Small campground of 12 sites that is part of the owners yard. The turn to enter the park comes up on you quick as the sign is small and would be difficult to see at night. All except one site is back-in. Sites are on grass, and are fairly level. No picnic table available, but there is a fire ring. There are full hook-ups that are positioned fairly well. The water pressure was low. There are quite a few ant hills. It rained while we were here but the ground stayed pretty firm. There appeared to be some long-term residents here but they were quiet, kept their areas neat but did not pick up after their dogs. We had lots of dog poop at our site. There are few amenities, no playground, no pool, no laundry, we didn’t see restrooms. A small fishing pond is available. The owner, whose house is on the property was friendly, low key; he only takes cash or checks. This is not a destination campground, but it is fine for a night or two. We camped at Palm RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is another one of those times when I just don't understand the glowing reviews and high ratings. This park is really just a place to, well, park. Except for a little fishing pond, there are no amenities. Sites are good sized with FHU. Water pressure and volume are adequate, but on the low side. No breaker at the electrical box. If you arrive at night, it is D-A-R-K. The park sign is not illuminated, so you may miss the entrance. A Marathon gas station is just up the road, and it is easy to turn around there. Pretty quiet here except when a hot rodder decides to burn up the road. Verizon works well in the area and there are few trees to interfere with satellite. Not a lot of interaction with the owner or neighbors, meaning if you want to be left alone, you can be. The entrance may be a little tricky for a big rig, but once inside the gate you should not have any problems. At the PA rate, it isn't bad. No way I'd stay here at the regular rate though. We camped at Palm RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Needing a longterm RV site after selling my home, this is the best place for me with 3 dogs. Rural and quaint, set back from the busy street, it's very nice & the owners are extremely accomodating. I couldn't ask for more! We camped at Palm RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Worthington Springs is a quaint little town with a lot of history. Short distance into town - north to Lake City or south to Alachua & Gainesville - through winding country roads past patures of cows & horses. Point of interest: Hare Krishna Temple is about 12 miles up the street.

Just the homeowners front yard in a quaint, little town, but a nice, quiet, place to stop for a day or two. We were passing through the area in our 45 foot motorhome and wanted to spend a couple of days away from all the hustle, bustle, and children who are now apparently out on spring break. This place has no pool, no playground, or anything to lure family campers to their facility, but the place is clean and the owners are friendly. There are 12 sites along the edge of the owners front yard and most are fairly level. We didn't have problems leveling, and the 50 amp was clean and stable. Water and sewer also were sufficient, and the others staying here were quiet and friendly. If you are crossing the state in this area and are looking for a quiet place to stay for a budget price, look no further. We camped at Palm RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Shopping is available in nearby Lake Butler with an IGA grocery, several convenience stores, and a NAPA store. If you need more, Walmart and other larger stores can be reached about 15 miles away in Macclenny or Alachua. At the nearby Chastain-Seay Park you can kayak or canoe the Santa Fe River or enjoy a quiet picnic along the river.

For a small park in the boondocks we were very pleasantly surprised. The RV park is actually a very large grass front yard to the owners house. Along one side of the yard (really a field) is a row of 12 RV spots. Some have trees, others do not. Some have concrete pads, others do not. The Passport America rate makes this park a real value. We would stay here again. But don't be looking for the clubhouse, pool, or Jacuzzi. :) We camped at Palm RV Park in a Motorhome.
