62 RV Parks near Seffner, Florida
Nov 2015 - $20.00
So much potential to revive this older park and make it a gem. Too many run-down permanents currently and a couple of bad seeds that trash the shower houses and laundry. Why do they allow them to stay?!? The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Clutter around sites is out of control.
Management was extremely friendly as were most residents. No traffic noise and a beautiful river along the backside. - Full-Time Roamers
Aug 2015 - $16.00
Our site was fairly level with a concrete pad and a picnic table. The other RV sites also have a concrete pad & picnic tables. The electric was good and the other utilities placed conveniently. The park has a lot of winter residents situated around a beautiful pond with lily pads and other residents working in the area. Our site was water front with a view of the Little Manatee River where there was also a dock for fishing. The bathrooms had quite a few bugs in them and are not cleaned on a regular basis. They do not have housekeeping facilities (the manager and her husband do this). We did not use the showers. The roads are easy to navigate and some of the sites flood when it rains heavily. The park is OK - we checked out some of the other parks in the area - some were real bad. We stayed here b/c of the cost and because another park does not take dogs and another limited them to 25 lbs. We are here for about two months and got a monthly rate. There is also a small park across the street with a boat ramp. - Kerch Family

This place is called a resort. No way. It's a dump. The roads are narrow & difficult to navigate We had to parallel Park our big 5th wheel. Thank goodness someone helped my husband because there was no way I could do it. We were thinking about leaving & finding somewhere else. But once we did get in we just stayed. What Lake? It's a pond. You are supposed to muzzle a dog over 40lbs. But I saw dogs without leashes. We were close to the park across the street where we walked our dogs so we just kept them close. The only positive was that we never had to pay for the balance of our stay. Never go back. - jcpjane

Pros: Staff was very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. 3 pavilions which were large with one that was huge and screened in. Nice small lake with very nice fishing dock and canoes to rent. There were alligators in the lake. Very nice walking trails. Wide roads including within the campgrounds and easy entry and exit at park entrance. Sites are brand new, huge, level with hard packed pea gravel. Lots of trees surrounding the campground with only a few at some campsites but no real shade trees to speak of at the sites so you'll have no problem getting satellite. Sites are not close to each other. Plenty of space and room between sites. Nice roads for bicycling. Grocery, shopping and fuel just 15 minutes away. The park has been there since 2006 but the campground just completed February 2018. Two dump stations right at entrance/exit to campgrounds. There are 3 full hookup/sewer sites that have accessibility with one belonging to the camp host. Cons: road is only paved to just past lake/pavilions. After that it is dirt and gravel including the campgrounds. Lots of dust! Water pressure was adequate but low. No playground for children. We are in the dry season but there was high levels of standing water just off the gravel sites. They will have some serious flooding problems during rainy season. The 3 pavilions are the only picnic areas but there are nice picnic tables at each site. Great place to just go and relax at a very beautiful park. - LeeMedic

This is a new campground and a relatively new State Park. Our check in went smoothly, even though the staff is still getting used to the system and our site had been reserved the day before, but the person never checked in/out. Caused a little confusion, but they figured it out and we made our way to our site. The drive to the campground is a bit long, but is mostly paved, only the very last bit is hard packed dirt. The campground road is not paved, but the sites are all gravel with a patio area to the side that has a picnic table, fire pit and charcoal grill. We had no trouble backing into our site and more than enough room for our 39' fifth wheel and truck. Our site was level and we had no problems with the hookups. Not all sites are as spacious, but in general the sites are roomy. There is ample space between sites, you don't feel crowded at all, but the lack of trees makes for little to no privacy or shade. There are a couple of pull throughs on the inside of the loop that would feel more private. The park itself is large with a lot of hiking opportunities, equestrian trails and a lake for kayaking or fishing. We really appreciated how quiet it was at night and I've heard the star gazing is nice, but we had cloudy weather our two nights there. My only real complaint was the dust, we were near the main road and people don't seem to obey the speed limit, even some people driving in the campground loop went a little too fast. I've been told that paving the road and campground loop are in the plans. While we were there the campground host drove around offering firewood and ice, which was nice, we didn't have to drive up to the gate for our wood. Our AT&T phones would work outside, but not very well in the RV. We used our Verizon Mifi, with a booster, and that worked just fine. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning. - Uno Mas
