Jun 2018 - $18.00
We stayed here previously about two years ago. Unfortunately, we were not as happy with this campground as before. On the plus side they are in the process of putting in new electrical that (apparently) will include 50 amp service (we only use 30 amp). Also on the plus side a couple of the near-abandoned looking TTs that were at the park last time are now gone. One the negative side, the dirt roads in the campground still need major improvement. They wanted us to use site 1, but the rain had long ago washed out a huge gouge that made it impossible to back into the site with our rig. Also, the gnats were annoying to biblical plague proportions. Even worse, we woke up in the morning with an ant infestation on our rig. It's a great location for visiting the Andersonville National Historic Site and with even a little more work has great potential, but after this experience we'll likely hold off for awhile before returning. - AF_Pilot

Very small park but it served our purpose of visiting Andersonville National Park and Cemetery. - ranic59

Campground: Andersonville City RV Park is our destination so we can visit the National POW Memorial. The RV Park is perfect for our overnight stay. There appears to be a few full time travel trailers here. The park is convenient, simple, quaint and well maintained. Pull thru site 12 is a small concrete pad large enough for our 35ft without having to unhitch our toad. Looking forward to a morning of site seeing in Andersonville. - TravellerLott
