Something has changed at this park. We have stayed at this park more than 20 times over the last several years and have always been given one of the long pull through sites at the PA rate. However on our last stay, after making a phone reservation with the park, and them acknowledging that they were aware of our previous stays, we were advised, after we were parked, that the PA rate did not apply to sites 1 thru 7, the long pull through sites. There were no events in the area, and at least 2 of the 1-7 sites did not fill that night. In a telephone call to the park after our last stay, I was told that they "make it up as they go" depending on the business they think they might get on a given night. The rate I have posted did reflect a Good Sams discount in lieu of the PA discount. This park is nothing special, other than it is close to I-75 and easy in and out IF you have one of the 1-7 sites. Our motorhome is 45 ft long and we have a tow that we would prefer not to disconnect given that there are no nearby restaurants or other services at this park. In future passes through this area we will likely stay at one of several parks in the Perry area where there are many services and no uncertainty about what the nightly rate will be. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hello PA members! Nothing has changed at Twin Oaks, we are just working on revenue management. We welcome Passport America half-price club members, but there are limitations, depending on the season and how busy we are. Refer to the new (2020) PA book for the updates, which are: PA is accepted most days except during the months of March and October, holidays or hurricane refuge. We will place your reservation in one of our many lovely sites, ensuring that it is big enough and has the proper power for you. If we find upon your arrival that we do not have regular reservations on our limited, highly requested sites (1-7), we will happily move you to one of those if you choose. Otherwise, we feel confident that our other sites are all very nice and a bargain for you. Let us know that you are a member of PA when you make your reservation and what your site needs are and we do our best for you. PA members can stay for up to 2 days at half-price. We always take Good Sam, AAA, etc for 10% off.

We have stayed at this park twice and each was only an overnight stay. The park is nicely maintained. Our site was a good size pull through, did not have to disconnect. We had a small patio as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful, check in very easy. Twin Oaks is easily located off interstate 75. The park also had a nice pool, dog park, and play area for kids. I would definitely return again and again during travel. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have been staying here for years and have always been very satisfied with the park and have always reserved one of the sites 1 thru 7 because they are pull thru and open and we do not have to disconnect. This time when we requested one of the sites 1 thru 7 we were told that if we want one of those sites we would have to pay $34.50 because Good Sam Members are willing to pay that amount for them. I am currently sitting in a site that is buried in the trees and trying to come up with way to get out of here without having to unhook. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

We chose this park based on the great reviews, and we really, really wanted to love it. For the most part, we did. But it has two major issues. First, the good. Yes, fabulous and friendly staff. Excellent location off I-75. Hook ups were solid, water was good. Now, the problems, and I'm not sure if ownership can do anything about it. Stickers. Our little patch of grass was totally covered in stickers. Dogs couldn't walk on it, our shoes were covered in them and before we noticed, we had tracked them throughout the coach-bad on us. Painful. We noticed they were plentiful throughout the park. Is there a weed killer you could spray to stop that plant from growing? Next, whoa evening gnats. Don't know if it's a seasonal thing, don't know if the park can be sprayed, but it's something like we have never seen, and we are Florida folks. You literally cannot be outside in the evening. If this park could remedy those issues, it's a Home Run! Don't want to to be a complainer, but somebody needs to mention these issues. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thanks for posting about your experience. We're sorry you had trouble with 'stickers' but we're not sure what you're referring to exactly. Now, the gnats are famous in mid-Georgia in summer. The best thing you can do for them is place a fan outside on your patio - it just blows them away. Try us again in the fall or the spring!

Once again, Twin Oaks rates a perfect 10! I had made the online reservation and not 2 hours later, found I had to change the arrival date. I called in, and even though the young lady was working out in the park, she answered the phone quickly and politely; it wasn't like I was interrupting her at all. She hadn't yet seen my reservation and asked that I just send an email and when she got back in to the office, she'd fix me right up. So, I sent her the email, and within just a couple of hours, I had my reservation confirmation and it was for the correct date! I just love it when people do what they say!! Then, just a few days before our expected arrival, I called to change it yet again! Noooo problem. They found us a site that would fit (must have been some magic happening, 'cuz they sure filled up that night!) Within a minute of our actual arrival, we had we escorted right to our pull-thru site, which was plenty long enough for us to stay hooked up to our toad, for easy exiting the following morning. The grounds were charming as always, and the hot tub was hot and sparkling clean. There was plenty of green space for us to walk the do, and there were good tables at EVERY site. WiFi was free and reliable. No Cable available, but several over-the-air channels were available. Washers and dryers were new and all appeared to be in service. There was a well-stocked lending library and comfy seating in the lounge area. Definitely a good overnight stop over or weekend destination! We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thanks so much for the nice review! We are a small, family-owned park and it takes a lot for us and our small staff to keep things the way we like them! We so appreciate that you took the time to compliment our staff. We are always a work in progress, and have updated our shower-house as well as added new porches to our buildings so that people can feel free to gather and chat. Very soon we plan to enlarge our dog park! Come back soon! We always love to meet our guests and hear about their travel plans!

The staff was fantastic, campground well maintained, and noticed many nice 'yard art' touches. As soon as we pulled up to the registration the fellow came out to the coach with a list, asked our name, found us on the list (we had a reservation) and said follow him and he'd escort us to our site. He guided us into the pull though site and then told us to get setup first and then we could go to the registration office to register/pay. Inner roads were packed dirt/stone but not dusty. Wifi was great and my Satellite worked. Easy on-off from I-75. They accept Passport America (cash/check). Site is level and all utilities worked as advertised. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Thanks for the lovely review! We do try to get you directly to your site so make sure that you just wait a beat at the stop sign in front of our office so that we can come out and lead you to your site. We never take pre-payments, nor do we charge for cancellations, we just ask that you call to let us know that your plans have changed and we will release your site to someone else. We have an easy to use reservation form at our website. We prefer that you use that or call us to reserve a spot - even if it's only a 20 minute warning. We want to choose the best site we can for you and get you out of the drive and into your site as quickly as possible. Then just come in the office to pay after you're all set and happy!

We stopped at Twin Oaks for a night on our way to the FMCA Rally in Perry. The staff was fantastic, campground well maintained, and noticed many nice 'yard art' touched. As soon as we pulled up to the registration the fellow came out to the coach with a list, asked our name, found us on the list (we had a reservation) and said follow him and he'd escort us to our site. He guide us into the PT side and then told us to get setup first and then we could go to the registration office to register/pay. Inner roads were packed dirt/stone but not dusty. Our site (#52) was stone and was right next to the bath house that looked new from the outside. All the utilities worked well and were conveniently placed so that we fit in the PT without having to unhook our car. They are just off I-75 (exit 127), about 8 miles south of the Perry Fairgrounds exit (134). Wifi was great and Verizon signal was 3 bars and my Satellite worked. This is a great campground to visit Perry, events at the Perry Fairgrounds or just an overnight. We will stop here again when traveling through the area. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a nice review! We do hope you will stop by again soon - and bring your friends! We have a nice clubhouse available for groups of 10 rigs or more. Otherwise, we have a nice gathering room with tables, games and a big screen tv if you just want to relax with a small group or your family.

Great small park in Elko, GA. Overnight stay on the way home to Florida. We have used this CG many times traveling North-South. Easy on-off from I-75. Staff waiting for you and will escort you to site and once settled you go into office and pay. Big Rig friendly. They accept Passport America (cash/check). Our site was #6 PT FHU, level, no cable but has clear view (sites 1-7) so you can get satellite. Other sites are shaded and PT/back-in's FHU. Dog park, pool and hottub (closed for season), clubhouse has large cable TV. This is our go-to CG when traveling through this area. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.
