Our rate was Good Sam. This park has 2 areas, one for permanent & long term stays then one for the traveler. Shady sites are grass/dirt, pretty spacious with a very nice picnic table. Road was dirt & crushed rock. Hookups were good and we got several OTA TV stations. Internet was down during our stay. The landscaping is mature & lovely. Very dated restrooms are individual rooms & relatively clean for their age. We were invited to attend the Thursday music jam session (which we went to) & dinner following (which we skipped), and it was delightful! The staff was very friendly. Access is very easy from Highway 19. We would return. - R&S

Short-term sites are on a horseshoe shaped gravel road at the front of the CG. The sites are a mixture of grass, pine needles and dirt. Highly recommend use of jack pads in case of rain. Utilities are good in spite of boxes that it seems someone has hit each of them at one time. If it rains, the water does flow. No open area for satellite reception and no cable but good OTA signals. WiFi is usually pretty good. - Rd yacht

Only 1 loop in the front for over night or short-term layout is a little confusing, center of loop has pull-thrus which have more room. All under tall Georgia pines. Right now campground has a lot of mud due to recent rains. Small lakes with ducks and swans. Office closed from 12n-3p for lunch but can call to get site. Nice surprise, on Thursday nights a group of folks come to clubhouse and jam. - Jan Gemeinhardt

Staff very friendly and efficient. Lots of older trailers with permanent residents. Used for an overnight stopover. Worth the discounted Passport America rate. - The Petersons

Manager was wonderful and very welcoming and helpful. The park was very very quiet at night. - ACM

This is an RV/trail neighborhood not a park. Junk cars with dogs tied to them, cats everywhere. The place out our front window looked to be a 'hoarder'. Many of the ' RV homes' were from the 60's & 70's model year. They claim 72 sites but at least 68 of them have permanent residents. Animal poop & trash was everywhere. Sites are grass/mud with ruts and large mud holes. No wifi or cable. No toilets/showers mentioned as available. This is the first place in 22 years where we felt compelled to lock up our outer bins on the RV & leave nothing out overnight. Part of the park smelled of sewer every time I walked the dogs. This place shouldn't be approved as a Passport America park; it degrades confidence in PA as a good recommendation. So why did we stay here, only place in town near family. But never again!!! I will drive a longer distance before I would stay here again. Can not recommend this to anyone. - Peppercatt
Mar 2007 - $20.00
Very flat location, showers were very clean, well-lighted, and restrooms were clean as well. No shaded spots available, a pretty bare-bones location, but very convenient for the arts and crafts show where we exhibit. Park close to the old buildings to avoid some street noise. And, be prepared to drive over a curb to get to the sites, we couldn't locate any other way to access the area. No hosts, no one on site to assist you. No picnic tables, fire rings, no amenities at all, pull in next to the poles, plug in to water and electricity, and that's all there is. No numbers, no markers, no site indicators. Wal-Mart is only a few miles away. Don't miss Bruster's Ice Cream in front of Wal-Mart - excellent ice cream. - DebbieT in Alabama

This is our 2nd stay here. A great place to stop for an overnight. Clean, quiet, cheap. Large, level, pull throughs. - Carolrob
Dec 2013 - $15.00
Very friendly and helpful staff. The entry is a mobile home park. Treeless sites are in view of barbed-wire prison facility and some woods. All sites are grass or gravel. The left side of the park is prone to standing water. Be sure to set-up on the "right-hand" side. The playground is minimal. Biking is only around the campground roads. I only see a couple of sites with fire rings. It's not a bad place for an overnight stay. I would have be happier with an option to pay less for 30amp service. All sites appear to have 50amp and FHP's. - Craig H
Dec 2013 - $10.00
We stayed here for a month it was 300 for 30 amp, there is propane for sale and if you need any mail you can use their address. If you have kids, it is nice to park in the front spot so you have a fire pit right there and you can send the kids to play and keep an eye on them. There is a dumpster close by if you are a freak about taking the trash out regularly. You can come in at night and pay in the morning if you happen to be really late, the guy running it is really nice. The sites are a bunch of posts in a wide open field, only a few fire pits and one picnic table. Yes, there is a prison visible from the park, found out when we heard yelling over a loudspeaker. It wasn't a big deal though. It does get swampy during rains. There is coin laundry, the pool was closed, and no restrooms. The other tenants seem to be long term. We only saw one person come and go the whole month we were there, the others were nice, although might talk your ear off if you stay around for a while. - Eric and Angi
