We have stayed here many times in the last two years and everyone from the office staff to the maintenance workers have always been friendly and helpful..we love the buddy sites because we go camping a lot with our family. Anytime there was a problem it was taken care of right away. Love the location. Publix, Walgreens, CVS and urgent care facility all close by. The beach is a 5 minute drive and plenty of good restaurants within a 10 min drive..can't wait for our next family get together here in April. We camped at Vero Beach Kamp RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is the worst I've ever been to. A deposit of $250 was required. We stayed here eight weeks. When checking out I was given a form to fill out with a forwarding address where the balance of the deposit was to be returned minus the power bill. As of today I still haven't received the balance. I got through to a woman who was very rude, she told me I wouldn't be getting the balance because we checked out early. It looks like I was lied to about the deposit. About the park itself, its a crap hole. The grass when we arrived was near a foot tall and cut after we were parked and once afterward never trimmed in the eight weeks we were there. The swimming pool advertised was closed for at least six weeks of our stay. Beware of the people reading the power meter they make mistakes to their advantage. They should leave that up to the utility company. The cable advertised was not working. The sites were very close some only less than three feet apart. Not much close by. No recreation close by. Closest shopping about 8 miles. We camped at Vero Beach Kamp RV Park in a Motorhome.

One of the owners is affiliated with a construction company that stores their equipment on the grounds of the campground. Every morning bright and early you can hear the roar of the trucks and equipment start up and go about their business. This campground is not quiet by any means! Very unprofessionally run at so many levels, amateur hour.....to say the least. The noseums in late afternoon and evening will carry you away! Saw many people leave and go to another campground do to the heavy bug infestation. This place was a big disappointment! Stay away. We camped at Vero Beach Kamp RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is so beautiful, the owners keep doing improvments every summer . It is a beautiful place to visit in the summer with plenty of shade from the beautiful oak trees. The pool is spectacular. The sites are very clean and ready for you to relax and enjoy. The winters are so nice here the weather is perfect. The workampers are very nice and they are eager to help anyone with anything they need. The showers and restrooms are very clean. The laundry room is also clean. Come to Vero Beach kamp and enjoy your camping experience with the best. There is nothing like a fun camping experience I give this Kamp a 10 without a doubt. Loved my visit!!! Real nice family atmosphere under a canopy of beautiful Live Oak Trees!! Workampers complete the extended family feeling -- since I understand the park has been family-owned for over 30 years (and continually improving). Can't beat the RV Park's location -- right between tropical Sebastian and fun-packed Vero Beach!! Just 5 minutes away from gorgeous, relaxing beaches and Sebastian Inlet!!! Next time we'll bring the boat and stay longer. We camped at Vero Beach Kamp RV Park in a Motorhome.

We recently visited to do a little fishing. I was able to put my Flats boat in at the Wabbasso Causeway (about a mile). We also visited the beach (not much farther). We had visited a few years back and were pleasantly surprised to see the upgrades. The roads have been recently paved. My wife enjoyed riding her bicycle around the park. The pool area had new furniture and we were told that a new brick paver deck is coming (that will be nice). Our site had an asphalt gravel driveway along with a new concrete pad. From what I saw most of the sites are set up like this. Most of the park is covered with an oak hammock so the shade was nice.

The bath & shower facilities were very clean. The staff was very courteous.

We went to Captain Hirams to see some live music (not far).

We had a great trip and will return. We camped at Vero Beach Kamp RV Park in a Motorhome.

Avoid this park at all costs. The owners are milking it for every penny they can get out of it. The laundry facility is terrible. The grass doesn't get cut too often, and the noseeums can just about carry you away. The laundry facility is terrible and the swimming pool is ice cold. There is a lot of swampy land in the park.

The owners must also have a construction business because they store all their equipment on the premises and it's very noisy at times. We camped at Vero Beach Kamp RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park could be great if it were cleaned up an the owners were not so rude. The work campers are wonderful but you can feel the tension as the owners have a very funny way of making them do things. Water pressure good, easy access for big rigs shaded lots. Laundry room kept as clean as possible for an open air laundry. Four top loaders an two dryers are really old and dirty. There are four front loaders along with four dryers that are newer. Be careful with the front loaders they do not keep the rubber door boot cleaned out. We found candy, ink pens, an who knows what else stuck in the boot. These are things that go through the cycle with your clothes. We choose to do our wash in our small W/D in our rig because of this. There is NO wifi even though the web site says there is. When we asked about the wifi we were told that it is really just a hot spot and you need to sit in the laundry room or office to get it. There are four mobile homes in the front by the pool along with one in the back that are in very poor condition. The roofs on some are literally falling in. These are rented out weekly to some less then desirables who hang out at the pool drinking an cursing at their kids. There are old non functioning RV's to the back of the park some with trees growing in them. If you call to make a reservation an they refuse to give you a site number beware. Their policy is to not refuse anyone. So you don't know if you will be in the grassy field at the back that floods with no pad. Or in a rock paved lot with a pad. If you book for an extended stay you may have to play musical sites over the term of your stay. If they give you a lot number ask if you will be able to put your awning out. Several sites have trees preventing you from putting out an awning. No grass was mowed during our week an some areas of the park the grass was 10" 12" high or better an these were lots with guests there. One woman who is there for the winter purchased her own push mower to keep her lot mowed. Ants, ants, ants, spray around your lot they won't spray. Make sure to be using your surge protector! There are a lot of power surges. The owners run some sort of construction business out of the park so be prepared to hear heavy equipment coming and going. I usually don't go into such detail about a park. But wanted people to beware of what they may book into. Some travel great distances to winter in beautiful Florida, if you get here an it is not what you expected it can be difficult to find another park in the area as they book up fast. If the owners got their act together, stopped looking down their noses at guests, cleaned up their park, got the eye sores out ie; old trailers an RVs and they kept up on the place this could very well be one of the best parks in the area. It seems they have the bad McDonald's on the interstate attitude, " Quality of service don't matter because new people just keep coming". We camped at Vero Beach Kamp RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just off US1 and it looks OK - on arrival. Didn't have a record of our reservation. So, we were placed In overflow. 30 amp service for 1.5 weeks paying the same as any other larger site. Our 37.5 ' RV was literally 1" from trees on one side and 2" from a cement platform which we couldn't use because the slide out covered it. WiFi was available, but you had to walk up to the office to use it. Couldn't get Comcast to supply us with internet service for a month as they only had dial-up for a small price to pay or a contract for a year a $52.00 per month. Owner has a dump truck company. Trucks in and out at the front of park which is where the overflow sites are. Can hear trains night and day. We have been here two weeks and still haven't heard a lawn mower! I would rate it a 1-1-1 on Good Sam! Pool is dirty with miss matched furniture that were purchased 40 years ago. Oh, and try getting your money back once you have paid... Good luck with that!! We camped at Vero Beach Kamp RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Facility is very run down. Our stay was in late April and there were many open sites, most campers in storage. Office staff were very pleasant and helpful. The site seems to double as a construction company - several large dump trucks and other heavy equipment trailers. Construction company traffic/noise starts early and lasts all day. Dirt/sand - no pads. Infested with no-see-ems and ants. Will not stay here again. We camped at Vero Beach Kamp RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lots were level and our site was packed in so our slide hung over next patio. Sewer smell constant from cisterns behind site. Pet friendly but they have a flea problem. Internet access very poor. Washers and dryers constantly worked on. Would not stay there again. We camped at Vero Beach Kamp RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Not worth the price they charge. Office help was new to the area and didn't know where anything was. Some sites have been upgraded, but they have not bothered to connect the cable, but still charge full price. Many old seasonal trailers that are parked here full time, park looks like a storage yard. Only a few paved sites, the rest are dirt or some grass. Our site was infested with fire ants. This is an old, starting to look tacky park. We drove out to Sebastian SP and Long Point County park just down the road, both were three times nicer, on the water with plenty of activities. We camped at Vero Beach Kamp RV Park in a Motorhome.
