We brought in the New Year 2018 at Mistletoe Campground. The campsite was very quiet and clean. The hosts are friendly. Our site gave us an awesome view of the lake. We really had a great time. We used the fire pit along the lake, it was so relaxing. The perfect place to take pictures, the scenery along the lake was fabulous. Great place for bike riding and nature trail walks. We camped at Mistletoe State Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is very nice and very well maintained. The staff at the office were very nice and helpful. They had a camp host but we didn't see them, usually camp host are riding around checking on campers. The lake was low but the views were nice. We will camp at this state park again We camped at Mistletoe State Park in a Motorhome.

This was our first campsite as we started a wonderful spring trip across Canada. My husband and I questioned our sanity when we have such a great state park not far from our North Florida home. In early spring and on a week day we had our choice of sites. Site 60 was an easy level pull through over looking the lake. The volunteers working this park kept everything tidy. This would be a great park for a family reunion as the cabins are dispersed among the RV spaces. Boaters have easy access to the lake from their site. We camped at Mistletoe State Park in a Motorhome.

We camped at the left campground ( 67 thru 92) excellent sites , many right on the water. Campground, restrooms very clean, several sites very spacious and private, level, lots of trees, quiet. Power, water great, many sites have grey water dumps on them. Host's and park staff very helpful and friendly. Will definitely camp here again. We camped at Mistletoe State Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful scenery, great hiking trails, helpful and polite staff. We arrived right at dark, camp host was out on his nightly checks, saw us and escorted me around on his golf cart to show me all available sites, so that I wouldn't wander in the dark pulling a 35ft travel trailer. Picked out the site we wanted, he lead me to it and helped us get it the site. Awesome guy that helped out in the dark, "off duty" get us settled and made sure our long weekend started off to a great start. Rained a few inches the first night we were there, site drained well, no issues at all. Power and water was great, clean, clean comfort station. Absolute joy to camp here. We stay here twice a year and have been coming since the 1970s. The sites in the West loop are great with a full view of the lake and a clear shot for satellite TV dishes from the sites #79 through the #80s. We park the boat right next to the TT. Good boat ramp and the office staff is very friendly and helpful. Our favorite park! We camped at Mistletoe State Park in a Travel Trailer.

A very pretty park with lots of choices, with most sites located on two separate peninsulas, overlooking the huge lake, with 30 or 50 amp service available. (However, much to our dismay, many of the larger 50 amp 'waterfront' sites, were taken by tents and pop ups, which did not set well with me, but was totally understandable due to the excellent views afforded by the sites.) We found a nice 50 amp back in a bit higher on the ridge, with a partial view of the lake, and it suited us just fine. Since we were visiting friends in Augusta, this park was very convenient and was very well kept and maintained. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mistletoe State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice and quiet park. We stayed during the park's "soft opening" and only a small portion of the park was available. The park office had activities for the kids (geocache egg hunt, decorating baskets and a visit from a 4-H bunny group) along with some nice hiking trails. Rangers patrolled the area and everyone who stayed there were quiet and respectful. We will stay here again, no doubt. The dump station was nice and clean, one hose was missing an end, but the other was fine.

The site (52) was really tight for our 26 ft TT. I had trailed behind my husband and there was no room for my car and barely room for his truck. Site was almost level, but still needed some blocks. Water pressure at site was low. Only 30 amp service. We camped at Mistletoe State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Gathering firewood was not possible. We ended up buying some from the front office. Others had driven up and down the road scavenging where they could.

Great spot to camp. Many of the sites are by the lake, so you are just a few feet from the water. Most sites are slightly pitched or flat with small size lots. Bath houses were clean even though the park was packed. If you go during the Masters it's loud! During the day it is quiet, but at night till about 3am it's really loud. Tent campers be aware of the noise. On the plus side Augusta is 15 minutes away if you want to get out and do something. The lake is nice and good for boaters. It is very family friendly too. Any camper/RV will fit as well. We saw very nice class A's and large fifth wheels all through out the park. We camped at Mistletoe State Park in a Travel Trailer.

My first visit to this park and I have to say that it is one of the nicest state parks I have had the pleasure of visiting, We had site 29 next to the lake, view was awesome, lots of room between sites and easy back in. The only down side and its not parks fault they are trying to solve it is ants, I had some ant powder and it took care of it. I will be back again, and again. We enjoyed our stay at Mistletoe. Roomy campsites, many on the lake. Ours is a pull through not on the waterfront - maybe 30 yards from the water. Not as much hiking as I had hoped; really just the Rock Dam trail which was a pleasant walk in the woods. We camped at Mistletoe State Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park. It is a large park, and there is only one dump site which is not convenient or easy to locate. Lake is lovely - TV reception without a dish was acceptable. Quiet, large sites. Will stay here again. We camped at Mistletoe State Park in a Travel Trailer.
