1 RV Park near Waycross, Georgia
Feb 2019 - $30.00
Stayed for 3 nights on our way to Ocala. Beautiful park with lake, hiking and golf. Stayed on site 5 right on the lake. Pretty open so had good satellite and cell service. Other sites were pretty wooded. Golf course was in excellent condition and quite reasonably priced. Waycross is convenient with all the stores you could need. The lodge and restaurant are under renovation and the restaurant is closed. - Crottys
Jan 2019 - $30.00
Park has large spots with water and electric. Clean restrooms, showers, and laundry. Big rig friendly in some spots with shaded spots, paved road, and level spots. Cell coverage was decent. Over the air TV is limited and people with satellite were having problems due to the tree coverage. Several lake side spots with beautiful views. On site dump facilities. Park has lots of walking trails with boat ramp access. Very well maintained park. - Chuck and Katie
Apr 2018 - $30.00
We stayed for 3 nights from April 17 to April 20, 2018. The weather was awesome with clear skies and a persistent NW wind that kept things wonderful. The views from our site included the entire lake and not much else - it was perfect. The park is small and some of the turns are a bit tight but we made it around without issue (Outback 328rl). There are lots of hiking trails and kayaks are available for rental. The entire park is large and has an excellent area to hold something like a church youth mission trip in an area that has multiple cabins, a cook house, and even a place for church services. There are two bathrooms in the camping area proper - one older and one newer. The newer one is very nice. The older one is older but it has hot water, it is clean and the toilets work!! Hey - you are camping - who cares if the bathroom is older. There is an excellent dog park near the ranger station that has areas for both large and small dogs with plenty of fresh water and toys provided. We did a fair amount of geo-caching on some of the trails but someone before us had done an impressive job of really hiding the caches well. be prepared to really look and bring a poking stick!! We will come back. - Sam Thurmond
