Nice campground with lots of trees, not commercial. No bathrooms/showers, poor to no WiFi, we had a pull-through with full hookups that was easy access. Very, very friendly and helpful staff. We liked it and will come back, just don't expect anything fancy. 15828 GA-515, Ellijay, GA 30536 is actually NE of the campground. From th The address at address go SW on GA-515 around 200 yards - you will drive over Talona Rd and then turn right on an unnamed road. Plum Nelly is on the left. The Google Maps Plus Code is JFQX+XF Ellijay, Georgia. We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cute, simple little park, nothing fancy. There are a lot of full time residents, but sites are well cared for and not trashy. Convenient to get into, people are super nice, helpful and the price is right. We have a 44 ft. MH and they were able to accommodate us easily. Not many campgrounds in this area, but would definitely come back to this one! We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Ellijay has lots of cute antique stores and great little restaurants. Try Canterbury House for Lunch and Corner Country Kitchen for breakfast or dinner.

We didn't have reservations and had to stay in an overflow lot, but we did have30 amp and water from a hose, and we're happy to have a place to stay. The park is mostly full timers, the owner or manager said they are full almost every night year round. It is older, but not bad, and very friendly. There aren't many campgrounds in this part of north GA, and it was easy on and off the main highway. There is a through road between the park and the overflow lot and the traffic zooms by, but it quieted down after dark and the highway noise wasn't too bad. We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Didn't really use the interior roads since they were full. We had to go to overflow, but it was satisfactory. Call ahead to see if they had any vacancies because manager/owner says they are full most of the year.

This campground looks nothing like the photos on their WEB site. There are lot of long term residents. There is no cable TV available and using the TV Antenna you will receive about six (6) channels (3 of which are in Spanish).

The "recreation hall" is a dump. It has a TV with cable and a collection of furniture that looks like it was scavenged from the side of the road. We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were in the area to attend our niece's wedding. We stayed 3 nights, Thursday - Saturday. Most of the park residents seemed to be permanent, but the park was quiet and we had no problems. The restrooms/showers could stand to be updated but were okay. We were on site 1A and the site was very level. Would stay here again if the need arises. We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Small privately owned park on top of a hill. GPS led us to the wrong spot, so be careful with that.

The park was clean and nicely arranged in a wooded area. There were too many trees for satellite reception on my site, but on others the trees were not so thick and it would likely work.

Nice shady location and very quiet. I've stayed here twice. If I have business in Ellijay again, I would stay here again. We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed our stay at Plum Nelly. A nice setting, quiet and clean. The park has lots of trees and shade. Bathrooms and showers are good but could stand an upgrade. We paid $125 per week. One thing we didn't like was that there were open fires almost every night and lots of smoke. Sites were grass and dirt. There is plenty to do in this beautiful area. This is a very nice part of Georgia. We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Park and facilities were nice and clean. Manager was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here for 2 months - nice shady setting with a fire pit and picnic table. Even though close to highway - it was quiet. All people in the park were friendly and it was a very nice atmosphere! I would recommend a short or long term stay here! We paid a monthly rate so the nightly rate I posted may not be accurate. We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice but rustic campground. We were there for the apple festival and all spaces were taken. They said the two weekend of the festival were the only time they were this crowded. The camp manager and the owner were there both days we were there trying to make sure everything went well for everyone. When making reservations, it is best to talk to (manager) than the owner. I will stay there again. The interior roads and pads are gravel. We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Motorhome.

We only live about 30 miles from this campground, but it is just far enough away that we can feel we have left the "rat race" behind. On the web site for Plum Nelley our 2nd motorhome is in the picture. This time we camped in our motorhome and my sister, brother-in-law and friends stayed in a cabin. We had a great time, as usual. Memorial Day is a party every year. Last year we had our motorhome, 2 pop-ups, a travel trailer and one of the cabins for the Labor Day weekend. The whole family was there, including 2 teenagers. The hostess, Tina, is wonderful, as are Bill & Deannie. We are thinking about going back for Labor Day again this year. We love to shop in the antique shops in Ellijay and go to the apple festival every year. We highly recommend this campground. It is not fancy but it's clean and the people are always nice. And they like dogs!!! We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Motorhome.

We loved this park. You are nestled on top of a bluff and can see mountains all around you. We stayed here for a month so we could do a lot of sightseeing and geocaching, so price reflects monthly rate. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The wifi was iffy at times, but the host would reboot the system anytime I ask her to. There are so many things to do and see in this area. They don't have cable TV all over the camp yet, but they are working on that. They allowed us to hook up to theirs, so that was an extra we didn't expect. If we are ever in this area again we would stay here. We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground host. Laundry facilities were very useful. The campground is on a bluff above the main highway. A dirt trail leads down to a pond and back up the other side. There seemed to be a large number of longer-term residents at one end of the park. Good value. We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Travel Trailer.
