This was our first trip in our new travel trailer. Newbies!! Registration staff were friendly and very attentive. Check-in was fast and easy. Appreciated the full pull-through parking during the registration process. Great amenities, though we didn't use them all. Trash pick-up service was wonderful. This was a great first start for our first time RVing!! We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

A 2 day stay was extended 19 days due to slipping on the hill behind our site. I ended up with a broken ankle and 2 plates with 2 screws in my ankle. The hill was covered with a layer of slippery leaves. Other guests while we were there also told us how they had slipped or fallen behind their hill sites. Fortunately, no one else was injured. Filled out an incident report with security. We had asked 5 times for a copy but was informed that the investigation was not complete and that was on May 9th. Management never checked with us and we did not anticipate their lack of concern or the additional costs with our stay. Safety is not a concern for this resort nor customer service. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We arrived at 6:30 on a weeknight. The guard was extremely informative. Our site was very nice on a corner paved lot. Back in was easy. Beautiful picnic table on patio. We had dinner in the restaurant that was delicious and fairly priced. Pool was large and screened in. Lots of poolside loungers on deck. We were very pleased and will be going back for a longer stay. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Good facility, at a premium price, if somewhat remote from shopping and restaurants. Basic breakfast and lunch at main complex is included. Good WiFi (about 4 Mbps down / 1 Mbps up on average, slower at peak times). Frequent trash pickup at campsite. Dog friendly. Pool is very nice. "Pub" restaurant is basic food and can be slow at times. Pool is inviting. I needed one Lego block to level side to side. Backing in is doable but tight-ish. On/Off access from I4 is superb. On-site Shop, Service, and sales is very large and complete. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Camping World is one exit up. Shopping and dining is a short drive away in Brandon. Seffner is a rural area with not much to offer. Skip the T/A and Flying J for fuel (40 cents markup on diesel) and drive around a bit or use Gas Buddy app). Cracker Barrel on this exit is ok, we tried the Bob Evans and it was also nothing special.

Overall Rating:

We've stayed at Lazydays in Tampa, twice now. Both times we found the campground to be clean. There is only one bathhouse and it's located in the pool area. I believe there were two bathroom stalls and two or three showers. We did not eat at their little restaurant as the hours were very limited. Location of the campground is nice. There is a Cracker Barrel on the property (or at least if feels like it's on their property) and who doesn't love Cracker Barrel?! Easy drive into Tampa. Sites are very, very close together and parking on your site typically means that you're parking perpendicular in the street in front of your rig. Because everyone does this, you might run into a problem backing your rig into your spot if you're in a larger Class A or fifth wheel; however, the park is full of those rigs so, it's definitely doable. We found the office staff to be very moody. Don't ask them to get off their seats, the attitude you'll get is ever so lovely. It's apparent that they do not like their job. The onsite security however was very nice and very helpful. Pool was cold. They say it's heated but, it was freezing even though it was 75 degrees outside so, not sure about that. Pool area was very clean. There is a small playground and tennis courts. Both were maintained. I believe there is a small fitness center; however, we did not use that. During our visits, we were given food coupons to go over to the RV dealership to eat at the cafeteria. There is a trolley that runs from the campground to the dealership; our kiddos loved that! Both drivers we had were very, very nice. The food is only so-so, but it was still fun. Looking around their sales lot is actually quite enjoyable. No sales pressure and the landscaping on the lot is very pretty. If the spots were not so tight and the office staff was friendlier... we'd give Lazydays a 9 out of 10. As is, we'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I had a wonderful stay at Lazydays, Tampa, Florida. Reasonable rates, friendly staff, free breakfast and lunch and a newspaper every morning. Beautiful pool with activities. Quiet at night even though the park is full. I will return again soon! We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Sites have concrete patios and are reasonably spaced. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very thoughtful management offers great discount for Moffitt patients. Only negative is that all sites are back-ins. No pull through sites. Put not really a problem because some are deep enough that you could stay hooked up for mid size towable. Arrived on a Thursday night, and left on a Saturday morning. Park wasn't too busy as it was summer (off peak season). All the sites are very well groomed, and the location to hookups is perfect. It's clear the Lazy Days really thought this park through. The attendants were very helpful and didn't mind we had extra guests with us (and didn't charge us). Very friendly staff and a well maintained park. I did notice some units on sites that appeared to be for sale from the dealership that they put into the campground for some reason. Great visit and we will be back. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We were here for a week at the Rally rate there is a lot to do and we got 2 free lunch and 2 free dinner tickets with each day we were there. The free food wasn't amazing but it was a huge help on the grocery budget. Very close to all the things you would want to see in the city. Spots are very tight and we had to wake up neighbors and ask them to move their cars to to be able to get out. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very well kept, neat and clean. This campground is next to the RV dealership. Sites are small and close together, not much shade. The are lots of immature trees that will probably provide shade in a few years, but not now. The staff here is super helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi and cable are provided, and breakfast and fast-food type lunch is provided free at the main building for registered campers. Although this is not a destination-type site, it's a good place to stop on the way to your destination. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park. Appears to be mostly frequented by purchasers from Lazydays. However, there are other campers here also. The park is well maintained with all paved sites. We had no issues with setting up our satellite, awnings, or slides-outs. We did have difficulty connecting to WiFi. The rate includes breakfast and lunch. The CG has security at night. The only drawback of this campground is they do not have a workout facility. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park with paved sites. Some sites back into each other so the rear of your unit may be very close to the neighbor behind you. Pool is nice and most things you may need are within a short distance of the park. It was nice having a paper each morning waiting outside. We did the free lunch a couple of days and it was nice to have a break from cooking. WiFi did not work unless you are close to the clubhouse/pool. Nice staff here. I have been to this campground before and loved it but I made the honest mistake of going during "snowbird" season and Wow, what a difference. The people who check you in acted like they were frustrated beyond compare, The person serving the cafeteria food rolled their eyes at us for saying Hello. If you have a large motorhome, the sites are very tight, we have a smaller unit now and it fit a lot better than last time I was there but I will never go back this time of year. I still like this place but never again when it is this packed. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is our forth time staying at the park. Each time has been great and we have never been harassed by the sales staff. The park is clean and well kept with a great staff, but the grass is getting a little tall (the CHI) almost got lost at the end of the leash in the tall grass. Breakfast is going down hill, and lunch was not that great but the food is free and the eating area is clean. I do not think I would ever buy an RV from the dealership, just watching how many have to bring them back for repairs. But the CG is a great place.
