This is an Encore park, so zero cost for our TT plan. Glad of that as we would be unhappy if the was costing us. Roads all blacktop, but some tight turns. Site numbers start at one and stop a 591. While driving around, I am guessing that there are 30 (??) sites for RV's. Those are all back-ins, and in one area. We are (not in that area) in between a single wide mobile home and the bathrooms & dumpster. Have not visited the bathrooms, but there are folks cleaning every day. I am surprised that many of the permanent residents use the bath house. Just about every mobile home has a carport. Took me 30 minutes to back into my site (with the help of worker and two residents). Very tight to put a 40' into designated site. I carry a second fresh water hose, as the 25' did not make it to the water spicket, shared with another mobile-home. The good news is that the over/air was good (ABC,NBC,CBS). Tampa towers not far. Long term residents can have Spectrum cable hooked up. Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, beer and liquor stores close. Plenty of restaurants on the main Hwy (Route 19). Route 19 has heavy traffic in the morning and afternoon. Nice pool and club house. Here during an 8 day heat wave, as daily temps above 80, up to 85 and humid. Plenty of 50 amp, as A/C's ran all day. Met many friendly neighbors. Parked car on side of MH, just enough room. - Long Island Mac
Nov 2018 - $28.00
Friendly personnel, paved sites with a bit of grass and trees, close to others but private, paved roads, laundry sites close by, pool and billiards, group activities available. Close to nice beaches. Grocery store one block away. Greek restaurants! - Bwest
Mar 2019 - $52.00
Was OK for a few nights. Most of the place is long term residents. Pool area was nice, looked relatively new. Parking pad was grass with a small concrete pad to setup table & chairs. Stipulated that you not park on the pad as the RV weight would break the pad and you'd be responsible for the repairs. This had happened to the spot where we parked, but the pad had NOT been repaired. - ThorHurricane
Jan 2019 - $1.00
Parked in mud. Had to put boards under wheels to get out. Another class A had same problem. I was 6 inches in with parking. Again boards under wheels to get out. Load of gravel would help immensely. Part of trails collection thousand trails. Lot of permanent residents. - Tampajohn
Nov 2018 - $45.00
This is a Encore Snowbird Community that consists mostly of park models and permanent units. It is in an urban area with busy 4-lane streets and shopping centers all around. Our spot was at the end of a row and had little to recommend it except full hookups and it felt safe. We had a grassy patch with no picnic table. We tried it out while visiting our son in Tampa. It was just "ok", and we probably won't go there again. - efcarter
May 2019 - $24.00
We liked this RV Park and will return. It has a nice pool and pool area. It is pretty close to the beach and the Clearwater attractions (like the Clearwater Aquarium). It is in the city but somehow pretty quiet. The site had 50amp and sewer. The office staff were very nice. There were full timers there who were also friendly. - thekeithfan
May 2019 - $25.00
We stayed here with PPA Discount. The WiFi is free but was not working at the time we where here. They have perfect HD reception on your antenna. Although the park is near the very busy Gulf to Bay blvd the park itself is quiet. It takes a little patience to get into the park with all the traffic. But no worries. Getting out you can sneak through the backdoor, much easier. No train noise! Backins are a little challenge if your have a big rig, but once your are there it is a great spot. A short drive to the beach and you can bike for hours just right off the park. We sure will be back. By the way - a very nice hot pool. - Traveller Excel
Feb 2019 - $30.00
We are staying at the park for the winter and are very happy we decided to come here. The sites are generally pretty spacious with grass and a concrete patio. Some sites have concrete driveways, most do not and tow vehicles are parked on the grass. It is a very friendly community with a nice assortment of activities if that's your thing. It is in a great location with easy access to Tampa and St. Pete and all the services and shopping one could want. There are excellent bike paths nearby and the Phillies spring training fields are a 10 minute drive. It is generally quiet but there is a bit of traffic noise from nearby Gulf to Bay Blvd, especially on weekend nights. I highly recommend this park for a winter stay, but reservations must be made early (starting April 1 for the following winter) for a multi-month stay. - MrSunshine
Aug 2019 - $38.00
Very Quite and nice. Suggest the wooded site. - Rollin On
Jul 2019 - $45.00
This park is very clean, the grounds are very well kept and the bathrooms are some of the cleanest I have ever been in. There was a ton of space for our trailer as well as the picnic table and chairs. It had a huge cement pad. We stayed in the newer part of the resort, not much shade from trees but we were on a canal. The pool was so nice and perfect for our kids, we swam every day. This resort is close to many places to eat and it is a short driving distance to downtown Tampa. I would definitely go back! - Michele N
Jun 2019 - $50.00
Campground was very well kept. Upon arriving the attendant escorted us and help me back the RV into the spot which had plenty of room. The section I was assigned appeared to be a new section as all the sites were concrete pad with a what I describe as lighthouse hookup hubs. This section also backed up to s canal with some flat boats cruising by. The dog park although medium in size was well just an okay addition. The had a bowl and water spigot and was kept clean. The older section of the park was gravel and contained long term residence evident by decks and sheds on skids. During the day the grounds were full of workers tending to different area and at night the security hiss made their rounds. Will visit again. - Bigbobm
Feb 2015 - $18.00
The level back-in sites are very tight and getting around with our 40' was tricky. All utilities worked well but the free internet is only accessible at the office area. We enjoyed the activities and met some great campers. - dandg
Feb 2014 - $45.00
This is a snowbird park with lots of activities every day. Texas hold'em poker a couple nights a week. This is 1 of the friendliest parks we have been in. Nice sites. Mail boxes available for those staying a month or more. We stayed for 2 months and really enjoyed ourselves. Mostly seniors in park. Weather was so nice so great getaway from the North! - User2277
Oct 2013 - $34.00
I can't say that I agree with their web site when it says "A premier RV resort located in the heart of Florida", as it's actually quite a tired campground just off US 19, mostly occupied with old trailers and park homes. They DO keep it tidy though and it has a big recreation room with lots of activities over the winter season. The pool is small and quiet but suited me fine and the restrooms opposite my site/by the pool were okay and clean but very dated and worn. - Leo Millward
May 2019 - $60.00
The street address is correct however my satnav took me up the road. Don't know why. Friendly staff. However, a storm water ditch at the rear of the site meant we were visited by many bugs. Not all sites have these ditches however. Pick a site away from the storm water ditch. - The Aussie Cozzies
Oct 2018 - $76.00
Friendly staff, great pool and overall the grounds are well kept. Restrooms and laundry room were spotless. Great location and close to everything. Snow birds were arriving and everyone was very nice and gave great tips on where to eat and visit. Two negatives caused my low rating: terrible mosquito population at dusk and the terrible sewage type smell coming from the stagnate water behind out site. Both made sitting outside not enjoyable. We had a great visit and I would consider staying here again if I could pick my site. - Paulski
Oct 2018 - $35.00
Stayed here multiple times, always a nice experience. Good power, water, no satellite reception in pull thru's due to trees. Lots to do close by. - Lostinfla
Oct 2016 - $12.00
The park has a lot of full timers and office staff is rarely there for working people's hours.
Manager treats some residents with no respect.
Sites are very unlevel and electricity shuts down due to overload on a very old infrastructure along with only a row or two having 50 amps.
Asphalt is is need of replacement in pad areas and concrete patios are a trip hazard on most sites.
Ants and bugs along with limbs that need to trimmed are an everyday issue.
I have dealt with this park due to job locations for the past 3 years and it needs new management that has respect for park residents that pay the bills.
You have to rake and bag your own site.
If you get put in the field, it's overrun with stickers and ants.
Trash bins are overflowing most of the time. - sar1966
Sep 2016 - $15.00
We have stayed here several times, over the years...usually during the off season, so the rates are less, and the park isn't crowded. This rate is the off season, monthly rate. The staff have always been very friendly, and accommodating. The recreation room, pool, laundry facilities, showers and bathrooms have always been clean, well maintained, and in excellent condition. All the sites we have used had picnic tables, concrete patios, and were level. The sites are fairly close together, but not so close as to be a problem. There is a large no smoking section, which is nice. We will be back. - cliffw42
Sep 2016 - $30.00
Employees are very nice and helpful. Park is clean, as is the pool and clubhouse. Very convenient to the beaches, shopping and our family. Have stayed here several times. - Travelin' partners
Mar 2019 - $60.00
Pretty nice park for our first RV stay. The camp host was SUPER friendly and loaned us a 30 amp extension cord as the electric box was much farther away than our cord allowed. Site #8 backs up to the pond and right next to the site where the swan they have cared for is. It seems like a very nice place to spend the winter. It appeared that at least 50% of the sites were full-time residents but everyone waved to us and made us feel comfortable. I can see why their winter waiting list is a "phone book" long, despite their pricing. My only real complaint about the park isn't really about the park, it's just the location and right on ALT 19 where traffic gets insane every weekday afternoon. - MiffnKeet
Jul 2018 - $96.00
We stayed 2 nights. The rec. room was wonderful for the kids and the laundry room was clean. The big problem we had was that we had to park on the grass. We travel in a 33' class C motorhome with a tow. It rained quite about so the ground was muddy. There were ruts in the grass which made more mud. You had to pay for a premium site if you want to park on a slab. We didn't know this or we would havr done it. Muddy shoes for 2 days was not good. - SoniaR
Apr 2018 - $35.00
We stayed here from April through the end of June and loved the campground. It can be a little noisy because of the proximity to ALT 19 but the distance from multiple beaches including being 4 miles from Dunedin Beach and Honeymoon Island make up for the noise. It also had a number of excellent restaurants with in walking distance from the Pinellas hiking/biking trail right behind the park. And a delicious ice cream shop with in 200 yds of the park. The staff was very helpful. Sites were large enough for our 34' Class A but we had some difficulty getting level in our site. The park is pet friendly and several of the staff will actually pet sit. For longer times of leaving our 2 dogs in doggie day care we used Dick Martins K9 Adventures. They were wonderful with our pets and very professional. - Bruce_SA
Sep 2019 - $45.00
Caladesi RV park is a great place to live. It's located in Palm Harbor, which is a awesome place. It's in the middle of everything. The best thing is it's also very affordable to live here, so check it out . - Rick Klingenstein
Jul 2019 - $48.00
This was our first time coming here. Highly recommend this RV location. Friendly staff, great amenities, beautiful location and dog friendly. Will definitely come back! Everyone was polite and very helpful. The owner and staff was very friendly, accommodating, welcoming and the experience was nothing shy of a great time. Owner and staff was very responsive to all of our calls/text messages. Well trusted, very precise, responsive, extremely accommodating and very helpful. Owner and the staff went out if their way to make us feel at home. The location was perfect for our needs and close enough to our required daily schedule. The location is safe and quiet place to be. There's something for the whole family to enjoy... convenient walking or biking distance to Pinellas Trail, beaches, picnic tables outside, spacious pool, WiFi, game room, lots of shade, restaurants near by, walking distance to a delicious homemade ice cream place and much more. They do a great job at keeping the landscaped grounds, laundry room with AC, an amazing hang-out/family game room with AC, cable including, games, books to read and puzzles, spacious pool, and bathrooms immaculately. An extra bonus, a refill propane on site, and storage place for long term RV parking. Also, dog poop bags were always available at every doggy station with a convenient waste basket near by. As well, a huge dumpster near by and never overly full. Exceeded our expectations. My husband and I can't wait until next year to come back. My family and I had a great time. Lots of beautiful memories for the family. - J_Wulf7777
Jul 2019 - $40.00
Great RV Park! The staff were so friendly and always available to help. Management is amazing. The park itself is quiet, clean, walking or biking distance to stores, beaches, restaurants. We love the fact that the Pinellas bike trail is right next to it... Tons to do and see. Close to Tarpon Springs and Honeymoon Island. We loved it there! Just booked our second stay! - Carol Kuster
