connections of your neighbor. No rugs are allowed on the grass. In order to fit the car on our site, you had to pull in at an angle. The park has a small beach on Santa Rosa Sound with wooden chaise lounges, however, the chairs are in terrible condition and there were no cushions so they were unusable. There is a small heated pool, but the lounge chairs around the pool are also in need of repair. It is a great location for exploring Pensacola and the surrounding area and lots of shops and restaurants within walking or biking distance. The WiFi was strong and reliable and the laundry room was clean and priced reasonably. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is our first time here, and we love it! It is in a great location, and beautiful. You are steps from their little beach on the sound, or a few minutes walk across the street to the public beach. You can also walk to two great restaurants/bars as well as other ones that aren't as great, but okay. You can also walk to a number of little markets, shops and liquor stores ... so you don't even need a vehicle. The spaces are a good amount of space apart, especially for being on the water! They have hookups on both sides, so you can back in or pull in and be facing the water! The premium spots face the sound, so you have that beautiful view right out the front windshield if you're in a class A or C. There is a pad and a picnic table at each spot, and there's is a hole in each picnic table if you want to bring a large umbrella for extra shade. Regarding their little beach on the sound, you can walk the dogs there (with poop bags provided), but you do have to watch for sand burrs. Just make sure to check the dogs paw pads after each potty break. There are chaise lounges and umbrellas provided, and there are two spots where you can walk out and access the water. The pool is perfect unless there are more than a dozen or so people. They just don't have enough chairs, so be prepared to bring your own. They have four chaise lounges, and two of those are sort of broken. They have four wood tables with umbrellas, and four separate chairs, so needless to say, not a lot of places to lay out and get your tan (or nap) on. My only suggestions aside from adding chaise lounges, would be I kind of wish they had more tropical plants like hibiscus, etc. They have palm trees, which are perfect, but us northerners would love to see flowers we only get to see when we come south! We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

You can find my reviews on Yelp for the Shrimp Basket, Red Fish Blue Fish, Flounders Chowder House and Casino Beach. Red Fish Blue Fish brings in their shrimp and fish fresh daily. Can't say the same for the other places, but Flounders has good chowder, food and a nice vibe too. For the cigar smokers, there is a nice liquor store across the street that has an okay selection. There is a big beach store next door that sells floats, clothes, sunscreen, etc.

This is our second stay at this park. We stayed for the month of August, which they consider a "shoulder" month and paid $1300.00 plus tax for one month. This price includes electricity. Our site is nice, roomy and level on concrete pads. One Saturday during our stay, the park held a Block Party for all of the guests. They had bouncing house for the kids, vendors set up selling food, drinks and items such as prints. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the park is very well maintained. Since we were here last winter there are people driving golf carts available to take you to area Restuarants or other activities on the beach for tips only. They also have trolley stop on the street in front of the park. Both of these and the Restuarants and Island Market within walking distance provide access if you don't want to get into traffic.
