Overall, a great experience. This is a park filled with friendly folks. We came prepared for "eating in", based upon other's reviews of the area, and that worked out great. There was a nice welcome party on the Friday we arrived (a greeter "found" us 10 minutes after parking the rig), and a potluck on another. The "caboose" on the resort's train features a window-service food venue, which featured daily lunch specials, as well as very good hot dogs. The newer laundry facility (there's two of them) was spotless, and the price very reasonable. The grounds are well maintained, and spotless...although the pool lacked sufficient lounge chairs, and the water was too cool. The list of activities was sizable. On the lacking side, we would tag the water pressure and internet service as not sufficient. There are a number of different areas in this park...we were in "The Reserve", but unless you are staying 4 months or longer you will not be guaranteed a specific site. The concrete allocated to each site varies a bit. The "spotter" for our coach was not sufficiently skilled, but management (which always had a smile) did seem to listen to our complaint. The best part of this experience was the people staying here, by far one of the most welcoming RV parks we have ever experienced. You will only be able to use any kind of discount (Good Sam) if you are staying 6 nights or less. Great place for bicycles, even to get to the local (small) grocery store. If you want to use your dish, tell the front desk when making your reservation, they will do their best. Watch out for putting anything on the grass. Management was passing out "citations" when we were here. You can't even have so much as a chair leg on what I would call mowed rough and weed filled sod. This is on our return list. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Just got back from a week here. Overall the place is really nice and the people are very friendly. We got in about 8pm the first night due to a mechanical issue. Jeannie stayed in touch with us during the day. She met us at the gate, escorted us to our site and made sure we got hooked up. Even checked on us the next day. They keep the place really clean. Pool area is very nice. Showers looked good but we didn't use. Same with the laundry. The only downside for us, was that there were very few if any good restaurants/bars in Williston. You either have to drive about 20 minutes to Gainesville or about 30 minutes to Ocala to find the nice eating places. So if that's important to you, it's something to consider. The park is very quiet and well kept. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Harry's in downtown/old Ocala (on the square) is awesome. Also The Top in Gainesville has really good food as well. A neat little bar/restaurant near Williston on Hwy 27 is The Beach. About a 15 minute drive towards Ocala. Cold beer, good food and the staff is very friendly.

We attended a rally here and found the clubhouse to be a comfortable gathering place. The pool area is beautiful though the nearby snack facility was not open during our stay. I was disappointed to see such small washers in the laundry room. There was one larger, expensive one. There was no change machine and the office is closed on Sunday so I couldn't get the quarters I needed. Good place to ride a bike or walk. Picnic table was made for just 2 people. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Finding an on site hair salon was a surprise here. Williston is a small town so don't look for a WalMart nearby. The Ivy House is near the campground, has good food, and is in a lovely Victorian house with a gift shop upstairs. The town's post office is nearby.

One of the nicer RV parks we have visited. Immaculate grounds, many attractive landscaping features, large spacious lots, good wifi, asphalt roads, grass and trees throughout. Pull throughs are very long with level concrete pads with picnic table on concrete pad. In prior visits we stayed in 300 pull through section that was nice treed area but could not get satellite. This visit we wanted satellite so got a pull through in 200 section. The park has a lot of permanent residents but they are well maintained. There also many lots with attractive permanent "pre-fabricated" homes. Signage to the main gate is not very good but GPS address worked great. There is a back gate that is more convenient if going to/from Gainesville. Both gates are security gates. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for the entire month of January 2018. We were absolutely beyond satisfied with our stay. The laundry rooms, restrooms and showers were cleaned daily. The streets and sites were all clean. All the amenities were working and available. Check in was fast and staff was great. Our pull-through site was asphalt onto concrete. The site was level. Water, sewer and electric were located close to rig and an easy hookup. Cable tv was good and working and plenty of channels. Wifi was ok most of the time. Beautiful park that we have stayed several times over the years. Park has doubled in size and has a large section of park models. Our pull thru was extra long, shaded and level. Great cable and wi-fi was pretty good. Nice pool area, clubhouse, propane, exercise room, walking trail, two dog parks. Park has security gate. Renovations and updates are constantly being made. Prices has really gone up over the years but the park is a "10". We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Great stay! We have been staying here for 3 years in a row for Florida football weekends and love it. The staff is great. They escort you to your site and help you get your RV backed in. Sites are wide and clean. Some are wooded and block satellite. Love the place. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Excellent park, spotless facilities. Plenty of space between most of the sites, and they have left beautiful trees in abundance (don't expect to be able to use satellite). Excellent dog runs and disposal bins in many places. Very quiet location, pretty much all that an RV resort should be! We camped with friends, and our space 177 was probably one of the smallest in the park and very close to its next-door neighbor. That said, almost all the other spaces were generously sized. This is the first RV park we have ever stayed at. It was lovely and I fear our expectations for other parks is now set too high! Quiet, and the site was under trees. The park has many full timers and snowbirds. They seem to all be retirees. I have family that just moved to Gainesville so we will be using this park as a home base often. Large park with over 400 spaces, many are park models but all very well maintained. Staff escorts you to site and assists with parking. Site was level and large. Lots of grassy areas for walking dogs. The only negative was the trash dumpsters were not emptied frequently enough and were overflowing onto the ground. One of the best looking parks we have stayed at. Buildings and grounds are very well maintained . There are all kinds of activities. Sometimes you actually have to choose which one to attend. I give it an 8 because the WIFI is very, very poor. The water pressure is so low I used the holding tank and pump to get a good shower. The electric had a lot of power bumps, and the Florida department of health closed 2 of the facilities in the park. The rate is for a 5 month stay, We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This was our second time visiting this park. It was super clean and quiet. The spaces are well thought out with plenty of distance in between each. Considering the amount of spaces this park has it was still so quiet. They had many activities planned as this is a Snowbird stop and it was the last weekend before they start their trek home. They have added the nicest dog park beside the huge one at the entrance. The new one is very shady and very clean. They also added a stage which we saw a live band and they were outstanding. Not much to do in town but there are a few stores within a mile or so and a couple of restaurants you could walk or bike too if you don't have a vehicle. Hookups were close and no issues with electric. WiFi is available but we couldn't get it work and gave up as we just left a State Park with no Wifi so we were used to being disconnected and were just fine with that. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is 1 of my top 3 RV parks. They kept all the trees so you feel like you are camping in a state park, but they aren't impeding on your RV while parked on your site. All of the facilities at this resort are very nice. The people are friendly. Several activities. The location is ok. That is my only complaint about this park is that the town of Williston only has a grocery store and a limited number of restaurants. For everything else, you need to drive 15-25 miles to Ocala or Gainsville. It also isn't convenient if you want to spend a day at a beach. Beware; there were some site owners in the park that are NOT dog friendly and act like they own the RV park so you need to be careful where you walk your dog. One came out and confronted us because our dog broke away from my wife and chased a squirrel onto a neighbor's lawn. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Motorhome.
