Very nice park and well located to visit the Chickamauga & Chattanooga Battlefield Park and also visiting other sites in Chattanooga. We stayed a week which enabled us to visit all parts of the Battles. The sites were level, there was grass between them, a firepit and picnic table were provided though the table could be updted. The sites were a bit narrow to get between the hook-ups and the cement patio. Clean restrooms nice walking around the park. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Can tour the Amazon warehouse and the Volkswagen Factory. Costco in town. Be sure to go up on Lookout Mountain for the Ranger talk. There is a nice hiking trail around the mountain also to get a perspective of armies battling on the mountain. You can drive up the mountain but park in the National Park parking lot to avoid the city meters.

Large park with lots of permanent residents, the pull thru was long and the utilities where well placed. Check in was easy as was the short drive off the freeway. The interior roads are one way and narrow but we had no problem coming in or leaving. The park is well located to see Chattanooga where there is plenty to see. We would return if in the area. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

The Civil War battlefield is close and worth a visit as is Look Out Mt. Had a good tour of a small whiskey producer downtown and had a good lunch at Main Street Meats.

A very nice park if you are looking to stay in Chattanooga. Nice grounds with a nice pool. Friendly staff, and they even gave us a refund when we had to leave a day early. Sites were gravel and long enough to park our Motorhome and tow vehicle. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

We loved the Aquarium in Chattanooga and spent several hours there. It has both a river and ocean exhibit. The incline railroad up Lookout Mountain was interesting and we really enjoyed Rock City Garden.

Stayed for three nights while in the area. Staff very helpful and friendly. They charge a bit more than other places in the area plus an $3 for each person over 2. There are some permanent folks, but in expensive rigs. Very clean and worth the extra money. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park, that is just a couple miles off the highway, in a mixed area of residents and businesses. Check-in was easy and the employees were friendly and helpful. Almost every day, we saw an employee out cleaning or performing some type of maintenance. We would stay here again. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

This park is easy to reach from I-75. Mack Smith road to access the park is narrow but part of city property! Signage in front is large and clear. Our site was level with good utilities. The pool was clean and large for an RV resort. Restaurants are available about a mile north. The park is within 15-30 minutes of the battlefields, Lookout Mountain area, downtown Chattanooga. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The RV Park is located just over the Georgia state line but excellent access to the Chattanooga area. I-75 (north/south runs adjacent and I-24 (west) is about a mile away and provides excellent access to Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga. The park is very clean and well maintained. There is a little green space between each site so you are not right on top of each other. Over half the sites are filled with big rigs with plenty of run for maneuverability. Sites are level with hardly any leveling required. Good OTA, good Verizon, Good T-Mobile, good cable, good water and power. Definitely, would come back again. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Within a couple mile radius are Bass Pro, Camping World and Hamilton Place (Big Mall). Highly recommend visiting Lookout Mountain area (Rock City, Ruby Falls, Battle area), beautiful downtown Chattanooga and then walk/bike the Tennessee Riverwalk. The local craft beer is excellent!

This is a large park, sites are very close. Tree cover and open sun mixed throughout the park. Rig parking is on a good bed of gravel with grass between sites. Park is neat and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. This site had good satellite view, but all sites have cable which we didn't use. A small dog park is in the campground. A very large grassy area is also available for walking the dog. Plenty of rabbits around to keep the dog interested. The laundry is clean, plenty of machines available, price is $1.75 per load. We camped for the week so we received the weekly discount. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Lots of sights to see in Chattanooga, free bus service in town. Bus runs every 15 minutes. Some good craft brews are located in town. Lookout mountain is worth a visit however the Ruby Falls was not worth the high price of admission. Publix, Costco and Walmart all nearby.

Stayed one night. Nice sites which was level side to side, but did require blocking at the front of the trailer. Pet friendly! Nice small store in front with a bit of historical information about the actual site of the campground. Dollar General across the street, gas and food options down the street. Would definitely stay here for exploring the Chattanooga area. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Travel Trailer.

Park is clean with a nice dog park, playground, and pool area. There is also a small store in the office.
Sites are long enough but not a great deal of space between you and your neighbors. It appears half of the campground is for long term occupants.
Location is close to shopping and not to far from Ruby Falls and Rock City. It meet our needs for a one night stay. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Lovely park, lots of trees, but no problem navigating around them with our rig. Entry is paved but Interior roads are gravel as are the sites so with all the rain we got while there made for lots of puddles ~ nothing the park could do about that. Laundry room is nice but most of the machines could use a little updating. Check in was smooth and staff was very friendly. Most sites have adequate room between each other with grass and picnic table. We had very little space between our rig and our neighbors, but it rained most of the time so we didn't spend much time outdoors. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Rock City was interesting; garden areas were lovely. Rhododendrons were in gorgeous full bloom. Chattanooga National Military Park (Lookout Mountain) is definitely a must see. We hiked out to the lookout point - the view is breathtaking. The food at Portofino's (an Italian/Greek restaurant just up the road from the park) is excellent!!

Overall Rating:

First Impression: Attractive roadside presentation. Clean. Spacious. Safety: No concerns. Access: Exit 1 off I-75 (you're in Tennessee), go west on US-41 one block to traffic light, turn left, about a mile, follow signs. Narrow municipal road in poor condition, good signage, Garmin GPS is accurate. Office: Friendly staff, well-stocked store with snacks and an impressive array of RV equipment items. Credit cards accepted. Online reservations not available. My price is the Good Sam discount. Facilities: Pool, no spa, no fitness room or rec center. Restrooms and showers are impeccable, ultra-clean (score "A+"). Propane sales. Big playground. Large off-leash dog run. Campground: Not in a flood plain. Use restrooms as storm shelter. Moderately wooded. Interior roads are narrow gravel in poor condition (serious potholes) with gentle turns; no overhead obstacles. Big rig and long coach friendly. Tent areas and cabins. Sites are all nearby, level, gravel, pull-through, grass between. Pedestals at middle of site with electric 20/30/50; no meters. Adequate water pressure with good taste. Sewer pipe is 3" threaded, about 3" above ground level. Concrete patios on most sites with aging picnic tables. Fire rings. Marginal satellite views. Free cable TV. OTA TV found 33 channels. Free Wi-Fi with marginal coverage and low bandwidth. Verizon 4G at 2 bars. No recycle bins. Noise: Distant railroad, occasional jet aircraft, some traffic, no interstate noise. Bug Report (late April): no insect issues. Runners: CG roads marginal for running. Yoga: patios are plenty big enough for your mat. Conclusion: Score 8-Upscale. CG shows a Chattanooga, TN address but is actually in Georgia. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.
