Overall the park was clean and very conveniently located to interstate 95. Also close to restaurants and food. The roads were not in very good shape however it is obviously working on them. The site was clean and level. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is quite a large park. We are in s 42 foot motorhome towing. We have to have gotten the worse site in the park. In walking the park there were several available sites with either a grassy area for your chairs and picnic table. The site we were given #25 has a small strip of sandy dirt with no room for chairs. Our awning almost touched the mobile home next to us. We are here for 3 nights. Very dissatisfied with our site needless to say. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Like many parks in Florida, this Encore park is full of snowbirds who come down for the winter to escape the cold, mostly from the east coast and Canada, many French-speaking guests. We got a back-in spot between two permanent park models, with no one behind us. That was great for us, we were able to put down the ramp and unload the motorcycles without an issue, although it was a bit of a challenge getting into it with our rig - kind of a tight squeeze, but once in we were happy. Loved our neighbors! Everyone was friendly, including the gals in the office. They bent over backward to make sure we had what we needed, and even called to let us know when packages arrived. We stayed two months, and then were able to extend our stay another 9 days for "free" with the Trails Collection we purchased. It's already paid for itself twice over. Bathrooms are cleaned daily, didn't use the laundry but it seemed clean. Lots of activities, many geared toward the long-termers but everyone is welcome to join. The pool was well-used while we were there from mid-January through the end of March, with retirees attending an exercise class every morning, and volleyball some afternoons. It's a nice area with plenty of restaurants, major shopping, and the ocean within 10-12 miles. Closer to Sebastian than Vero Beach, there are grocery stores within 3 miles and 3 gas stations at the freeway exit. The freeway noise was loud some nights because of the construction, but that seemed to be due to heavy trucks needing to stop and start up again because of lane closures. Other than that we didn't really notice it, even with the windows open at night. A new pedestrian bridge was installed while we were there, it will be part of a longer rail-trail that currently exists along CR 512. Made for a nice place to get in a good walk or bike ride, and we even rode to the grocery store. We would come back. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very easy to get to. Lot sizes varied, the premium were stunningly long, the other sites were long enough for my 34' 5th wheel and my truck. Roads were in great shape, the spots were paved. Only one clubhouse with restrooms and showers, it's centrally located but can be quite a walk depending on where you are. Pool is in good shape and popular. A few different activities offered every day. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:
Park is 10 minutes away from Sebastian with plenty of dining choices. Park is 20 minutes away from Vero Beach with everything you'd need shopping and dining and a few activities. You can get to the "lagoon" within 10 minutes (basically the ocean) or you can drive across the bridge to A1A to all the beaches you'd need.

Overall Rating:
I stayed at this campground from Nov. 2017 through March 2018. It has sunny and shady sites, full hook-ups, lots of activities every day, many permanent residents and many seasonal residents. They were usually completely full in Jan, Feb, and March so you should definitely call ahead. They do have six overflow, late registration hook-up spots, though. The community is gated and the grounds are kept very nice and clean. There's shuffleboard, mini golf, laundromat, dog park, and lots of trees. One big drawback: the pine trees and their sap. Be sure to get a site away from the pine trees when they are oozing. The staff was helpful and attentive, especially for such a large campground. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is an Encore park. All sites have concrete pad but nearly every one is cracked and needing total replacement. Staff is good. Small pool and miniture golf but it needs some work. Very heavy rains caused storm draibs to clog and flooding occurred. This park was convienent to Vero Beach and served our purpose. Like other Encore patks, many permanent units and park models. Right off I 95 but road noise not disturbing. Wifi $, not free cable. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

.We bought a new RV from Lazy Days. We were perked a 2 week stay at any Encore travel park so we chose this one. The lots are barely long enough for a 40' RV with a tow or towed vehicle. We had to park our truck under our RV and was still partly on the street. The width of the lots are 9' with no patio area. When we arrived we needed to have limbs and shrubs trimmed to get backed in far enough to try to make room for the truck. The workers arrived to do the job quickly, but did not remove the debris, rather just piled it on top of the palmettos that they did not cut. We had several power surges with outages. The sewer caps are so far back, that you may need a long sewer hose to reach. Some of the lots, though paved, are caved in which would make it a challenge to put your jacks down, or level if your wheels are in a hole. They had many empty lots but we were not given a choice. We were parked near the side of the interstate and could hear the traffic with our windows shut and the AC running. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Set up portable dish easily. Small library and swapped some books. Some permanents that appear to work locally. Well kept. We

Was here for 3 months via Thousand Trails special rate $1499. That was good, the rest not so much. Water was horrible, if it wasn't off to fix bursted pipes. Staff was fine. Seasonal Campers very clickish & not friendly to new campers. Wi-fi worked at clubhouse until last month when they changed providers & then couldn't get it at all. Were not helpful in troubleshooting. Will not return for 3 months for sure. Had to go to Comcast for digital box & pay for $50 service call to connect; and then call FL power & light to create account--very expensive rates. Neighbor kept 2 large dogs tied to railings all day, never walked, pooped in yard and scared people and dogs walking by. Felt horrible for dogs. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:
We got the three-month rate through Thousand Trails, for $1500 for three months. That was a great price. The staff was pleasant.
The water at this park is horrendous. You can't drink it, or cook with it. We had to put our dogs on purified water because every time they drink the (park) water, they got sick.
The pool was never warm enough and staff refused to turn the heat up just a little bit more.
The dog park covered a nice area but it wasn't totally fenced around, so dogs could get out to the expressway if they wandered thru some brush.
We had to pay for electricity and it was very expensive through Florida Power & Lighting.
We averaged $70 per month which is more than we pay at home.
The grounds were maintain pretty well.
Would we stay here again? Probably but not for three months: two weeks tops.
(Lot spacing was nearby with some shade. Site surface was a concrete pad.) We
camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here two weeks - first week with Coast to Coast and second week with Passport America. Our site was a back in - concrete, level and fairly spacious with a concrete pad for our picnic table. Electric and septic were good and close by; good water pressure. They also have 30 and 50amp and can accommodate all size rigs. They have full time residents and welcome overnighters. They have park models for the snow birds. They do have cable with minimal stations and WiFi is through Tengo Internet. They have two rec centers and tons of activities for the guests; good size pool; shuffleboard; mini golf and horseshoes. It is family friendly but does not have a playground for children. It is also pet friendly with a huge (about an acre) fenced dog park with shade, picnic tables, small pool and water dish for the dogs. The park is conveniently located on Hwy 512 right next to I-95 and is close to Sebastian and about 1-1/2 hours from Orlando. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

It is very close to Sebastian State Park and AIA with the McLarty Treasure and Mel Fisher museums on AIA and Hwy 1. There is a walkway for bike riding or walking, and a public shooting range just down the street. Indian River Drive in Sebastian has restaurants and a place to walk along with River. It is about 1-1/2 hours from Orlando. Also, Winn Dixie and Publix are just down the street and there is a Walmart and Goodwill on Hwy 1.

The site was a little tight for our 35 ft. travel trailer. We actually started out on a different site, but moved because of the trees that blocked reception of our satelite dish. We wanted to stay a little longer, but they were so full and had a group coming in, so we couldn't stay. Several times when we tried to call the office there was no answer. When we would walk or drive to the office there was someone there. Don't know why they wouldn't answer the phone. The campground was crowded due to the snow birds. They seemed to always have activities going on. We camped at Sunshine Travel RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
