A nice quiet park, with easy on and off for the freeway, Bathrooms and showers were spotless as was the rest of the park. Gas and mini marts close by. We were told that the owner may be selling to a developer if they can get it re-zoned so you may want to call first. We stayed here for a week (Passport) and will stay again if it doesn't sell. 5 years of fulltiming. - wandering palms

We come to Savannah once or twice a year to enjoy the city and choose to stay here. A bit of a drive into town, but this is the best campground in the area. Very clean, excellent bathrooms, WiFi good, excellent cable selection. - AvalonDF41
Dec 2018 - $40.00
Stayed the weekend in lot 16. Rig fit nicely. Great view of the lake with a couple of tent campers between us and the lake. Friendly staff who are themselves RV'ers. Over the weekend the place filled up with travelers. They have a back area dedicated to full timers/seasonal folks. Roads are paved and easily accessible. It is a nice maintained KOA park. Will definitely be stopping in again. - Chuck and Katie
Sep 2018 - $50.00
Camp was clean and very well kept, staff was friendly and helpful. Great spot with the lake on the property. Enjoyed watching the birds in the evening. Spots typical KOA very close and little room between units. We stayed 4 nights in site 35 there was a very large Class A in the patio site next to us each night, so our view out the window and at our table was of the side of a bus, early morning diesel bus start of 3 of 4 days. It is reasonable close to Savannah and highway noise was minimal till around 6 am. Did have to move my truck to let the 44ft bus out last day. if your not in a big rig don't stay in site 35 unless you like to look at buses. - davidpas548

Nice large park of manufactured homes development for rentals to military service people for the local army base. In a small town residential neighborhood. Long and wide back-in sites with grass, table and concrete parking pad for tow vehicle. No trees so no shade but good satellite signal. Good Verizon signal, cable TV and campground Wi-Fi. Office staff friendly and helpful. Nice laundry. No pool or rec room and no common restrooms or showers. Not for family weekend camping, but great for travelers. Quiet. 30 miles to Savannah. Will stay there again. - Pepper Dan

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was nice and quiet. Spacious. Clean. The owner and the maintenance man were real nice to visit with. The sites are all pull though with full hook ups. Free Wi-Fi. There are no public restrooms-showers-laundry (owner has that reflected in the pricing to stay). I really never use those facilities anyway. My TV antenna got around 20 channels. I'm going to miss this place. I'd definitely come back! - Muncrief

Fabulous place. Driving through the marsh to get to the campground. Pull-through side. Stayed one night. Deers in the area. Saw majestic birds as well as little crabs near the marsh. Marsh smells a bit like ocean. - Isa L
Apr 2018 - $32.00
We stopped here last April for one night passing through and decided to return for a longer stay. We love the park, almost all of the sites are pull-through. They are not site specific for reserving, but once you arrive you check in, they give you your packet, you select your site and put your name on the post. It was very wet after much rain but still love the spaciousness of the sites.
It appears they took a hit from hurricane Irma since our previous stay, with many trees downed and being "cleaned up." Did not deter us or dampen our spirits. Visited the Fort which was a huge bonus! This is one of our favorites! - Mamag76

This was a pleasant park to stay at, outside Savannah. We would have liked to be closer to the city, but no other, closer campgrounds had sites available. - eduJamesE

The park is a new and growing park that when finished will be everything you want in a premium park. The check-in was quick and we were escorted to our spot, that is where things went down. When booking we were going with a another couple and requested to be by each other. On the phone we we're told our options of having a Lakeview premium spot over closer spots near the front of Park. Our friend booked first and chose the drive thru Lakeview so we picked the spot next to him. They told us on the phone that we would be a road away from the Lake and that those spots didn't have cable yet but they could set up a temporary Dish and give us a box when we checked in. Our spot that we got was a drive thru with two roads away from the Lake and our view was woods. We started to complain to the person that took us that we had paid for Lakeview. He said that we could see the Lake when we we're outside? He finally went back to the office and they said they could move us and it was a miscommunication on their part but we would be charged extra to move, plus the Dish part they didn't know what I was talking about. Being a former business owner if any of my staff told a client something wrong I certainly wouldn't charge them more. I feel with a more experienced staff this wouldn't have happened but we did enjoy the beautiful place and will come back in a couple of years. If you go have them repeat back to you what you are getting, please go and enjoy. - JanicePoolson
Jan 2019 - $54.00
Fifteen month old evening resort. Really nice sites, level, fair spacing, nice buildings, activity center, gorgeous pool, cabins, lake and friendly helpful staff. Lots of landscaping and a second new activity hall being constructed in the back sites near lake. We stayed in front section close to everything including weekend entertainment. The rumbles and shaking you feel at random times is apparently Army artillery 40 miles away. Go Army! We would stay here again! - Jitime40
Jan 2019 - $28.00
A great campground. PassPort for 2 night stay. We were here visiting family in Savannah for 2 weeks. We used to stay at Red Gate but this place is so very much nicer and cleaner. They are still working on the park but the facilities and sites are really nice. And it is closer to I95 (exit 94). We will go back here whenever we are in the area or just going thru. Our motorhome is 43 feet and the site was ample for the rig and car. - Popeye1

I live in the area and just wanted to get out for a short camping trip. I stayed here 3 nights. Sites were average size and each site has digital cable TV, internet, water, sewer, electric, and picnic table. I had to "rent" a firepit as there are none at the sites. It sounded worse than it actually was.... it's rent-free if you buy 3 or more packages of firewood at $5.00 each. I'm good with that since I needed the wood anyway. The wood packages made about 2 fires each. This campground had a workout room with gym equipment, a large swimming pool, and a convenience store with lots of snacks, drinks, and emergency camper gear (fuses, cables, etc...). It also has a large kid's play area with very nice equipment and a fenced-in dog area. There's a laundry area with a few arcade games. I was in a site right next to one of them shower buildings. The staff checked and cleaned this building every hour! Lots of long-term campers that were very friendly. Very quiet at night. This campground is about 3 miles from a Wal-Mart and many restaurants. Very easy on/off I-95. All-in-all, nice campground and I will definitely stay here again. - JoyG
Dec 2018 - $48.00
This is not a "resort". We stayed in a Class A motorhome. We made reservations ahead of time, providing the length of our rig as well as the fact we had a towed vehicle. When we arrived we were escorted to our site. At the site the employee was directing me in. Even though I have a rear view and side view cameras I still like to do a walk-around just prior to entering the campsite, specifically looking at the overhead clearance and positioning for hook-ups. When I stopped to do my walk-around the employee told me she has been "doing this for three years", coming across as being irritated that I just did not follow her directions. I then told her that this RV is my home and I have been driving this for four years. The concrete pad was barley wide enough for our motorhome. The rest of the campsite was dirt, small gravel. The site was not long enough for us to park our towed vehicle at our campsite. The site had not been cleared off (I assume that there is a gap between checking out and checking in so the site can be prepared for the next camper) and the wooden table provided was soaked and covered in moss, which made it unusable. This area of the country has high humidity. A heavy duty plastic table would be better suited for campsites. Several of the "residents" do not perform upkeep on their sites. The pull thru sites at the lower campground would have accommodated us versus the one we were assigned. There were also campers that allowed their dogs to run loose as well as left unattended tied to a tree or RV. The campground is labeled as a "Resort". The pool was dirty and the roads in the campground had many potholes. Creek Fire just a few miles away is more of a resort. It has very nice roads, well groomed campsites, the pool was heated and open and they had scheduled activities. I would not stay at this campground again. - Glamping with the Ghis

Stayed for a week. Unpleasant staff, very abrupt. Sites very close together, Peculiar layout where you face the site next to you and have to look at each other when you sit outside. Dirty muddy and unlevel. Don't stay here with a dish, almost impossible to get signal. They do have cable. Never again. Made the week miserable. - Karen Levy

One night stay but what a treasure! Having been burnt out by quasi "RV Resorts" which were actually trailer parks, this was such a pleasure. We didn't have or need a picnic table, but Picnic tables were available. Easy access from I-95, nice grassy pull through, welcoming owners, quiet grounds. Nice evening. Good WiFi, too. On our evening walk, we stopped by the clubhouse, complete with a billiard table and trading Library. I would love to be here during season. This was a fun place. - TailsAwagging
Jul 2018 - $38.00
This is a small, family-operated campground on the shores of a small lake. The facilities are very basic -- mostly pull-through spaces in a grass field. Interior roads are narrow, if you have a big rig use caution. On the plus side, the utilities appear to be newly-installed and the wifi is strong and fast. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. There is some noise from the adjacent road. - expdek570

Beautiful campsite. Not crowded at all. The lake was in front of our trailer. Beautiful views, friendly fellow campers. Quiet, except for birds singing and the crickets at night. Well kept grass and dog park. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. We took a nice morning walk on the shaded path along side the lake. Very relaxing. We will definitely come again. Wifi worked wonderful as well. Full hook up, 50 amps, 32 ft trailer with large slide out fit perfect with extra room on our site. - Jen and Doug Gartrell

Awesome little gem ! Tall, moss covered trees; sites are around a lake; the office is in a boat! We were escorted to our site - thank goodness, we would have butchered the approach. Site 42 was exactly right for us. We pulled in disconnected and relaxed! Hosts were kind and professional and really know their sites! The park had a very relaxed old-world feel to it. It is only 1/2 mile off the Interstate but there is no highway noise. Entrance is gravel, interior roads and sites are bright white sand. We would go back and spend a couple of days. - Born2RV
Sep 2018 - $32.00
As Hurricane Florence approached North Carolina, I looked for a quiet retreat to evacuate to. Sight unseen I chose Lake Harmony RV Park and I could not have made a better choice. From my initial phone conversation to departing thanking, in all of my years camping, I have never found a friendlier, more accommodating, supportive and professional staff. The park is very quiet and peaceful though less than a mile from I-95, resplendent on a small lake with plenty of shade trees, Spanish moss and just a wonderful setting. The park is gated with well maintained, hard packed gravel roads throughout offering easy access. Our beautiful site (#51) was level on hard packed sand overlooking the lake with first rate full hook-ups along with a fire ring, picnic table, Wi-Fi and cable. Bath and laundry facilities were immaculate. A "mock" shrimp boat is the park's office and offers ice, boat rentals and a few necessities as well as information on local tourist attractions. One can fish and swim in the lake. This definitely is a first class facility but what sets it apart is the great staff that made ourselves and other evacuees welcome and cared for. Easy to find off Rt. 57, the Lake Harmony RV Park sign stands out as well as their slogan "a place you'll come back to". I know we will as well as our six new evacuee friends. - OBX Sunseeker
Jun 2018 - $36.00
The owners of the campground couldn't be nicer. It wasn't crowded for a Thu nite so access to our site, 50, was easy for a big rig. If it was crowded exiting might be an issue but maybe not. Nice site overlooking the lake with good E and W. We didn't hook up sewer. Table and fire ring and cable. Unfortunately it was blazing hot and then it rained so we didn't get to enjoy the nice setting. Treed but no problems. Wifi was not strong. Access from interestate very easy. Would like to return because Darien is about 10 miles away and looks like a cute town. Good GA shrimp and lots of it at B&Js in Darien. Seemed like a local place. Skippers is a little further down the road on the water which has nice ambience. We'll try it next time. Cute town. - Team Asphalt
