4 RV Parks near Millen, Georgia
Mar 2019 - $30.00
Nice small, roomy park. We wanted to be close to the lake and chose a pull thru but we could not pull thru as our rig was to long, so we backed in and it was plenty long enough. - epperson1
Nov 2018 - $30.00
This is a large state park (at least for Georgia) with many areas and features. The campground itself is in an open grassy area, with pine trees. The sites are widely-spaced, and plenty large for our rig. They appeared to be mostly level. Most back up to woods on the exterior, with one site (#16) having an especially nice lake view. There is a playground and cornhole boards in the middle of the campground, which our kids (and us!) really appreciated. The bathhouses were clean and large. Laundry room had a folding table and sink as well as the machines. There was also a free little library in the CG, which was nice. One of the campground hosts was very welcoming and attentive. I never saw the other one leave his rig, but maybe he will on a busier weekend (we were here on weekdays.) - Milesdowntheroad
May 2018 - $13.00
Sites are on a first come first choice basis. Sites with 50 amp have a yellow stripe at top of number post. Most sites are fairly level with hard packed gravel and patio. Cell service is good, sites are tree covered. No washers /dryers are available in the campground. - Nautilus

We made reservations many months ago. On arrival, we found that the lake was bone dry for dam repairs and would likely be that way for months to come. We had planned to kayak and made other arrangements. We will come back when the repairs are complete and the lake is refilled. To bad campers with reservations could not be notified. - epperson1
Sep 2018 - $30.00
Beautiful park and lots of walking trails. No sewer, cable or internet. Staff is very helpful. Lake had been drained for repairs on dam and museum/mill being repaired. Road going in has very low branches. - Jan2018
Aug 2018 - $35.00
This was our fifth trip with our travel trailer. We've been staying mostly at Georgia State Parks, and this one has by far the cleanest facilities we've seen. Turns out, they had just renovated the bathroom and shower facilities a few months ago. We paddled on the lake and it was serene and beautiful. I've never seen cypress trees growing out of a lake and it looked out of this world. You can paddle between the trees and it was like a maze. But you won't get lost as long as you have a general sense of direction. They have warning signs of alligators, but the park ranger said that they typically avoid you. We actually saw one in a distance, so they really do exist around here! I've read that it's beautiful in the fall, so we'll definitely try to come here again in the fall. The campsites are pretty spacious, most of them face the lake which is nice. I've read in other sites that you could paddle right into the lake from your campsite, but I don't think that's the case with all sites... we went to the boat ramp. Overall our trip was great, it was a wonderful environment. - Estella
