All sites are back-in. Ours was full hook-up with 50 amp. Cement pads; ours was not level. Sites are fairly small with barely enough room for rig and truck. Trucks had to be moved for neighbors to park and to leave. Grass and picnic table between RV's. Cable. Good wifi even though park was very full. Very nice pool and hot tub. Internal roads are Ok for big rigs but could use repaving. Great restaurant in park with wide variety of good food. Restaurant is modeled after an RV. Go early as it gets crowded. Would stay here again. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't miss the iconic Parksdale Farm Market - famous for their strawberries. Don't let long lines deter you; they move very fast and there is lots of seating. Lazy Days RV sales, service, and store is next door; a shuttle will take you there.

A relatively inexpensive place to stay in the Tampa area. Short back in sites, but sites are level. Person that checked us in was not friendly at all. Nice dog park. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We have a 41' 5th wheel and stayed in the back row, we fit barely. We had to park the truck on the road. Nice level site with just enough room between sites. Full hookup, great rates with free breakfast and lunch. Very convenient to Tampa. We stayed for service on our RV and would stay again. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Camped here before and after getting service at Lazy Days. Staff is friendly. Grounds are clean. Exit 10 restaurant (on site) had good food and happy hour. The resort allowed us to use their facilities when our 5th wheel was getting serviced, which was a big help. RV park is right off the highway and you will hear road noise. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were very disappointed in this park, I will say that it has an awesome pool. But the the sites are on top of each other, barely enough room to put your awning out. The "free food" stunk. Only one selection and we didn't like any food offered, and we are not that fussy. The service in the restaurant, which we gave it 2 tries, Stunk, the food cold, did I mention the service stunk. People were rude, rude, the shuttle driver was awesome. At least when we left early they refunded our money. I would Never go there again and would not recommend it to anyone. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were disappointed in WiFi service, we could look at our mail but not open any links. You had to go to their restaurant for full WiFi. All sites are back-ins, we were lucky to get a site with no one behind us. We have a large window in our living room of our fifth wheel which would have been inches from the back of another rv. All sites are short and close together for the price. Very quiet, convenient location, complimentary breakfast and lunch. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I love this place! The sites are spacious and the staff is nice. We came here to get our RV serviced across the street. Absolutely professional and just pleasant. So much to do here as well, or you can just do nothing and relax. We will definitely come back again!! We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy in and out. Paved roads and sites. Utilities worked well. Picnic table on a concrete patio. Nice facilities, friendly staff. The breakfast and lunch meal certificates were a bonus and the food was actually ok. The sites are definitely short making what would be considered a nice wide street narrower due to cars and trucks parked in front of RVs. Wifi worked well at our site and Verizon signal was good. Large park with residents turning over every few days. Large volume checking in each day and handled well by very efficient staff. The problem with this park is that the sites are short and tiny. There is hardly enough room for you RV and no room for your toad or tow vehicle. Everyone parks on the street making it impossible to back your RV in without getting others to move. The restroom and showers are very nice but there are too few for the size of the park. There are lineups constantly for both. The pool and hot tub looked very nice but were closed for the entire length of our 3 day stay. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed there for Forest River Rally. Excellent park with lots to do. Located next to dealer, which tempted us to look for a new RV:) Small spaces, making parking tow vehicle difficult. Really big park. Lots of in and out traffic but staff handled it well. Well equipped store. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed at Lazy Days during our visit to Tampa for the Florida State Fair. Like many others have stated the sites are short and close together and if other campers don't think before they park, it can be difficult to get into your site. We were fortunate and had no issues backing our 35' fifth wheel into our site. Wonderful paved site with grass on both sides. Yes it is a little short and we had to park our truck perpendicular to the RV, but again, we had no issue. It does have a true resort feel, however the hot Florida sun, even in February, can be uncomfortable in a site with no shade. All the utilities worked as they should, the vouchers for free breakfast and lunch were appreciated, but the food was lacking in flavor for the most part. We had plenty of area to walk the dogs including use of the dog play area. The biggest downside is the price during the winter, but that is to be expected. Laundry was a little pricey, but plenty of washers and dryers. If you can get a good deal during the season, it is worth it. We would stay there again. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We enjoyed our time at Lazy Days RV Resort. This is a large, clean campground, but we found sites were close together. Campground and roads are big rig friendly. No Pull-thru sites were available. Campground offers daily vouchers for free breakfast and lunch Monday thru Saturday. These food vouchers can only be redeemed at the dealership, which is next door. This dealership has some RV accessories if needed. Trolley service was available for transportation. Campground has a beautiful screen covered pool & spa area with lots of seating. They also have a restaurant & bar on-site (Called "Exit 10"). The campground put together a weekly "Movie Night" in the Rec. room, which is also available for Rally's or large group meetings. The pool/spa area, bathroom facilities and laundry room were very clean. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no issue. Verizon phones were able to maintain a 4g signal. Wi-Fi was weak and not reliable. Campground is within 1 mile of gas stations, restaurants and freeway. Grocery store (Walmart) was within a 3 mile drive. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here the last week of 2013. These folks are very focused on assuring excellent service and maintaining an above average facility. Service is the best we've seen! This time of year (around the Holidays) in central Florida one can expect to pay a premium price for a good campsite and that is true here, but it seems to be a good value. The sites are paved and the hookups are very good. Access around campground for vehicle movement is excellent. The additional services (meals- some included, WiFi, cable etc are great!) A few draw backs- but not significant issues- are the sites are short-a problem with overall facility design. Sites are 90 degrees perpendicular to the travel roads. Angled sites would have made parking the rig and possibly site length much improved. The dog runs are rather small and confining- and they need more dog runs of a larger size. Sewer connections are good, but in our case (and some others we noticed)the actual connection was above parking grade making drainage a bit of a chore. A disappointing aspect for us was that the sites- even though well mowed- were very weedy and they do not have any apparent established turf in the area we camped- or have lost control of the turf. And mother nature assured we had a good dose of mosquitoes the week we were here-- but hey that Florida! We will visit here again though. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We always like a stop at Lazy Days. What more can you ask for [even a newspaper]. The restaurant now offers other items at an extra cost. Not needed as far as I'm concerned. We contacted a salesman this time there, but was never bothered at our site to make a sale. We appreciated that. Camping world has moved and is no longer there. Lazy Day store is much more expensive and small. Things change I guess, but some things should be left alone. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
