Jun 2017 - $15.00
Staff very friendly and efficient. Lots of older trailers with permanent residents. Used for an overnight stopover. Worth the discounted Passport America rate. - The Petersons
Feb 2017 - $15.00
Manager was wonderful and very welcoming and helpful. The park was very very quiet at night. - ACM
Jan 2017 - $15.00
This is an RV/trail neighborhood not a park. Junk cars with dogs tied to them, cats everywhere. The place out our front window looked to be a 'hoarder'. Many of the ' RV homes' were from the 60's & 70's model year. They claim 72 sites but at least 68 of them have permanent residents. Animal poop & trash was everywhere. Sites are grass/mud with ruts and large mud holes. No wifi or cable. No toilets/showers mentioned as available. This is the first place in 22 years where we felt compelled to lock up our outer bins on the RV & leave nothing out overnight. Part of the park smelled of sewer every time I walked the dogs. This place shouldn't be approved as a Passport America park; it degrades confidence in PA as a good recommendation. So why did we stay here, only place in town near family. But never again!!! I will drive a longer distance before I would stay here again. Can not recommend this to anyone. - Peppercatt
Mar 2019 - $27.00
Short-term sites are on a horseshoe shaped gravel road at the front of the CG. The sites are a mixture of grass, pine needles and dirt. Highly recommend use of jack pads in case of rain. Utilities are good in spite of boxes that it seems someone has hit each of them at one time. If it rains, the water does flow. No open area for satellite reception and no cable but good OTA signals. WiFi is usually pretty good. - Rd yacht
Feb 2019 - $27.00
Only 1 loop in the front for over night or short-term layout is a little confusing, center of loop has pull-thrus which have more room. All under tall Georgia pines. Right now campground has a lot of mud due to recent rains. Small lakes with ducks and swans. Office closed from 12n-3p for lunch but can call to get site. Nice surprise, on Thursday nights a group of folks come to clubhouse and jam. - Jan Gemeinhardt
Nov 2018 - $27.00
Some storm related campers from the hurricane that hit recently. Busier than usual. New washer- dryers at the remodeled laundry. Nice at $1.25 load. Quite enough but the roads are close. Portable dish got signal between the trees. Will stay again and tour around Thomasville. - Libby
Oct 2015 - $27.00
Old campground with some full hookups. The sites are very, very tight. No manager on site, pay at lock box. Rate was $30; took the 10% Good Sam discount. Road to RV Park is dirt and very very dusty; our RV, bikes and toad will have to be washed after staying here. Will not return next time through area. - Teacher's Pet
Jul 2015 - $27.00
Park is very quiet even tho it is next to I-10. There was only the host and a few other campers when we camped there. The sites are open and spacious with grass & sand at each and a picnic table. The amperage & water was good. There is a lot of open space to walk. The pool is clean and well kept (had a great swim while there). The restrooms and showers clean and well kept. There is also a clubhouse with couch, chairs & TV. We would definitely come here again. - Kerch Family
Jun 2015 - $32.00
An OK old park. Clubhouse, WiFi, pool. Mostly pull through sites, shaded and level sand/grass sites. No one from owner's staff was present and payment is by honor system. - rebane
May 2019 - $31.00
Very basic self-service campground. Gravel lots. Very unlevel. Never could get my Class A level. Even the rear wheels were off the ground. Very close to I-10 and can hear the traffic. This is second time we have stayed here and this spot was worse than the last. OK for one night, but don't expect a level site for a Class A. A smaller unit might not have the problems with leveling. Nothing around. Water pressure is good, septic works and electric (50 amp) was good. Price was reasonable for what you get. - Mitch Helms
Mar 2019 - $30.00
Small basic park. Our site was not level, but OK for 1 night. Close to I-10 but not very noisy. Great WiFi... OTA TV was OK. - Mainiac
Mar 2019 - $32.00
This is a self service RV park located right off of I-10 in Lamont FL. It's no frills, but perfect for a night while traveling. Large sites, full hook ups, plenty of room to walk your pets. We have stayed here 2 years in a row. Not much in the way of restaurants, but there is a Hardees and a McDonald's. Also, have a couple of fuel stations near by. Oh and great TV reception with just our antenna. - Mhkh1522
May 2019 - $43.00
A bit of a backtrack off 10 to get to the park.
Good place for an overnighter but that would be about all.
Sites are dirt and grass so I imagine it would be a mess during a rainstorm.
Lots of full timers with a lot of dilapidated old trailers.
Lots of loose cats which drove my dogs crazy!! Also, as you can imagine the whole campground was their litter box.
They did serve a free continental breakfast which was a nice touch.
Good value compared to some of the other parks in the area. - Fran_Dawn
May 2019 - $41.00
Good Sam does it again; this campground over-rated at 8/8.5/8. Unfortunately, the campground is deficient in many areas - dirt roads in poor condition, rutted grass site which had not been mowed in some time, unappealing appearance, and overpriced. Did not originally include GS discount; had to be credited later Only saving grace was inclusion of complimentary continental breakfast. We would not stay here again. - jim swickard
Apr 2019 - $40.00
Like others have said, this is an older park that needs some upgrades. The new managers have only been in charge since the beginning of 2019, so they deserve the time to start getting things right. They were very helpful and I was pleased to stay at this park given the other options in the area are not very good. - DD Jones
Dec 2013 - $15.00
Very friendly and helpful staff. The entry is a mobile home park. Treeless sites are in view of barbed-wire prison facility and some woods. All sites are grass or gravel. The left side of the park is prone to standing water. Be sure to set-up on the "right-hand" side. The playground is minimal. Biking is only around the campground roads. I only see a couple of sites with fire rings. It's not a bad place for an overnight stay. I would have be happier with an option to pay less for 30amp service. All sites appear to have 50amp and FHP's. - Craig H
Dec 2013 - $10.00
We stayed here for a month it was 300 for 30 amp, there is propane for sale and if you need any mail you can use their address. If you have kids, it is nice to park in the front spot so you have a fire pit right there and you can send the kids to play and keep an eye on them. There is a dumpster close by if you are a freak about taking the trash out regularly. You can come in at night and pay in the morning if you happen to be really late, the guy running it is really nice. The sites are a bunch of posts in a wide open field, only a few fire pits and one picnic table. Yes, there is a prison visible from the park, found out when we heard yelling over a loudspeaker. It wasn't a big deal though. It does get swampy during rains. There is coin laundry, the pool was closed, and no restrooms. The other tenants seem to be long term. We only saw one person come and go the whole month we were there, the others were nice, although might talk your ear off if you stay around for a while. - Eric and Angi
Jul 2012 - $15.00
Rate $30.00. Passport America $15.00, CASH OR CHECK ONLY. Level grassy pull-through sites, within 100 yards of prison. Access is through the middle of a trailer park, and break out into a open field where the sites are. Stayed here two nights to visit with local friends. - StressRecess
Mar 2007 - $20.00
Very flat location, showers were very clean, well-lighted, and restrooms were clean as well. No shaded spots available, a pretty bare-bones location, but very convenient for the arts and crafts show where we exhibit. Park close to the old buildings to avoid some street noise. And, be prepared to drive over a curb to get to the sites, we couldn't locate any other way to access the area. No hosts, no one on site to assist you. No picnic tables, fire rings, no amenities at all, pull in next to the poles, plug in to water and electricity, and that's all there is. No numbers, no markers, no site indicators. Wal-Mart is only a few miles away. Don't miss Bruster's Ice Cream in front of Wal-Mart - excellent ice cream. - DebbieT in Alabama
