This was our third stay here in three months. Our goto place since our daughter and grandchildren live in Valdosta. Nice level gravel sites, friendly staff, great value. There is a train that passes nearby but rarely blows a whistle. Easy access from I-75. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

About 15 minutes to most everything in Valdosta. Have to eat at the Smokin Pig. Best BBQ pulled pork I have ever eaten and have lived in the south for 30 years.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here 1 week. We had a pull through gravel site that was fairly level. Our site faced the lakes and we enjoyed watching the ducks and geese. The park is clean. The owners are nice and courteous. Our site had a tree and its branches hit the side and top of our slide. I contacted them about the problem and they came down removing the branches. I noticed there were previous comments about the trains passing. The trains didn't bother us. We never heard them once we were inside our coach. The trains passing never disturbed our sleep. During our week long stay we only heard them blow their horn one time. We would stay here again. This is a nice park! We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Hahira was the closest town to the park. It is a small town with minimal shopping. Valdosta is the approx. 15 miles away and has lots of shopping.

Unlike some of the previous reviews, we love trains and the nearby track stays pretty busy. But we think that is a good thing. The park is relatively new and sites surround a catch & release pond that is home to ducks and geese. The sites are all pull thru with full hookups in a nicely spaced layout. Some are more level than others, but nothing out of the ordinary. The quoted rate is PA and requires cash. You are close to the town of Hahira and near enough to the larger city of Valdosta. This is a great place to stop on your travels on I-75. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very good for a nights stop or stay. Nice pull throughs. Wifi, but didn't use. Not much in the near by town. The campground sign is small and doesn't stand out. We almost drove by it. Showers very nice but NO heat. The spillway was flooded. If they want you on the other side of the campground, you will have to drive through water. But very doable even for a big rig. There had been lots of rain before we got there, so would think the spillway would be dry otherwise. We would stay there again, if going by. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of trains day and early morning starting just before 5 am, and they DID blow the horn. Someone else mentioned that they didn't, but at 5 am and later they did...not so much in the afternoon. Otherwise, this is a beautiful, very immaculate RV park with good amenities. We got 19 channels of OTA TV and free wifi, but that did go in and out. Good 50 amp service, sewer and good water pressure. I liked the pull thru site 3 and it had a picnic table with privacy fences on both side of the site. I fed the geese, lol, but when I stopped and put my hand down to pet one because they were so close, it bit my arm, but I should have known better. However, it hurt, so if you have kids, don't let them try to pet the geese...my fault completely. Easy in and out from I-75. Their website shows different exits depending on whether you are south or northbound. Southbound it is exit 32 and north exit 27. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tidy, basic RV park. Good hookups and easy pull-through for overnight. No credit cards taken. No traffic noise and one train during the night. Would certainly stay again. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Park right off of I75. Site was long enough for 40ft motorhome with car attached. Quiet park. Easy in and out. Would stay again as stopover. Not many amenities in park but great for an overnight. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

The campground has two lakes with most sites near one or the other. The owner has recently expanded and has added many new sites. He is still in the process of completing this but it is a very nice and quiet park. The owner lives on site so he is available to handle any problems. The park is in the country so there is no road noise but yet is close to the interstate. A train does come by once or twice a day but we did not hear anything at night. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stopped here overnight. It's a decent park and the pull-through sites were fine for our needs. The only reason for the bad rating on service, is there was nobody in site. We had a hard time finding someone so we could pay for the night. Overall, it's a nice little park, just not many people on site. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wifi was useless despite me being parked beside a repeater. At least it looked like a repeater on top of the telephone pole. Site was just long enough for my 5er with the truck parked parallel to it. Some road noise and you hear the trains when they pass by. Utilities worked well, once the water connection thawed. No fenced dog area. If you're site is in the front, you can't walk to the larger area without getting your feet wet. Not good for walking your dog, or yourself. Worth an overnight at the PA rate, but I would NEVER pay full price for a night here. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Have stayed here twice while traveling on I75. Sites are pull through so no need to unhook the toad. We didn't use bathrooms but last stay my husband used the shower and it was clean. I will be back as it's close to I75. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Although this park is 2 miles from I75, it is two easy miles, on state or US highways, so navigation is easy. A great overnight stop....pretty, and quiet. This was a fine choice for our big rig. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Small, quiet, and a great value for full hookup pull through. Lots of open space and pond with ducks and geese. We stayed to avoid Matthew and the manager gave us extra nights even though there was a huge demand for sites from coastal units moving inland. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good value. Over-the-air TV reception was good, but limited. Verizon cell and broadband both very good. We had a pull-through site behind the office and did not have any issues. We only used the 50 amp hookup, but everything was where it belonged. Very quiet, minor train noise and no highway noise. A nice easy drive off of I-75, a great stopover place for I-75 travelers. We did not use the WiFi as we did not get the code. We camped at Cain's Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We were doing a quick overnight and did not want to unhook the car. Harvey's Market, which you pass on the way in, is very accessible for larger rigs towing. You can drive around the building with no trouble and there is even a back way out. So we were able to pick up a couple of items we needed for that night.
