Easy to get to from I-75. Nice sites, full hookups where we were. Gas nearby. Friendly staff. Some historical places relatively close. We were impressed and will return. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We were late arriving, our info was taped to the door as well as a couple of other campers. Pull through spots were big, level, easy in/out and well marked. Power, cable and wifi were excellent. Great overnight stop when traveling I75. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a night in transit on the way south and then for another night on our return only because it is so convenient and close to 75. We were given a site both times in the pull-throughs up front. Sites are gravel and very level with grass patches in between. WiFi worked great both times. Cable was snowy one night and did not work at all the other. It is fairly quiet for being so close to the highway. Pretty fishing pond. This campground is large but it seems only one section is used for short stay campers and the other two sections for permanent residents. No pool and the nightly fee is very high given few amenities. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly front office, gave me a choice of spots with no reservation. Chose one on the lake. Bath houses were cleaned more than once a day and are fairly new. Sites are close together but level. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. Has a small dog park, which was welcome. Many washers and dryers, $2.00 each. Pretty quiet despite proximity to highway. Goats on property were fun to watch. Enjoyed our stay! We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a good location for those traveling I-75 and need an overnight stay or for those visiting the area and want to stay longer. Cable service and Wi-Fi are fine - no problems. Most all of the sites appear to be shaded and their 'big rig' sites have ample room for slides. The sites are all gravel and fairly level. The only negative is that the water pressure is not that great - but it is adequate. The fishing pond is a nice amenity. We would stay here again. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 3 nights to see the sights in the area. The park is easy to get to & from Interstate 75 (less than a quarter mile away).

We had contacted the park well ahead of our arrival regarding the number of satellite friendly sites. We were told that "many" of their sites have a clear view of the southern sky for satellite reception. On the day of our arrival, we called to ensure of site availability. We received a recording saying there were sufficient sites available for the night but the recording recommended making a reservation to get a "premium" pull-through site. Tried to connect to a human to make the reservation but the system would not transfer the call so there was no way to make a reservation. When we arrived, we discovered their definition of "many" was different than ours. So, we asked for a satellite friendly site. We were told that wasn't possible. We were put into a in a row that had extensive tree covering. The row directly behind us were the reservation sites. They had a good chance of getting satellite reception. They didn't fill up for the three days we were there. Those sites seemed to be used for short stay travelers as turn over occurred daily. It seems they could have been put in one of those to get satellite reception but that didn't happen.

The park was built on ground that has significant elevation changes. The interior roads were paved but narrow. Even the designated two way road was not any wider than the designated one way roads. While we were there, an RV collided with a parked vehicle due in part to the encroachment of opposing vehicles parked along the road. There wasn't much space in sites to park extra vehicles. But that didn't stop people from parking extra vehicles (included ATV/golf carts).

The sites are narrow. The pull-through sites seemed to be long enough for larger coaches with their toads attached. The sites were generally level.

Two fenced designated pet areas but they were not on the map or marked so you have to stumble on them. There was sufficient area to walk a dog around the park's road system. There were no bag dispensers around the park to pick up waste.

Wi-Fi reception was very slow. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is our second time here and the cost was higher than the last time, probably due to the fair that was going on in town. This is just off of I-75 but there is very little road noise. The sites are gravel and dirt but leveling was very easy. Roads are a bit narrow but easily maneuverable in our 37 foot rig. We had a 40 footer last time and had no problem. We will stay here again. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

We've stayed here several times. Management is great. The park is clean and well maintained. Sites are level, mostly gravel, and many are shaded. Access from I-75 is excellent, close but far enough away to greatly reduce any noise. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

A decent overnight stop. Office had closed at 5:30 so we picked a spot and self-registered. Convenient to interstate and GA State Fair grounds. Some highway noise but to be expected given the location. Gravel site 2 required leveling blocks. Rate might seem high but given that the State Fair had just opened, it was a market price. Would stop here again. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice level graveled pull thru spots. Trees, pond (although algae covered). Easy on and off to I-75. Don't know about restrooms as they were far from our spot so we used our own. They had a herd of goats there on the other side of the park. It is very large. We would stay here again. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.
