Have you ever seen the movie "The Hills Have Eyes"? I yes, then welcome aboard! The front of the campground looked really bad. Lots of permanents that don't take care of their sites. The campground host was a nice guy but looked scary. He took us around back to a big field that has two full hookup pull-through sites. I could see it being a problem if it was really wet. We were in site #16. It wasn't bad at all. Site was pretty level. I would have left if we had to park in the front campsites. Charged us $5.00 extra for 50 amp, no problem there. Had good satellite reception, 5 or 6 local stations over the air. We didn't use the laundry or bathrooms. For an overnighter it works. VERY easy on/off the interstate. Beware of the host's dog. My wife said it was vicious and was trying to get to her from the host's front door. He let's it run wild in the park. Best to look elsewhere. - TermiteDave

Great for an overnight stop. Owner very friendly and looking for dependable employees. There are showers with bath and dressing area however we did not use them. Two washers and two dryers. We travelled with another rig and had pull thru's. We would stay again. - RayMars

I almost didn't stop over here because of the bad reviews on here. But, I said, it is just 1 night, we will just suffer through it. HOWEVER, it was freaking nice. I don't get it. There is a small slightly congested area for long term RVs BUT if you are just staying a few nights you go to this really nice open area. Go through the congested long term sites to the field with the nice spacious pull through sites. You might not see an attendant right away but if you called in advance just go ahead and find a site, park, and hook up. They will be around eventually. It is very peaceful, clean, and we decided to stay a 2nd night! Now there's no playground, wifi, or cable but if you want that then go find a resort. If you want a clean safe place to stay a few days, definitely stop here. The website is old and no longer updated. The current info is on the Passport America site. The phone number on the website is still accurate. We also fished in the pond and caught some Bass. I would stay here again. We are a married couple traveling with 2 teenagers, and 2 dogs. - Jade Beavers

Weird place. Looks like it's been closed for 20 years. The host, appears from the back residence, charged me $38 and the only other camper there (a 5th wheel) $32. Said that I used more electricity than a 5th wheel. Bath house was ancient, but fairly clean. Watch out for the big snake by the old ice house. - Adventurer37

This is not a bad campground. It's just way out of line on pricing since you get zero amenities. I was given one price on the telephone, yet on arrival the price was increased and I was told that only an estimate is given on the phone and a "final price" is given when you arrive. I wasn't told that on the phone. Others who arrived and used the same services were charged $10.00 less than me. And, another in a year newer coach than mine were charged even more than I was. The owner has you between a rock and a hard place if you need to be in the area. He just doesn't seem to realize that a full campground at one rate would be a lot more profitable than an empty campground at an extreme rate. The sites are worth maybe $15.00 to $20.00 nightly, not the high rate I was charged. - TaylorShopping

Family run campground. Nice size sites on grass/gravel. Large field for walking. Seasonal sites neat and nothing unsightly. Owners friendly and came by to check on us. Bathroom, shower and laundry clean. Pavilion being built. Large field to walk around. Relaxing place to stay. - TravelingParkers
