Overall the park was clean and very conveniently located to interstate 95. Also close to restaurants and food. The roads were not in very good shape however it is obviously working on them. The site was clean and level. - Deckwalker

This is quite a large park. We are in s 42 foot motorhome towing. We have to have gotten the worse site in the park. In walking the park there were several available sites with either a grassy area for your chairs and picnic table. The site we were given #25 has a small strip of sandy dirt with no room for chairs. Our awning almost touched the mobile home next to us. We are here for 3 nights. Very dissatisfied with our site needless to say. - Gusie

Great people and we have a great site. Very nice area and the park is well managed. Very close to shopping and the beach. - Michael and Shirley Engle

First, I would not pay too much attention to the "3" rating unless you are hauling a bunch of toys. We have a 40' MH and a toad. We only stayed 4 nights and were placed on a large site that used to house a trailer/Park model; among the other trailers. No RV's in sight... It was fine! Neighbors were friendly and hook-ups worked. The Wi-Fi was too far away but the Verizon data and cell was great. The location is close to Vero Beach and Ft. Pierce. Shopping abounds. They do have an area just for RV's; maybe for the monthly rentals? In any case, no complaints and we would stay here again. - Kokomo
Jul 2012 - $35.00
We have spent 2 years at Tanglewood but will never come back. We were told we could not have our boat or anything else on our lot. It's double standards when the president of the community can have his motorhome on his lot but no one else can have campers, trailers, car dollies, boats, or any thing extra on their lots. There are plenty of other places around the Vero Beach area that welcome campers and their toys. - kgkaroonie

Roadrunner RV Resort is a large campground, located a few miles inland in Fort Pierce. My experience has shown that most RV parks are located adjacent to an active railroad, an Interstate, an airport of a combination of all 3. This one is next door to the busy St Lucie County Airport. Take-offs and landing occur frequently and at all hours. The facility is well managed and the grounds well maintained. The staff does their best with check-ins, tho the office gets busy, especially during snowbird season. Speaking of snowbirds; Roadrunner must advertise in Quebec. I'd estimate that, during the winter months, 90% of the park is French speaking Canadian. They literally take over the place and are pretty insular. After mid-April, they flee back north and the campground is quiet and sparsely occupied, mostly with permanent residents. Our site was grass, with a concrete slab patio. A bit tight getting our 37' TT backed in around several trees. The bathrooms are kept clean, but can get messy in a hurry when the park is full. They have a multi-use room, which hosts meetings and events. There is a small diner on site that serves decent meals. A pitch and put golf course and a well stocked general store. Overall a very nice park, with two very distinct personalities, depending on when you stay. - Todd Hancock
Feb 2017 - $35.00
The site that was given to us was just the right size for a 37 foot motorhome; all of the facilities were good and this is very quiet campground. The only area that needs upgrading is their site allocation system; I think their computer dates back to the 80's, so much so, that the staff uses a wall-mounted board for site availability. - chester 2016

Park has a couple dozen full time residents -one of them who is no longer there , had an issue with us because of their pet. ( note to new campers) -( if you don't have a pet ) be prepared for almost every pet in the park to fertilize your site .. Back to the full time resident who is no longer there-that person -lied to the local law enforcement about us , and the management took their side -good thing we had proof that it was a lie ..Like the area that the park is located in ( proximity to the ocean ) and traffic not bizarre , management and ownership not so much .Owners and management feel that , occupants ( snow birds ). Really don't matter much, they know that if they have an issue , the management will have no problem filling the spot with some other snow bird.. Park has some issues, needs some updates, size of sites are cramped, park is in an economically depressed area - Daveharley

This park is conveniently located near Fort Pierce. We stayed here for one month. It is primarily occupied by permanent residents, but there are transient sites available. $150.00 per week. While there are no amenities, each site has its own sewer hookup. The permanent residents are friendly and helpful. We camped in a travel trailer and would definitely stay here again. - sailor323

We stayed in for a couple days passing through. Park was mostly gravel and not much in regards to landscaping. No real amenities other than the Cable TV. Park was OK for a quick stop through. - Ajessuptrek
Jul 2017 - $60.00
Broken water hook up, said they would fix when we left. Had to use my own tools to open and close the valve, fence missing in places around camp ground, gates not closed at night, not that it mattered. We did not feel safe. I would have felt more secure in a Walmart parking lot, well overpriced and you did not have any amenities. A palm tree had fallen very near our site, and should have been removed and was not, I ran over it at Night causing damage t0 my vehicle . Very poorly lighted park. I would not stay here if I were you. - sunfish1
Jan 2017 - $60.00
Don't bother to read the website or the site park that the office staff hands out. The pictures are NOT from this campground. The palm trees and grass between site simply doesn't exist. The circular arrangement for the sites are tight, poorly laid out and the all-rock site and areas around the sites are horrible. There are no amenities to call me back to this campground. No pool, part-time office staff and a campground under construction. The KOA sign is difficult to see and the entrance ca not handle big rigs with S-turn. - NJ-Montana

There are many positives and negatives about this location. As far as location it is great, sits on a marina so beautiful view, large sites and the grounds staff are fabulous. The negatives - they no longer take care of the yards, lots of weeds and ants and not mowed very often. The worst part is that they have frequent events in the empty space on the grounds next to the RV sites so if you want to camp at a fairground this would be your place. They have concerts and boat shows and carnivals and on and on... and when that happens it is loud, lots of people, lots of alcohol and difficult to enter or exit the area. The set up and take down takes days so ruins all the good points by the constant noise. They also do not have a pool or dog area so for the price you pay it is not a good value at all. This place has tons of potential but the focus is not on the RV sites at all. - Shwillia
Aug 2018 - $80.00
This is a fabulous place to stay. A bit pricey but worth it for the view of the water and the boats. The staff is extremely friendly. They occasionally have events here but they are over by 10pm and you get free admittance.
All pads are concrete and there are only 10 pads. Every area has a picnic table. There is a large amount of grass between each unit. It sits on a marina so great views. There is no enclosed pet area but lots of grass area to walk your dogs. It is a large marina that has an area that occasional holds events (fishing tournament, concert, etc) and you get free admittance. They only have the events until 10pm and no one is allowed on the side where the campers are located. The area is very well maintained. This is a new park and I think the focus is mainly on the Mariana so a lot of people bring their boats and are fishing all day. Biggest downside is the little bugs that bite you if there is not a breeze and the crazy humidity. - Shwillia

Meticulously maintained park filled with friendly people. Concrete pads and most sites have beautiful landscaping. Centrally located with easy travel to the Kennedy Space Center of pet friendly beaches in Juno. We have come to really enjoy this part of Florida. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only complaint is our site (17) was one of the smallest. Most are larger than many Florida parks. We would stay here again, hoping to get a different site. Rate reflects monthly fee. - Wildmans Clan
Dec 2018 - $68.00
We were here from October 1 to January 1. Big mistake. Negatives: At the pool area there are two restrooms. Male workers are using the bathrooms all day long! Not healthy for children who are at the pool, especially little boys. There should be an "employee only" bathroom facility. The 10 MPH speed limit is not respected by golf carts (mostly driven by workers) or by bicycles. At night bicycles do not have lights as required by "rules" and they go flying down the street. At Thanksgiving, dumpsters were overflowing for the entire week. YUCK. Pool AND Hot Tub heaters were out of service from Thanksgiving (Nov. 22) until Dec. 20. That's an entire month! No hot tub, no water aerobics classes, no swimming. UNACCEPTABLE. We had sprinklers spraying our RV the whole time we were there leaving stains on our RV. We made repeated requests to have them fixed...NOTHING DONE. Laundry area is inadequate for the number of RVs in the park. Also, plan ahead for quarters otherwise the office staff will send you to the car wash to get them!! The dog walk area is near the office area and entrance. Don't know why because it isn't close to campsites and there is nothing about it that is friendly to the doggy. It isn't enclosed. By the time the doggy gets there, he has already gone. There are no "doggy dumpsters" anywhere in the park, so after doggy performs, it's find a dumpster. NOT HANDICAPPED FRIENDLY. The entrance to the pool area is a long walk in back of the office. The only Handicapped parking is located far to the left of the building, and the parking area nearest to the pool entrance is "designated office area" parking. Pluses: Someone takes you to your site and helps you back in. Concrete pad. Good water pressure. Trees and grass well trimmed. Well lit campers are friendly. Large Canadian population. Generally quiet at night once you get used to the traffic noises from I-95 and all the big trucks. We'd NEVER return. - Puzo

This campground is the worst I've ever been to. A deposit of $250 was required. We stayed here eight weeks. When checking out I was given a form to fill out with a forwarding address where the balance of the deposit was to be returned minus the power bill. As of today I still haven't received the balance. I got through to a woman who was very rude, she told me I wouldn't be getting the balance because we checked out early. It looks like I was lied to about the deposit. About the park itself, its a crap hole. The grass when we arrived was near a foot tall and cut after we were parked and once afterward never trimmed in the eight weeks we were there. The swimming pool advertised was closed for at least six weeks of our stay. Beware of the people reading the power meter they make mistakes to their advantage. They should leave that up to the utility company. The cable advertised was not working. The sites were very close some only less than three feet apart. Not much close by. No recreation close by. Closest shopping about 8 miles. - melchione1

One of the owners is affiliated with a construction company that stores their equipment on the grounds of the campground. Every morning bright and early you can hear the roar of the trucks and equipment start up and go about their business. This campground is not quiet by any means! Very unprofessionally run at so many levels, amateur hour.....to say the least. The noseums in late afternoon and evening will carry you away! Saw many people leave and go to another campground do to the heavy bug infestation. This place was a big disappointment! Stay away. - Craig-9797

Allow long or short time stays (great for construction or contract workers). Sewage at each site. Camping ring road was rough but it had been raining for some time before we got there (tropical storm while we were there). Great price and convenient location. We bought our camper to be able to visit our grandchildren in the area. Looking forward to spending more time here. - LindaC-FL

Sites are a bit small with little privacy for each other. Showers are a joke. Fairly clean & modern but no hot water. The women's showers do not drain. - woodsboss
Mar 2016 - $29.00
Very impressed with this county campground. Even though there was a little dust along the road in front of our campsite, it was not a problem. We backed up to a canal and had full hookups and a campfire ring. The layout was fine and we got good signal coverage for our DirecTV. We used the laundry facilities that were adequate. Nothing fancy but did fine. We loved the location and went for a couple of day trips up and down the coast. We would not hesitate to return. - rwarner22

This is a very clean, immaculately kept and VERY well run gem of a park, nestled directly on the Indian River, with views that will take your breath away. Looking for a place to bring your RV and enjoy a quiet, restful, and quaint "Old Florida" type town? Pelican's Landing has it. Looking for a place to bring your boat or kayak, and leave it right at a boat slip on premise? Pelican's Landing has it. Looking for a place where you can enjoy spectacular sunrises that you'll never forget? Pelican's Landing has it. The only problem we encountered at Pelican's Landing was that we didn't want to leave! We originally booked our stay for a week.....we ended up staying for a month. If you're in the area, please don't miss this place. If you're not in the area, find a way to get there. You won't regret it. Thanks to the staff. Your hospitality was greatly appreciated. Pelican's Landing is "first class" in every way. - Ken and Debbie K
Mar 2016 - $65.00
Pelican's Landing trailer park is expensive for what it has to offer. Although the sites are wide and it is on the intercoastal. It is definitely not a 5 star. WiFi does not work; water pressure is poor; water at times has a terrible swampy smell; and cable TV offered by the park is the bare minimum.
The laundry facility only provides cold water, and the machines are not dependable. There are no camp showers. There is no pool. The noise level from the trains (they run 24/7 and frequently day & night) and garbage pickup (5:30 AM 4 times a week) is quite disturbing.
Management lacks people skills .
Now having said all that we did spend 4 seasons there as campers in our own RV. Almost all of the other campers were and are quite wonderful and we made a lot of great friends.
The camp ground became very expensive and totally unpredictable in their administration and varying policies, so we found another place that better suits our needs. - FB Hannemann
Sep 2015 - $120.00
We rented a mobile home "cabin" for 3 nights, and paid for dock tie up for 3 days . The cabins are very well furnished but the water smells awful. That rotten egg smell whenever you use the hot water is very unpleasant, and after taking a shower, you don't feel clean. We did not use the dock tie up because the stormy weather each night made me fearful my boat might get swamped. We had an automobile accident on the third day and left a day early as I wanted to have the repairs made as soon as possible. The back of my SUV was damaged and leaked whenever it rained. I asked for a refund for the third day and for the 3 days I was unable to use the dock tie up. Management said their policy was NO REFUNDS period! So, if you have a problem or an emergency, don't expect any consideration. - robert407
