We were very impressed for our first visit here. Very well kept and friendly staff. The beach is small, but very cute and easy entrance into the sound for a swim. Tiki hut had lots of young locals, but they were well behaved. Full hook ups, concrete pads. We had a premium site, hence the higher cost per nite, but we liked being in the middle, rather than along the fencing. I think we chose well, as the water view sites had much less privacy. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the tiny pool. It was worth the extra cost per night. We will be back. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This was our first time staying at the park. While the park is very nice, the sites are very close to each other. We had a premium site, however our site was directly in front of the tiki bar. While the location was good for access to the beach, on multiple occasions we had bar patrons stumbling through the campsite while we were sitting outside. One another occasion the bar was hosting a class reunion, so they decided to park a food truck in the adjacent site. This meant that we listened to a loud generator for several hours while trying to sit outside. It seems that when it comes to the bar, the resort will bend over backwards and allow them to do as they please. When checking in, we were told that if there were any issues with the bar, bring them up to the office so they could be addressed. When we did raise concern we were brushed off and told to book a site further from the beach if we didn't like their version of "paradise". Well, my version of paradise does not include drunk people stumbling through, and my expectation of customer service does not include being brushed off as a paying customer in order to cater to someone who is disturbing my customers. So chances are we will not be staying here again. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at PBRV Resort back in 2016 and 2017. On each of those visits, we were able to reserve a "premium" bayfront site with no problem. In fact, we were even able to pick a site, even though the fine print said they could not guarantee a specific spot. They no longer let you pick a site. You can only specify standard, deluxe or premium.

When we arrived at the park, we were assigned site 56. When we were escourted to the site, it was quickly evident to me that it is one of the worse sites in the park. Only 4 sites in the park back up to other sites. Those are sites 52, 53, 55 and 56. These are uncomfortably close; literally within 1-2 feet of each other. I went back to the office to express my displeasure with the site, especially in light of the fact that I had made the reservation back in January. There were other much better spots open in the park, but they only offered me one that backed up to the main highway, so we stayed where we were. It does appear that they give preference to motorhomes when it comes to the nicer spots. The sites that back up to each other would be ok if the rv behind you is small.Nearly every other site in the park is fine; they are close together but there is enough room. It's not really the kind of park where people go to put out their lawn chairs and sit. Most people use it like a hotel room.
Since we stayed here 2 years ago, the bay area has been converted to a Tiki Bar. It is very nicely done and still offer free umbrellas/chairs and some nice Tiki huts to sit under. The problem is that this bar is open to the public and advertised as so. By far, the majority of the patrons are college-aged kids that arrive by boat or climb around the fence to party. Lots of drinking and use of the f-word pretty much each of the 10 days we were there. It appears that the resort has leased the property to whoever operates the bar so there is no supervision.

Though it is in a great location, I’m Not sure if we will return to the park. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very handy park for Pensacola Beach. We had a premium spot right on the beach, which is on the sound side, not the gulf side. Easy walk across the street to the gulf shore beaches. They have opened up a bar on the beach in the campground. It is supposed to close at 10 each night, but until then, if you want to sit outside and enjoy the quiet, you are SOL. Usually 20-30 people there each night. Sometimes, till 10:30. If you enjoy being right where the action is, it would be great. Further back in the park, it is quieter, and the price is better, but the sports are not on the beach. I feel the price paid would be more worth it without the bar.
During the daytime hours, the beach is lovely, with umbrellas and chairs available to all. The beach is open to the public, as I think they all have to be, so on weekends, it can get a bit crowded.
The campground is clean and well kept. Sites are not large, with not a lot of space between sites. They do help park people, which is a plus. The WiFi is not great. We used our Verizon mostly. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here on spring break. If you stay in a premium spot, it’s truly ocean front. Walking distance to the huge public beach across the street as well as tons of things to do. The blue angels practice a short distance away- check their website for schedule and activities. Need to book well in advance, it’s a popular spot. Two things would keep us from staying here again. First, they should restrict the Tiki Bar and beach area to resort guests only. I don't mind little kids cutting through my site, which happens. I do mind adults who have been drinking cutting through my site all day and after dark. No wonder they send a special email to remind you to lock up your valuables, the place is not secure at all. Also did not care for loud, foul language right outside my rig. Also did not care for the trash on the beach, empty beer cans and cigarette butts that stayed there all day. By the end of the week I was tired of listening to someone else's choice of rock music. Second, they reserve the best waterfront sites for motor homes, and trailers are relegated to the crummier sites even though the price is the same for both. I understand they cannot control the construction on the adjacent property but they can control the clutter of tiki huts that block the view of the water. And they could adjust the price accordingly. Site 22 is bad, 23 is worse and 24 they have no business using at all but you cannot avoid them because the office assigns sites, you cannot reserve one. To be fair, we did have fun there, nice people around us and they had a meet-n-greet for resort guests one night. Our dogs liked swimming in the sound. But this really did not offset the negatives so we would not go back. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

They charge $25 if you want to check in early. A nice way to kill time is to park in one of the beach access lots in the Gulf Island National Seashore east of Pensacola Beach. The largest close one is Lot H.

Excellent RV park in Pensacola Beach. Park is on the Santa Rosa sound with a nice beach. Across the street is the Gulf and beautiful beaches. Our site was right off the highway so we did experience some noise, however it was not a problem with fans on. Park is busy, sites are filled as soon as they are vacant. Staff is friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants, bars and stores within walking distance. It was our first time here, however friends told us the Tiki Bar on their beach was a little loud and people walked through sites to get to it which was annoying for those paying premium price for a site on the beachfront. It was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed, we met some very nice people, some who come yearly for month(s). Concrete pads and blacktop roads, each sites has a patio and pavers which extended it a little bit. Picnic table at each site. Would have given it a 10 if they fixed patio pavers and other minor maintenance items. We will come back and stay longer since we didn't experience even a small part of what's in the area. When we checked in, they gave us an access card for the pool, laundry, and showers. They also had someone guide us to the site, and they offered to help get us backed in and connected. Our site was pretty good on the passenger side, but a little close on the driver's side. If our driver's side slide had been working, it would have almost touched the neighbor's RV. The interior roads as asphalt, and the pads are concrete, with a picnic table. There was plenty of room to park the tow behind the coach, since it was a pull-in site. The park sits on the Pensacola Bay, with its own beach, and some tables, chairs, and umbrellas on the beach. This park is one of the cleanest and best maintained we have seen in 4 years of full-timing. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed in lot 12, a wonderful premium site right on the water. The views were beautiful! We felt it was worth the extra cost to have the view from our RV, as the temperatures were going to be a little iffy. It was so nice to sip my coffee in the morning and look out our front window at the beautiful water view! You could back in or drive forward, and we chose the latter because of the view. The park was clean and looked like new. We saw two different playgrounds, one near the beach area. It is in a good location, close to lots of shops and restaurants and right across the street from the gulf and beaches. The showers and bathrooms were clean, modern and private, and the staff was very accommodating. It is a bit pricey at $100 per night for the premium sites, but we enjoyed our stay very much! Very tight spaces, which is understandable from a business/real estate standpoint, but is somewhat uncomfortable from a vacation perspective. Sprinklers come on frequently and if you leave your chairs out, they will be wet. Very limited dog area which was not well patrolled because there was considerable dog waste in both sections despite the availability of bags. Staff was mostly courteous and helpful. Great location for watching fireworks. Have to scale rocks to get in the bay. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed at the park for 8 days due to having an issue with a slide. We originally had a 7 day trip planned, they allowed us to stay an extra day so we had time to work on it. Great people. I will be staying there again soon. They had a Thanksgiving day meal set up for those who want to participate. The park itself was very clean and organized. One member assisted us in parking or 38 foot class A so we had the best use of the spot. The picnic table was in great condition, electric and water pedestals were very modern, they did a lot of work making this park as up to date as possible. Sprinklers ran some at night so we were told to watch out for our personal stuff so it wouldn't get wet, not a problem. They opened up a TIKI Bar on their beach area on the sound side...what a treat. I highly recommend this park for any age group, it had everything there that we could want. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

If you don't mind walking 2 or 3 blocks to see everything, then all you need is yourself while staying here. Sidewalks and crosswalks going across the streets is very good. Enjoy your time there and relax. There is a Tiki Bar on premises, and plenty of restaurants with bars all around, as well as tourist shopping places.

We were only booked here for two nights but ended up staying another night and it was fabulous! They have opened the tiki bar right on the beach and it was so much fun. They have a lot of new plans that they're going to put together to make this a special place. We spent a week in June at PCBRVR. We had a premium site which was right on the beach on Santa Rosa Sound. The resort was very clean and well maintained. It had a large water front area with cabanas, lounges, chairs, umbrellas, and an outdoor bar. The pool was small for the size of the resort, but well maintained. There is also a playground located on the beach. This is the only campground we have ever stayed at that actually enforces their rules. Pet owners must clean up behind their pets, no short-cutting through others campsites, etc. The staff was friendly and efficient. It is conveniently located near the hub of activities on PCB. We had a great week and our grandkids really enjoyed all the facilities. We camped at Pensacola Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Nice place. They decided to clean the beach the day before we left. Blown sand and dust all over everyone's camper and trucks. Made a mess. We paid for a premium site right on the sound. People would hang out right at the rear of our camper because they didn't want to pay for a premium site. One person even took one of our chairs and used it like it was his own. The camper beside us hand kids that started running back and forth in their camper. Started about 7:00 am and lasted till about 10:00 pm everyday. Not a good value for the money.
