First and foremost this park is a beach park. That being said, there is sand everywhere. If you LOVE the beach this park is for you. All the roads are sand. Its packed and not a problem driving around. The roads are very narrow. Drainage is not good if it rains as there are puddles everywhere including your slab which will be underwater for a while. Bottom line is if you really love the beach you won't mind paying $100 a night for a sandy, very crowded, wet stay. If you have a trailer, you better be great at backing into your site. - adcomtpa

Beautiful setting on the ocean. Uneven sand roads, cement pads. Nice raised, covered deck on site. If you want beach convenience, this is the place. Not far from beautiful St Augustine. - ChiefET
Apr 2018 - $80.00
We stayed 7 nights in a beach front site. Cost was $80/night plus 10.5% tax or $88.40/night total. We called in January to reserve for April and they were full. Called two weeks later and were thrilled that a beach front site had opened up. Lucky us! Check in was efficient. Office and maintenance staff friendly. Our amazing site offered a large, level cement pad with plenty of room for 45' plus a toad parked sideways and reasonable space between neighbors. Sites vary as they are individually owned. Ours had a raised & covered patio with picnic table plus a separate metal table for our grill and pretty stone landscaping on each side of site. CG is clean, well-managed and the location is fabulous. The beach is immediately adjacent to the park and couldn't be more beautiful. There are lots of amenities for kids and adults. Very family friendly. Trash picked up daily at site. All hook-ups worked perfectly. Clear sky for DirecTV. Good signal for Verizon cell and Mifi. A few negatives - the palm trees along the exit route inside the park need trimming (specifically up high for tall rigs). The spa had warm water but not hot as it should be and the jets didn't "jet" water. The DH said it was more of a warm tub rather than a spa. I didn't see any recycling. Entrance to CG is a little quirky. If you're a big rig towing, enter very slowly so you can decide if you want to unhook the toad before or after the gate. Before the gate can be tough because the curve may prevent you from getting straight enough to unhook. If need be, the office will gladly open the gate to allow you through and, on the other side, you'll have plenty of space to unhook. This is a popular CG (for good reason) so plan ahead and reserve early. If you call and they're full, keep trying. We enjoyed our time here and would be absolutely delighted to stay again. - GottaGoNow

Not a resort. Year round park models a lot of which were empty. Mostly snow bird homes in the winter. A lot of privately owned spots or owners where they lease out park models. Very close together. Unfriendly, unprofessional, unaccomodating staff who refused to move our site despite vacant spaces, which remained vacant. Rude to children attempting to rent athletic equipment (basketball & shuffle board). Grass was over a foot tall and went to seed. The 15 minute walk across 5 lane A1A from the front of "resort" to beach. We will stay elsewhere next time. We should have believed the reviews. - carrot53

Most lots are not like those pictured in their ads. Long time campers had nothing but complaints. The water was turned off for hours due to maintenance which residents claim happens often.
Advertise they have Wi-Fi. If you are lucky enough to connect, you can't download anything. 2mps, it is 1/2 the speed of dial up. When you mention it to them, they act like you are crazy to complain. They told me that their Wi-Fi was just for local use, but we couldn't even get email to download. Yet they charge $75/night, premium prices. - DennisDock

I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. Unprofessional and rude OWNERS and staff who behave as if you are doing them a favour by blessing them with your presence. Filthy bath house, dirty laundry room and the wifi is archaic. Total waste of time and money. Too far from the beach......literally cross 5 lanes of A1A and walk over half a mile to the beach from the front of this alleged RV park. - tea46

Overall Park is clean, only have 6 RV sites, sewer pipe overflowed every time we dumped tanks. We stayed 3 weeks electric bill was $89+, daughter and son-in-law were staying in another resort 1/2 mile away stayed an entire month their electric bill was $60. I believe our meter was off. Will not return to this park. - Robert Pulliam
Jan 2016 - $54.00
This is not an RV Resort as the name in entails; it is a cabin/trailer rental and sales. There is only a few what they call RV sites. We were in one of the two that was together when we stayed and it was a yard with hookups, no pavement or anything except a very small patio and picnic bench. We had a really hard time getting in the space and out of it because of the closeness of all the trailers (park trailers with porches and driveways). All the park trailers had porches, decks and screened rooms which take up all the real estate. There was a pool but too cold to use it.
The office personnel were friendly.
I really have nothing nice to say about this place unless you are renting or buying a park trailer and you better like your neighbors because you are really close to them. - yomamadog

Very decent park with paved pull-thru sites and round table, 4 chairs & fire ring. We stayed at site 33 which is the second pull-thru into the park. Plenty long enough for 35 ft coach & tow. We had a slight view of the very brackish "lake" that is inside the park where you can catch & release. WiFi was excellent and good for streaming. Very satellite friendly site too. Sites are a little close but not bad. Very convenient to downtown and hop on/hop off trolley comes right into park. Would definitely stay here again. - Beachside Baby
Jan 2019 - $79.00
The park is expensive because of location. There was a sign saying bathrooms would be updated in 2019. However, the bathroom near the office was actually muddy. There did not seem to be an attempt to keep it clean. If they can address this issue the park would be a better value. - CKG
Dec 2018 - $64.00
Traveling full-time in a 38-foot coach we stayed 6-nights in a site for big rigs (site #34 - Pd $63.66/night) This was our first visit here. We've stayed in over 400 RV Parks and as far as WIFI goes, this RV park places in the Top Ten! We give this park 5-Stars for the fantastic WIFI! Our AT&T phones worked great here too. This park is a small well-maintained park. The staff is very friendly and fantastic. Big coaches need a gravel pad, so we also give this RV Park a 5-star rating for the paved pad. Some RV Parks also have very narrow roads which make backing up very difficult, we found this park to have plenty of room to maneuver our coach. Some RV Parks are so dusty that one has to clean their coach after a stay, but not here, the dust on our coach was very minimal compared to many other parks. Our satellite did receive reception. Had chairs, table, and BBQ on our site. The bad...No gate! I know many people do not like gates, but the bottom line is, gates do provide extra security. This is a great place to stay and we recommend it! - JDC10

Apr 2017 - $20.00
Positives are that sites are as previously described and great location for visiting St Augustine. Check-in was easy and pleasant. The negative is the poor power amperage. We were lucky if our meter would register more than 112 volts while only pulling 3 amps and 114 volts with nothing on. We had to run the hot water heater on propane. We couldn't use the microwave unless we unhooked from power and used the generator. There were a few other rigs here without pets who were running their air conditioners all day even while they weren't here and this probably worsened the already low voltage. Wifi did not work and "we're working on it." In our rig we could connect to their wifi but not get on the internet at all and it had nothing to do with too much traffic. There is no sewer connection or dump station. All rigs face the western afternoon sun with no shade. As much as this is a great, reasonably priced location, we would not stay here again unless power and wifi are corrected. - cjca
Mar 2016 - $20.00
Our rating is based more on the convenience of this camping location to St. Augustine than on any other factors. Each site has water and 30a electric but no sewer. About half the sites are on asphalt and the rest are on bare ground which are more accessible for back-in. The campground is located at the rear of the Elk's huge parking lot which is also used for parking when the Amphitheater next door has major events. You might want to check their event schedule for the time you plan to stay because the lot is packed to capacity and so busy it is very difficult to enter or leave the grounds. As a side benefit though, you can listen to the concert from the convenience of your RV. - Born2Roam
Dec 2015 - $20.00
Stayed here to be near family for Christmas. Very accommodating staff. When we called to see if they had sites the bartender gave us a lot of information. There was only one other RV there when we arrived. The lodge is very active with a full calendar and the breakfast on Sunday morning was great. Good 30-amp service and water pressure. The camp host needs to do some litter picking. We will return. - StarlifterFE

We've camped at a lot of great Florida state parks over the years, and Anastasia certainly ranks high on the list. The park is very pretty. The location is great -- both right on the beach, and close to all the areas of interest in old St. Augustine as well as St. Augustine Beach. We stayed in the Coquina loop, which is the nearest to the beach, easily walkable -- though relatively tight campsites & maneuvering. There are a few spots which are fine for big rigs, but we saw many more smaller campers & tents. Lots of families; plenty of great activities for kids. Comparatively few bugs for the location & this time of year; perhaps being in the midst of the city is the reason? Still quiet nonetheless. Very much recommend for a stay; it will be part of our regular rotation going forward. - Spiffe
Oct 2018 - $28.00
This park is awesome! We camped in the Coquina Loop site #111. My personal opinion is this is probably the best site in the park. Very shady with plenty of room. We stayed in a 33' Travel Trailer. We had Verizon and service was good. - lclevel1
Sep 2018 - $14.00
Heavy vegetation between sites for good visual privacy. Campground treed for shade along roads and iffy for satellite reception, but good Verizon cell service. Terrific sparsely used white sand beach during our early Sept. stay. Lots of nearby seafood restaurants and plenty for tourists to see and do in St. Augustine. - Appleknocker

Jan 2019 - $62.00
Wonderful place to stay. Sites were spacious. We stayed in the newer area which had paver pads. It was near the gym and dog park which was nice. Close to downtown. The only negative is the wifi capability. We paid for faster speed and still not able to work efficiently. Had to use our hot spot which was also poor (we have ATT). Because of the bad wifi we will not come back here again. Bring wood for the fire pit and your cable hook up. There is cable for TV for extra channels. - G and T Texas
Dec 2018 - $56.00
We stayed for a month in the new section in the back of the park (Oasis). Very nicely landscaped and nice pull thru sites with paver pads. Small dog park in the center. It feels pretty crowded in the center pull thru sites, as the roads in between are pretty narrow. The outer back in sites might feel a bit roomier although they seem to be pretty close together too. The park has lots of organized activities - weekend buffet breakfasts, live music, group campfires, etc. They also offer a slight discount on downtown trolley tickets and shuttle from the park to the trolley station. With all of that said, it's a nice place to stay when visiting the St. Augustine area. - jjones5996
Dec 2018 - $56.00
The park was well maintained and clean. However, the cable was not very good. Complained at the office but they never really did anything about it. They said the problem was with our RV but we never had a problem before staying at this campground, and another camper next to us also had problems. Their response to a reported problem was not great. - 30 Year RVer

On our way to south Florida, we stayed here to visit St. Augustine. Park is next to I-95, and not far from old St Augustine. Staff was very helpful, and the showers were very clean. The owners seem to be slowly improving the sites over time. This RV park is a very convenient location if you just want to stay for a few days to explore this interesting area. - mountainmaury
Aug 2018 - $26.00
Stayed here 19 nights while waiting for closing on house we sold. Park is right off I95 but yet don't really hear any noise. The row with the transient travelers has nice, grassy, cement slabs and is clean with some trees. The other side of the park is for year round live-ins and VERY old and not so nice. Quiet park, clean and nice folks. It is owned by and adjacent to the St. Augustine Flea Market (open Saturday/Sunday). The best site is A5. Has WiFI and cable. Although further from tourist sites it is half the price of all others - great value. - Jan Gemeinhardt

My wife called this park several months before our arrival to make a reservation and informed the lady that we had a 30' class A motorhome with no slides and was told that they had a spot for us. Before arriving we purchased a new motorhome an my wife called this park and said that our new motorhome was 35' with two slides and was informed that there was no problem. When we arrived the site they gave us was the first one at the entrance. It was only 25' deep and maybe 10' wide. When I informed the lady that we would not be able to fit and would be blocking her entrance she looked at me and said "Do you want it or not."Do yourself a favor and find another park in this area. There are better parks and more caring owners around St. Augustine. - Rkoris

We truly enjoyed our stay at North Beach Camp Resort. It was close enough to St. Augustine to drive in and enjoy that lovely city. Yet it's out of the traffic and hustle and bustle. We loved walking across the highway (super simple) to the beach which was dog friendly. We also enjoyed the back of the park that had it's own little beach for sunset watching, fishing, etc. Then, there is a gate to a local restaurant that we used several times to sit on their back patio and enjoy drinks, deserts, etc. Also a very nice restaurant across the street as well. What a fun spot! Very laid back and relaxing. - Susan O

My husband and I had a lovely anniversary stay here after Hurricane Irma preempted our plans last year. There is an air-conditioned onsite laundry facility, and when a washing machine failed to start, the matter was attended to promptly. The most delightful discovery was the bath houses are air-conditioned as well! - Leigh Amiot
Aug 2018 - $72.00
This is a great area, especially if you fish. The campground has a fishing pier right on the inter-coastal! It was a 4 minute walk to the Atlantic and beach and a 4 minute walk to the inter-coastal, we were in the middle at site 119. We did not have a car with us, so being able to walk to the beach was a plus. There were also 2 restaurants as well, one on the intercoastal side (Aunt Kates, good seafood) and one on the Atlantic side (The Reef), more upscale, really great. We only rated a 9 because everything was sand, a lot of tracking in to the RV. Sites were close, but very private due to the thick foliage. - TBWard

Feb 2019 - $40.00
Our site was a reasonably level pull-thru. It easily accommodated our 37-ft Class A and our Jeep tow with lots of room left over. Power was good, sewer had no problems. TV was not great. They have a system where you keep your booster (antenna amp) off and scan TWICE -- once for cable stations and then again for OTA stations. Never seen that before but it seems to work, although Channel 7 kept losing its signal. Water was OK but pressure seemed a bit on the low side, but still usable . This park is located NEAR stores, restaurants, etc yet is bar away enough from the main highway to be peaceful and quiet. Check-in was effortless and the staff was very friendly, something that was not always true in the past. There is also a nice dog park, separated into two sections depending on the size of your pooch. Poop bags are available there for free. In spite of that, I picked up a large pile of dog crap that some inconsiderate jerk was too lazy to clean up. Some people don't deserve to have dogs ! The clubhouse is a bit cramped, but our rally group did just fine. Pretty good facilities for cooking breakfast and/or dinner for our group. We had our own key so we could lock up whenever we were finished at night. I heard that next year is the last they will be hosting rallies here, which is a shame because this park is a nice place to stay and St. Augustine is nearby and offers lots of things to do and see. NOTE: This park does not have the greatest drainage whenever there is heavy rain, so mud is a bit of bother sometimes. - w3sjkb3aam

Spaces were very roomy and level. Bathhouse was very nice. Had a great enclosed dog run area. Close to 95 exit. Also very accommodating since I arrived after hours. Would definitely stay again. - DeeB
