My wife and I were here last year for a few days last and loved it. They had just opened in October 2017. We stayed in site#4 (April 2018) and now site#13 (here for two weeks). Both sites were back in gravel sites with full hook ups (W-S-E 20/30/50). Both came with a cement patio for the picnic table, gravel for fire pit area, cable (Direct TV) and WiFi (daily sign on for free service was required otherwise there was a charge). Rubbish pick up by staff daily and all the roads are paved and campground is pet friendly. They have pull thru and back in sites also lake front. A restaurant is in the process of being built at the lakeside area. There is a shuttle that leaves three times daily to downtown Savannah. They have a reception/store combination and outside is the pool area. There staff is more than friendly, helpful, and courteous. I can not say enough about this place and will return again when camping in this area. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

I agree with most other reviews. The good: bathrooms/showers were large and clean, laundry was clean with 6 washer/dryer stacks and took credit cards, internal roads were wide and easy to navigate, pool looked very nice although we didn't use. The not-so-good: who designed the check-in waiting area? It is a perpendicular approach to the registration office, then you have to swing around to park horizontal in front of the office, side-by-side with other rigs, then when being escorted to your site, you may have to perform a U-turn to follow the golf-cart. It can be done, but it is awkward for larger rigs, towing, especially at popular check-in times. We watched a rental Class-B unable to perform the maneuver without backing up. I would have thought a newer park would be designed with today's big rigs in mind. Also, the concrete pads are very narrow. It had rained the day before we arrived and we ended up having to step out into muddy grass because the concrete only extended a few inches beyond the body of our motorhome. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

Parking in Savannah was very inexpensive. We parked in a garage for $4 for 4-5 hours. Just try to avoid the evening rush hour traffic.

Clean and well run young campground. Lots of construction and very little cover because this is a new park. The facilities are excellent and it was a pleasant place to stay. Savannah is close by with all of the wonderful things this city has to offer. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park, nice and quiet. We had a back in site with a view of the lake and it was peaceful and relaxing. Staff was friendly. We had a concrete pad with a grassy area and a gravel area. Only downside is the gravel area for the firepit. Our dog kept laying in the gravel, getting dirty and basically bringing half the gravel in the camper with her paws. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Many campgrounds now use the word "resort" to describe their facilities. For many its a stretch. Not for Creekfire. From start to finish we could not have been happier. Efficient check in (they were ready for us) with a nice folder with information to being escorted to our site. Was a first class operation. All staff were pleasant and helpful. We paid for two extras while there, high speed WiFi for the week, total 20 bucks (we got the speed we paid for), and to take their shuttle into town, which was prompt and picked us up at our site. The pool was clean and refreshing and the hot tub was hot. How could you ask for more? Large sites and well laid out, this property has a lot of potential. We look forward to a return trip just to see how it matures as they continue to add facilities and amenities. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean park, sites are narrow and close but wasn't an issue. Patios are small and will most likely not center up with coach door, but we didn't have an issue. The buildings are beautiful as are the grounds. Great pool and outdoor area. Gated which was nice. Nice walking trail around the lake. Consistently low water pressure. Store isn't really a store, so be sure you bring what you need. Other campers mostly kept to themselves but some were super friendly. Summertime would be brutal given no shade at all. Didn't use restrooms or showers but did check them out and they we're very clean. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Savannah not too far of a drive, and cheaper to drive and park in the parking garage than to take the shuttle. River street really neat, but avoid Joe's Crab Shack restaurant.... Nice shops, super nice locals, great museums to visit, free shuttle that takes you around Savannah though accessible by walking too.

This is a new and beautiful campground. There is a spectacular walking path around the pond. The campground is gated, well maintained and quiet. Many sites are concrete, all are level. We would have rated it higher except our site was awful. Site 88 is tucked beside a bathhouse that obscures view of pond. For $68/night our picnic table and fire ring had a view of the back of the lake bath house, which is not on map. Instead of listening to the crickets and frogs we listened to the bathhouse AC and smelled Lysol. The staff should have advised us of this when we made reservations, and this site should be significantly discounted. We would return but would be careful to choose a site elsewhere. Internet slow, log in challenging if you have used tengo internet sometime in your past. At check in we were issued neon green wrist bands to wear. We didn't, nor did we see anyone else wearing them. Wrist bands, seriously??!! We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a refurbished park that's investing a lot of money in their facility, hoping to be an elite destination. Gated and well maintained with very helpful grounds people. I was in a long term site of which there are relatively few apparently. Only gravel which is OK but, just wide enough for your vehicle and about 75' long. Very narrow aprons and streets make it difficult to park without going on their grass which they insist you don't. They list a shuttle to Savannah ($15 rd trip) which was discontinued while I was there without explanation. It's $23 each way by Uber so a significant expense. The hiking trail and lake in the rear are really nice and they were building a restaurant while I was there. The pool and hot tub are super clean, and there's live music some Saturday nights. Propane tank pick-up and fill at a $2.85/gal. Overall a very nice park, but not ideal for visiting Savannah w/o the shuttle. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is a new and growing park that when finished will be everything you want in a premium park. The check-in was quick and we were escorted to our spot, that is where things went down. When booking we were going with a another couple and requested to be by each other. On the phone we we're told our options of having a Lakeview premium spot over closer spots near the front of Park. Our friend booked first and chose the drive thru Lakeview so we picked the spot next to him. They told us on the phone that we would be a road away from the Lake and that those spots didn't have cable yet but they could set up a temporary Dish and give us a box when we checked in. Our spot that we got was a drive thru with two roads away from the Lake and our view was woods. We started to complain to the person that took us that we had paid for Lakeview. He said that we could see the Lake when we we're outside? He finally went back to the office and they said they could move us and it was a miscommunication on their part but we would be charged extra to move, plus the Dish part they didn't know what I was talking about. Being a former business owner if any of my staff told a client something wrong I certainly wouldn't charge them more. I feel with a more experienced staff this wouldn't have happened but we did enjoy the beautiful place and will come back in a couple of years. If you go have them repeat back to you what you are getting, please go and enjoy. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

Fifteen month old evening resort. Really nice sites, level, fair spacing, nice buildings, activity center, gorgeous pool, cabins, lake and friendly helpful staff. Lots of landscaping and a second new activity hall being constructed in the back sites near lake. We stayed in front section close to everything including weekend entertainment. The rumbles and shaking you feel at random times is apparently Army artillery 40 miles away. Go Army! We would stay here again! We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

A great campground. PassPort for 2 night stay. We were here visiting family in Savannah for 2 weeks. We used to stay at Red Gate but this place is so very much nicer and cleaner. They are still working on the park but the facilities and sites are really nice. And it is closer to I95 (exit 94). We will go back here whenever we are in the area or just going thru. Our motorhome is 43 feet and the site was ample for the rig and car. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

Great location off highway. Friendly staff. Lovely amenities, including tennis and pickleball. Nice new washers and dryers. Pretty lake and walking paths. Our site was a roomy, level pull through. Only drawback: no cable TV. Too expensive for a one night stay, but this would be a great place for an extended vacation. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

This is the closet park to a resort we have been to. It is only a few years old and all the amenities are first class. The lounge chairs around the pool are all cushioned as well are the chairs. The roads are wide and easy to maneuver. The sites are gravel and concrete are very spacious. The WiFi is poor as well as the cable. The registration office is first class and the staff is friendly and helpful. Just a short distance to I95. We will definitely We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

It is a beautiful park and well worth staying. We stayed in site 75. Everything was great and will stay again. You do get wifi but only basic, understandably. We enjoyed the stay but we do have 1 disappointment- it was hardly any basic tv channels and couldn't get regular stations except ABC. We did try the direct tv but it took a while to get .on due to their satellite problems. A lot of people would have been happy to have ESPN- which is part the basic direct channel package or even pay for if it was an option.(It was college play off weekend.) they have had problems with the TV issues for a while and are trying to get it straight. I hope they do. This is a upscale campground and it is beautiful and they have more plans soon. Can't wait to come back! We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.
