Nov 2019 - $45.00
Me and my wife stayed here for three days in November in our 44 foot motor coach. This is a Thousand Trail campground. Access to campground from interstate is easy. Roads inside campground are OK. Campsite was two rows from the front. Site was grass. Ground was almost level. Had a few big trees that provided some shade but not much. Electric and water was good. Must pay extra for Wifi. The park seemed OK for a short stay, but I would not want to be there much longer. There is a bigger section farther back. Not sure if that is reserved for Thousand Trail members. The campground did not have a lot of scenic value. The sites seem too close to each other. The pool area was small and average. Interstate noise was noticeable. Garbage drop is a long walk. The person at counter was friendly. I am not sure if I will be back. Will probably try others in the area. - James Frazier
Sep 2019 - $1.00
Rate reflects Thousand Trails Membership. Three Flags is our "go-to" park when traveling up or down I-75. It is ALWAYS clean, quiet, impeccably maintained and welcoming. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are two sections to the park. Front is more open, all pull-through, satellite friendly. Back offers more shade, mix of pull-thru and back-in. Interior roads in good condition. We have no trouble navigating in our 40' Class A towing. Sites are mostly open, few trees to negotiate. Our site had a concrete patio and picnic table. Ants can be a problem if it has been rainy, but nothing a little spray won't handle. In winter, there are mostly longer-term snowbirds, activities, etc. but we appreciate the ambiance of the off-season. - sunbirds
Jul 2019 - $1.00
The highlight of this campground is hands down the country feel office and the super neat and clean clubhouse. Lots of friendly staff. Nice surprise to receive an anniversary towel! Nearly all the sites are open sunny grassy pads. The back area is filled with local living. My particular site was one of the only with tree coverages. The downside is that it rains in Wildwood with thunderstorms with incredible force and lightening everyday. This causes major flooding on the entire grounds measuring in at over 8" in my site daily. The pool area was incredibly clean, yet capacity is only 20 people for a huge park. Bathrooms are super old with decor from the 60's. Clean with hot water and a downside of the lighting. Lighting is on timers so BEWARE when showering. I was blacked out mid-shower and slid my way naked in the dark to the sink area where lights came on. Super scary and dangerous. Only one bathhouse for the entire grounds. Driving back and forth to pool/dumpster/showers a must. Super quiet park except the early morning grounds crew. It is ongoing early am everyday. While having coffee be prepared for loud weed eaters/mowers/leaf blowers throwing grass into your cup. Not much to do in the area. Drove an hour to Rainbow Springs and hit Silver Springs on the way home. Pay wifi available. This is definitely a few days stop if not overnite. Lots of RVs never detached. - beholdaprincess

Oct 2019 - $47.00
Grass site fairly level, easy access to water, sewer and electric. We were advised to use a pressure regulator for water, and we did. However, it reduces water too much. Had very little water pressure and if someone was in shower the water in galley was nearly a trickle, same if someone flushed toilet. Staff was efficient and had our paperwork ready for us when we arrived. Good interior roads. No WiFi. Decent cell signal with Verizon and no trees on our site, which enabled us to use satellite. Didn't try their cable. A lot of traffic noise. - Vicki K
Jul 2019 - $1.00
Decent park for a few days stay. The park was spacious and empty. Heavy grass with open spaces. Maintenance guy was a peach. Resort staff very accommodating. The pool area is immaculate with the best hot tub! State of the art restrooms and showers. Xfinity hotspots. Modern laundry machines. Large mobile home area and locals living in rv's. Pond area looked sketchy with alligators. Rain causes incredible flooding throughout the entire park. Close to Alexander Springs and Ocala National Forest. Traffic is constant in Eustis with many one way streets. Used GPS to navigate around. Be prepared for flooding with rain. I would stay there again for an overnight stop. - beholdaprincess
Feb 2018 - $1.00
Does not have a playground. Park is split in 3 sections. We stayed in the Sun section. This is not a fenced part of the park. We were put right by a very busy road. There is laundry and really nice showers. The laundry is the cheapest I've found yet. Kids loved their rec hall. This is not a park for kids though as there is nothing for them to do. If you can adventure out that is best. There was a farmers market and flea market that we went to right across the street at the fairgrounds. It had a lot of fresh produce but also typical flea market items. Bring cash. Many of the vendors do not take cards. We found this out when we went to buy apples. Our side did no have a pool,it was across the busy road. As there is no fence around the park, I felt unsafe and did not let the kids play outside as I normally would. - TravelinFam

Jun 2019 - $25.00
This is basically a long-term and snowbird park. The site was large, and it was easy to back into. The electric was in an unusual location, next to the site next-door, not obviously for our site. The wifi was not good, at our location. This park is next door to a Camping World, and very close to both Ocala and The Villages, so any services are convenient. The park was not very full, due to the season. We paid by the week. It is a nice enough park to spend a week or two in. - Chiango
Mar 2019 - $50.00
This park met all of our basic requirements as a nice park; reasonable rate, garbage pick up, dog park, cable TV, Wi-Fi and decent sized sites. It has a nice location for golfing at The Villages courses, and has many nice restaurants in the area. We had a problem with cable reception, and the staff quickly came over, troubleshooted the issue and provided us a new cable which solved our problem. I will be definitely be back here when we come back to golf at The Villages. - pikemike
Nov 2018 - $48.00
This is our second year visiting this park. It is conveniently located to places of interest in the Ocala area. Shopping and other attractions all within 15-30 minutes of park. This park is primarily occupied by long term residents. Unfortunately the grassy areas of the campsites are run down because the campers/residents are allowed to park multiple vehicles at there sites which means they must park and drive on the grass resulting in killing the grass. This makes the sites and park less appealing to campers like us who enjoy having a nice grassy site to walk on. Park management does not have any rules in place to preserve the appearance and grassy areas of the parks sites. - Green is better

Dec 2019 - $42.00
We spent one night, so we were in the short term area on grass. Site probably would have accommodated a second rig as long as ours. We were conveniently right across from the clubhouse with bathrooms/showers and the laundry. (1.25 each for washer & dryer. Only complaint was the shower wasn't hot, closer to tepid. - Ron & Donna
Nov 2019 - $20.00
Staff was great; price was great! There are permanent residents and snowbirds here but all were welcoming. They have a pool, whirlpool, shuffleboard, bocce ball and pickleball. Community center has activities almost every day like cards, bingo, potlucks, bowling, etc. Centrally located to Ocala, The Villages and easy day trips to Gainesville, Daytona, and Kennedy Space Center. We were on a rock site but was level and grass was nearby. No picnic table or fire pit. Ocala offers many restaurants and shopping. Would stay again. - RV Sailor
Nov 2019 - $47.00
Quality park is very large with 387 sites. It is very clean and well laid out with wide streets. Camp site was level, with grass & gravel, FHU, with 50 amp service.. It also was much longer than our 40ft motorhome with toad and plenty wide. There were trees around but we were still able to get satellite service. They escort you to your campsite. No irritating speed bumps. Excellent pet facilities including excellent dog wash set up and exercise ramps. Wish there had been a picnic table. Very close to I75 and easy to locate. - don-marg

Jan 2019 - $30.00
This is not a RV resort, it is a mobile home park, there are about 10 short stay sites 4 paved uphill and 6 flat on the grass all next to the dumpsters. No free wi-fi, but pay provider available. No dog park but several dog "walks". Golf course is par 3 no tee boxes and sand (yes sand) greens (browns) that you must rake for the next player. Nice big pool and meeting hall for Bingo, beautiful shuffle board courts. Check-in was quick and friendly with escort to my site. FHU's were new and worked well, my site was under a tree so no Satellite was available. Would stay again. - Tahoetom
Mar 2016 - $40.00
Sandy lots for RVs with small yappy dogs all around you.
Wifi only in or near the office.
Received an electric bill for previous tenants, not managed well.
Couldn't get a dish TV connection. Considered buying a MH that was for sale but after several unanswered questions from the office I was approved but wasn't allowed because I have a Labrador that doesn't bark. Such a waste of time for us and the owner. Was then informed by the owner that the office play's favorites. Best to drive past this place and go to another park on 466. - Reenie
Aug 2014 - $32.00
Laundry machines were all rusty. Mostly older park models. They put daily and weekly right by road and dumpsters with no screening and a noisy pump that runs most of the time. Office and computer room so small there is not room for more than 2 people at a time. WiFi does not even work in computer room. People walking and driving through sights instead of taking the road, all the time. - mountainfan

Jan 2019 - $27.00
Used Reserve America to book. With all the fees, a $22/night fee becomes $27/night. The photos of the campsites on the website are not recent, as we saw trees at several of the sites that are not in the pictures. We mentioned this to the park host. As mentioned before, some sites are short for big rigs 40+. But overall this is a nice campground, quiet, clean, near Ocala. The sites are gravel, fairly level, all back-in with picnic tables and fire rings. The dump station is next to the exit and is easily accessible. We would stay here again. - mohocamper
Nov 2018 - $22.00
Sites are somewhat short, but fairly level. No screening between sites, but good partial shade. Good verizon service and over air TV. - MODguy
Jun 2018 - $11.00
We are on site 8 which ReserveAmerica lists as a 50 ft site. Our 40ft motorhome just barely fit. The gravel pad was level but the rest of the site was nowhere level. One restroom in center of the circle and a couple of nice picnic pavillions, this is a nice park for tents or smaller rv's. - SunnyTravelers

Apr 2019 - $50.00
We stayed for 2 weeks. Awesome (salt) pool! Pickleball 7 days a week (except when it rains). Great big laundry mat. Free ice from ice machine and drinking water! Friendly people. We got a premium site with a concrete slab since many snowbirds had gone home but all the RV sites look roomy and level. Not a ton of activities in April but it looks like they have plenty during the winter though (but no karaoke). All sorts of games and dance lessons too. Park is well kept and they have a night manager available during off hours. For a $50 deposit (cash or check only) you can get a modem for free WiFi (and will even set it up for you if you aren’t a techie). Cable is free as well. Deposit is returned to you when you return the modem. - Grianarob
Apr 2019 - $50.00
Older park that was not built for big rigs. We got one of the few concrete pads near office. 42 MH and toad barely fit. Staff is courteous and really tries to help out. They are building a new section that is more suitable for big rigs. Location is great. - BGRED3
Jan 2019 - $40.00
We recently had a very nice 2 week stay at your RV resort! The staff at Recreation Plantation was very courteous, supportive and friendly. We enjoyed all of the visitors & residents, and the amenities. We came back for an additional 3rd week. Thank you and we are returning in 2020 for a longer stay! - Karen W

Jul 2019 - $17.00
There is a good sized pool for guest's use. The park is being enlarged, so there was a lot of dust and heavy equipment in the nearby field. There is a large truck stop on one side of the park, and on the other side of that is I-75, so it was not quiet. We were in a site that was near the construction, which was better than being backed up to the trucks at the truck stop. The park has everything you need, but it is not an attractive or inviting. We paid $119 per week at this park. Winter rates are likely more. - Chiango

Overnight stay. Only had one sight available when reserving for the night. - BerylCop
Aug 2017 - $50.00
This is a good overnight location; however, the sites need some gravel. They are grass and dirt. Since it is summer the park was empty. My site was super long, probably 100 ft and was in the back away from the noise of the truck stop. - Freedom Bus

60 sites with most of them in full sun. Only 17 sites taken this weekend. You pay in full upon making the reservations. When you arrive you go directly to your site and set up. They'll come greet you there and give you the welcome packet. Water pressure was good, power was steady. WiFi is somewhat spotty. No cable TV but we had 8 channels on air. Large shaded dog run separated for small and large dogs. Lots of equestrian events on weekends, some big, some small. Huge facility with many arenas. The museum was closed for renovations. The Bistro was a plus, very good food. Sunday buffet brunch. There is a golf short game facility. A huge putting green with an 18 hole course set up on it. Practice sand bunker, chipping and pitching off mats to a lake. Driving range coming, again to water. Well worth the fees for the golf. We will be back. - DebDon
Mar 2019 - $59.00
This was our third extended stay. Our favorite things about this CG are the view and the wide sites. There are two entrances to the resort, one for everything but RVs and on the other side is the RV entrance. On arrival, there is a sign with a phone number for check-in. Having stayed before, and knowing what site we reserved, we went directly to our site. Later, someone delivered an information packet. Other than that, guests seem to be on their own. The last two times we were there, all but one of the lounge chairs by the pool had wasp nests underneath. The first time, we told someone thinking they would get rid of them. The second time they were still there. Since the first time we were there, quite a few new camp sites have been added. The pull-in sites in front now block the view of the pull-thru sites. The campground used to feel more part of the shows taking place, but not as much now. Campground guests are still invited to the viewing areas however. - lce3
Dec 2018 - $75.00
This is our second trip to Grand Oaks in as many years. Last year we stayed for only 4 days but this year we're here just short of 3 months. We love the nice large Big Rig friendly sites, full hookups, quiet beautiful scenery, equine activities taking place at the resort, etc. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! They have two good sized dog parks which are next to each other so you can have larger and smaller dogs apart from each others if you need to. They have a nice spa and club house where you can relax, have your hair cut/styled, swimming pool. They also have a very well tuned internet wireless network which seems to be very fast. I still work full time from our coach and was able to do not only my work remote controlling PCs and servers in the home office and around the world but also able to host/run/attend Skype meetings. We will definitely return again next year. - LabDad2
