This is our third year to stay at Lazy Day. It is a great facility and we always enjoy our time there and the surrounding local activities. We were a little disappointed that meals were not included this year. We felt this limited the amount of interaction with fellow campers and cut down on opportunities for the facility to be utilized. Our site was not as clean as in previous years and front desk was not as friendly or informative. We did not receive a packet of information on activities for the week and had to ask about meal tickets. We were more aware of these things due to our past experiences. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

We love staying at Lazy Days but there are some changes since our last visit. Lazy Days is now a publicly owned business. They no longer provide free breakfast or lunch at their "restaurant". The daily newspaper is still free but no longer delivered to everyone's site. You now have to go up to the newspaper box at the office. Still provide multi channel cable & easy access to over the air channels as you are very close to the broadcasting stations. Still provide WiFi. Nice pool. Exercise facilities. Cracker Barrel & Exit 10 restaurants on site. RV supply store & extensive repair & parts department as well as a large RV Sales department. Classes available also. Several dog parks, even a dog wash. Popular spot for rallies. Close to shopping & restaurants, Tampa & Brandon. Sites are small; room for your RV & park your tow in front of it. Even with the changes we still highly recommend it. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at LD campground 2 years in a row b/c it is convenient to visiting Tampa family & friends. All sites are back in with a patio table & full hook ups. Several perimeter sites will accommodate our 45', Class A Entegra, however the site will only fit the RV. The tow has to be parked along side or in front of the motorhome. This makes for tight street traffic in some spots after sunset when most people return to the campground. During our 6 weeks, the staff was always friendly. Wifi is pretty good, not great. $2wash/$2dry at the Laundry. There are many rally groups in and out of the campground & Clubhouse, so sometimes the park is completely full. A RV wash service cruises through the campground daily & they are reasonable. The screened pool & spa are nice. The onsite restaurant, Exit 10, has reduced its hours and days. Nearby are 2 trucks stops, Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans and Lazy Days RV Superstore for service, sales, and accessories. Sites near the front of the campground get more highway noise than those sites toward the back of the campground. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The closest Walmart (in Seffner) is not all that nice, not a SuperCenter. The Publix grocery in the same plaza is pretty nice. You will have to go into Brandon for shopping & services, Costco, Sams, Walmart Supercenter, Home Depot, Target, and tons of restaurants. We highly recommend Roux on Macdill in south Tampa. Call for reservations. Wonderful Cajun food, oysters $1/ea for brunch. Excellent shrimp & grits, etc.

Overall Rating:

Stayed 5 days in a 43" motorhome to attend SEACA Rally. We've been here more than 12 times over the past 6 years for various rallies and events. Our site, #243, is a 45' back-in (all sites are back-in), FHU, level, paved with cable and Wifi. Utilities are located approx. mid coach and work well. Sites have grass, patio and picnic tables. Interior roads are paved and extra wide making it easy for big rigs to navigate. However tow vehicle parking is in front of your rig which means you car is parallel parked along the street. This can make it a little challenging to pull-in/pullout of your site with cars across from you but doable. Check-in parking is in front of office and gives you plenty of room to unhook your vehicle. Staff at check-in is always friendly and efficient. The office is next to the large screened heated pool, Rally Center and "Exit 10" restaurant providing Food and Bar service. Extra clean showers and bathrooms are located by pool and are accessed via keypad. Tennis courts, children's playground and dog park and dog wash are in the same area. Another dog park is at the other end of CG and you can find doggie bags throughout the park. Lazydays has a mobile wash & Wax service that comes around daily with reasonable prices. Our stay has always been enjoyable and we will return. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

All sites are back-in. Ours was full hook-up with 50 amp. Cement pads; ours was not level. Sites are fairly small with barely enough room for rig and truck. Trucks had to be moved for neighbors to park and to leave. Grass and picnic table between RV's. Cable. Good wifi even though park was very full. Very nice pool and hot tub. Internal roads are Ok for big rigs but could use repaving. Great restaurant in park with wide variety of good food. Restaurant is modeled after an RV. Go early as it gets crowded. Would stay here again. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Don't miss the iconic Parksdale Farm Market - famous for their strawberries. Don't let long lines deter you; they move very fast and there is lots of seating. Lazy Days RV sales, service, and store is next door; a shuttle will take you there.

ROTTEN SMELLING WATER 1. Water smelled like smelly fish. Other RVers also commented on it. 2. OVERPRICED for the facility 3. Tree limbs too low - had to break off some just to get into our spot #19 4. Spot acclaimed to accommodate a 45', but barely fit our 43' Noticed the sewer cap was buried under overgrown grass. We barely connected to the sewer because our 43' coach couldn't back up far enough as there was a hill behind it. 5. No room for adequate parking for tow vehicle 6. Very unfriendly-face-feeding staff at check-in. No "thanks for staying" and when telling her my husband was 100% DISABLED VET...no "thank you for your service". DISRESPECTFUL! 7. Site barely long enough for my rig to connect to sewer as there is a hill behind to prevent backing up. 8. We asked to move to another site so we could use our satellite dish as a large tree was blocking the reception and told NO, even though many sites available at the time. There was something on pay-per- view my husband wanted to watch that night and their cable service did not access the PPV channel 9. NO pull throughs. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Great area near beaches, amusement parks, shopping, restaurants, biking, the list goes on. Great park including parking, lot size, pool, wifi, tv stations. The only negative is the parking for the tow vehicles. The only parking is in front of the RV on the street, so you have to move it when your neighbor is trying to park their RV. But if that is the only negative, its worth it. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park with great staff. All sites are paved. Very nice pool and rally center (which has seminars, ping pong, pool, arcade games, etc.) The on-site restaurant is cleverly decorated to look like a Class A RV. The sites are close together, but do have patio and picnic table. Just fit our 37 foot motorhome. I saw some larger motorhomes that stuck out into the street a little. The showers need longer shower curtains and wider curtains- currently too small and everything gets soaked. This would be a really great place if they would offer shuttle service to Busch Gardens- even two-three times a week for a fee. They are missing the boat by not offering their guests this service. You have the transports! Use them! We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Check in area overcrowded too many unattended cars and trailers no room for any type of RV or camper to pull in. Most picnic benches black from mildew haven't been cleaned in a long long long time No barbecue pit supplied on premises so it is BYOB. Everything else is great, friendly staff, nice pool area and restaurant. Could use a little more entertainment and restaurant bar area and outdoor music by pool. Plenty of new and used campers and RVs to look at. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall very pleased with our week-long stay. Lots are not very big and real close together, but we got a "corner lot" and enjoyed the extra grass and space. Nice location and close to Tampa for sightseeing. Only about 10 minutes to casino and Amelia Arena (Lightning hockey) within 30 minutes or so. Campground appeared clean, with trash pickup multiple times a day. Very pet friendly, but our dog which never has fleas, did have a problem while there just from walking around the park. Just not the same any more. Have camped at Lazydays for over 30 years. Used to be when a camper left the site they would come in clean the site. That never happens anymore. No more food voucher, they don't tell you till you get there. They claim they have internet but try to get it; used to be you could get it at any site - not anymore. Only in the building. Not for me with a bunch of kids playing games making all kinds of noise. Office people are great. Exit 10. Great people and great food. You get 5 stars. So sad the way things have changed. This is the second rally we have attended at Lazy Days. Hard as it is to believe, they once again attempted to overcharge us. The rally rate was supposed to be $46.99 per day which would also include coupons for two breakfasts and two dinners. Then, at the last minute they decided that they couldn't give us the food coupons along with our "reduced" rally rate ($3 off --WOW !!). To add insult to injury, they charged us $49.99 . When confronted with this, they refunded each of us the $3. How can an organization this large be so disorganized (I'm trying to be kind here) ? We were put into a 40' site. Now do the math; our rig is 37.25 feet long and our Jeep towed is about 5 feet wide. To keep from parking in the street, we had to pull so far back in our site that we are almost over the paved area of the site behind us. I guess this is why so many of the campers here park their toweds at least partially in the street. Electric, sewer (which actually had a doughnut on the sewer pipe !), and cable were OK. WI-FI very slow with too many freezes and disconnects. Wanted to buy a stone guard in their accessory store. They wanted $136 for it. I ended up buying it at Camping World -- for $103.03 plus a $35 discount for opening a credit card account. So the tip is: it's cheaper to buy elsewhere. While Lazy Days claims to offer competitive prices, they would not budge on the price. Keep in mind we have, in the past three years, purchased two Class A RVs from Lazy Days. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a large park connected with their even larger RV sales center. FHU with an asphalt pad . The sites are narrow and if you are towing your car sits in front of your RV parallel to the street. Nice pool, adequate showers, cable and so-so wifi. They have stopped passing out breakfast and lunch tickets but Cracker Barrel is just around the corner.
