We stopped here to go to the Naval Aviation Museum and were fortunate to be there when the Blue Angels we're practicing. Very nice park and easy on and off I-10. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

I rarely give park reviews but this park is the exception. This is a very nice RV park. Even though the interior roads and parking spaces are gravel, they were very firm, smooth, wide and level. Pads under my levelers were not required. There appeared to be about ten spaces for travelers and people that were going to be staying a short time. We spent five nights at the park and it was always quiet. As in most RV parks, the majority of the spaces were taken by full time occupants that were fairly separated from travelers. All of those spaces for full time residents were very clean and orderly. Even though my RV sewer hose opening is low, the sewer fitting was placed lower so that the hose drained without a problem. Sewer opening had a threaded cap. The sewer pipe was surrounded by concrete that did not interfere with my hose fitting. The whole park was very well maintained. There was no trash to be seen. They had a recycling bin. There were large open areas and a central fire ring surrounded with seating. Adjacent to and part of the park was a very pretty pond. Water, sewer and Electrical were perfectly placed and sanitary. All worked perfectly. Wifi was very good. I just used my antenna for TV. There are many TV stations in the area. We did not use bath or laundry facilities. Check-in was fast and the lady at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. The owners live adjacent to the park and obviously care about their customers. Access to I-20 was easy. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park before. It is lovely. The people in the office are very friendly & helpful. The sites are level & the hook ups are well placed. The site we were in was satellite friendly & there is cable as well. They have a nice laundromat. There is grass by the sites for the dogs & plenty of places to walk them, too. They do have a dog park but it is located behind someone's site. We have never used it because of its proximity to the other guests. There are plenty of restaurants & shopping in the area. We will be back next year. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Mc Guire's Irish Pub is a great place to eat. Not only do we highly recommend the Sheppard's Pie but the decor is a hoot, over a million dollar bills adorn the walls & ceilings.

Very nice park, long level pull through sites. Area is very clean and the staff is great. Dog park is kind of small but it is shaded. The park is always full, so I second the review that says call in advance. We will stay here again. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great location off I-10 then take a short county road to CG entrance. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are many pull-through sites and are all level and long for transient travelers. There are several back-in's and they are for the monthly snowbirds. The park is clean, orderly and well maintained. The analog cable TV was acceptable, WiFi was good and had good Verizon and T-Mobile cell. The laundry facilities worked great. Needed a propane bottle filled, set it in front of RV by the interior road in the morning returned filled by lunch. We like the CG because of it' easy access to touring the area and also the warm feeling the staff provides to it's guest. The park stays full so you must reserve well in advance. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at the park before and it is a nice spot. This time we were in a new area and the spaces are spaced good but we could not get level due to the slope of the site. This was the only down side to the park overall is a good stay. The roads are easy to get around, easy off the freeway. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We came in for one night and when we checked in, I told them our jacks were broken and asked for a level site. They put us in one of the pull-thrus, #64, and someone guided us to the site. At the site, our guide stopped us when we got to the area of the site that was the most level. The park is close to I-10, with easy on and off access. No problems with the connections. Cable, satellite, and OTA TV worked well. We didn't use the wi-fi. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

Site was #40. with Good Sam discount- adequately priced. This is good for easy off & on I-10 & plenty of shopping in the area: Publix, Walmart, CVS, etc. However it is about 20 min from the downtown area and beaches which you have to access the main highways to get there. Upon check-in we had an escort to our site which was a long enough gravel pull thru to fit 35ft coach & tow. Our site, 43, was satellite friendly, however the back-in sites along the perimeter of the park had tree shade. A lot of road construction in this area so when out with tow, had to really pay attention to traffic flow. As others have posted, very quiet at night. Would stay here again. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are into seafood, this is the Mecca. Make sure you visit Joe Patti's fish market that has the best selection of fish & shrimp bar none. They even steam the shrimp for you to your liking. One of the best seafood dinners we ever had was at the Fish House restaurant. Try the grouper bites, gumbo, fried shrimp platter, seafood sampler platter - absolutely delicious. Finished with Creme Brûlée- equally delicious.

Easy to get to, and near I-10, but no road noise. Sites are gravel, and plenty long for truck and 5th wheel. 2 sewer hook ups spaced along the site. Good interior roads. It had been raining hard for a day or two, and the the campground was dry. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pensacola Naval Air Museum is a must visit. Campground gives you a list of local things to see and do and restaurants. The list gives directions for each of them. Coach-n-4 was a nearby restaurant with excellent meat and seafood at reasonable prices.

One night stay on our way heading east. We arrived after dark and it was raining...not our usual way of arriving at a park, but it was only for one night. Owners/management was extremely helpful in guiding us to an available pull through spot. Site was level and hookups good. It rained a lot during the night and we didn't experience any flooding in the park or on the site. The next morning we could see that there is ample room between sites, nice picnic table and brick area. Liked that this RV park is far enough off the freeway (but not far) to avoid the noise. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The sites are spacious with level gravel sites, patios, tables and grass in between. The grounds are perfectly maintained, and all utilities work with new WIFI, and cable TV and two fenced in dog parks. Located right off I-10 near tons of restaurants with easy access to downtown, the Naval Air Museum, and the beaches. We stay here whenever we are in the area, and wouldn't stay anywhere else after our first visit. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice smaller park. Lots of open green space. Gravel sites, not too bad for level. Good wifi and cable. Quiet. Good laundry facilities. We were on the move, so our short stay did not allow for much exploration, but looked like lots of things to do and see near by. We would stay here again, hopefully for longer to allow more visiting. The staff was so helpful with directions to eating places, directions to the Naval Aviation Museum and just really GREAT hosts. Our site was in the sun, BUT their are sites in the shade. Excellent lay out of the electric, water and sewer. Very smooth gravel roads throughout the park, keep your speed down as not to create dust for your fellow campers. Tips for other Campers:

For a 50/60s diner style restaurant with GREAT food and really good service go to Wayne's Family Diner which is just east of the park at the traffic light on Pine Forest Rd. When you turn off Pine Forest Rd and head West to the park--look for the 2nd RV park sign. The 1st sign goes to the wrong park !!

Management is very friendly and helpful. Utilities are all very good. Cable TV has lots of channels. WiFi is very good. Sites are gravel and level. Not many trees, but we're used to that. Campground is located near I-10, so access is good. You might expect the office to be located at the entrance of the park, but it's a bit farther in. Every time we have been here, a staff member has led us to our site in golf cart and made sure we were parked so that we were off the road front and back . I always appreciate that. Even though we made our latest reservation the day before we needed it, they were able to save a Pull-thru site for us. So THANKS ! We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.
