Overall Rating:

The park was located among the pines on the Payette River with scenic mountains in the background. A boat launch connects guests directly to the river. With many RV sites, check-in was efficient and friendly. We appreciated the escort to our site-it was helpful. There are only a few short-term RV sites available; most of the park was long-term seasonal residents. We stayed 2 nights but this appeared to be a socially active community with organized events and a full schedule of hobby classes. Utilities were reliable and convenient with a choice of two sewer hook-ups for each site. Trash cans were close and regularly emptied. Cable TV was excellent quality, but only for 8 channels. While CG literature openly warned about shortcomings of the Wi-Fi system, we found it more than adequate. Our Verizon hot spot connected easily as a back-up. Dirt roads service 120 gravel sites with varied locations and orientations. Site 88 was a pull-through along the river with a generally east/west orientation. It required some leveling and was one of the closest fits we've experienced. At the point where our passenger side slide-out stopped, there was about 5 feet to the neighbor's sewer. The concrete patio was small, cramped and sported an undersized picnic table. If you're looking for a place to overnight with no nonsense, simple fare-this CG will meet your needs. It takes, however, advance reservations to save a space! We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you opt to visit the historic Finnish village of Roseberry (in nearby Donnelly) be sure to check dates/times of operation before making the trip. As a volunteer operated attraction, the schedule is restricted.

An extremely nice RV park, right on the Payette River, with 30 & 50 Amp, Shady, Level sites, with all services, even good quality Internet. The only bad thing is the sites are really crowded together, but every time we have stayed here, they have very nice, congenial people who stay there that don't mind you walking into their area to get stuff out of your RV's bays. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Motorhome.

When we made reservations we said we wanted satellite capability and they said was not a problem. Then when we got there they said we might be able to get it. Which we were by jogging around in space until we could. But I felt they had been untruthful when we made reservation about the ability to get it. The park was a bit tight on spaces as well as navigating the park in and out. On the plus side utilities worked well and it was easy to level. Probably would not go here again. Also lots of overgrown grass/weeds. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This campground is by the river. The river is so shallow that you can actually walk in it. Craft class is offered on site. There are a lot of trees and the camp sites are close together and the roads are narrow. Sites are not leveled and more dust than gravel. The Strand, a walking trail, was a nice nature hike. Getting wifi signal at our rig was next to impossible and the campground rule prohibits the use of any wifi signal booster. Wifi is available in the rec room by the office. There are two small laundry rooms and costs $1 per load of washing and 25 cents for 20 minutes drying time. Our T-Mobile cell had very good reception. We won't be coming back as this is a very dusty campground. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stay for 3 months a year at $330.00 per month plus electric. The park has many activities during the summer and is located on the Payette river and 5 minutes from Cascade Lake. The managers are great and go out of their way to make your stay fun and entertaining. The sites are great with wifi and cable. We had no problem with our satellite dish. They have secured boat parking and storage units if needed. You can even make your own totem pole. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Cascade within walking distance and McCall is 45 minutes away. McCall is a great tourist town and has a very large lake and Cascade Lake is 5 minutes away. It is about 15 miles long and great fishing. You can also fish the Payette River.

Overall Rating:

Park is on the left heading into Cascade, just a mile south of the centre of town. Didn't have a reservation, but no problem, a lot of seasonal people had already left.

We were given site on Payette River. Site are a bit close together but with no neighbours this was not a problem.

Didn't use washroom/showers but did use the laundry - a real bargain: $1 to wash/$0.50 for 40 minutes of drying.

Sites were easy to navigate inside park - gravel roads.

Wifi was great - not a lot of people in the park so watched Netflix movie uninterrupted. I imagine, in the heat of summer with a full park, this wouldn't be possible.

Staff was excellent.

We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Not much to do in Cascade. Did a walkabout in a few minutes. Stopped for coffee.

Park is a haven for wood carvers - they run classes in the park. Lots of totem poles around the park.

We have returned to this campground for three years and will be returning in the spring of 2017 and will keep our 5th wheel there for the summer. Close by to Cascade Lake which is a large lake full of perch and smallies.

We pay by the month and for 2016 it was $325.00 + electric. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Small town with several places to eat. In a valley surrounded by mountains. Two lane road from Boise, Idaho but easy to navigate. Wonderful staff and owner. Lots of seasonal campers due to it being so nice. right on the Payette river.

Spots close together. The guy next to us, his slide out came awfully close. Mosquitoes. Seem to be more of a resort than campgrounds. Cable TV, but the wifi was no good, had to go to clubhouse which was closed so sat outside and got ate up by bugs. Mainly stayed here to get wifi for work, would have been better just to boondock and go to McDonalds. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Rate reflects monthly rate- This is our third time staying in this park, we spent the summer of 2002 and 2009 here and had planed to stay the summer this time but we left after staying less then a month. the park showers are run down with what looked like mold in them, the sites have weeds growing in the parking area. We needed a LP tank filled and the staff acted put out and bothered that we requested this service. ( if you don't want to fill LP tanks the don't offer it). In 02 and 09 the staff was great, this time they just were not pleasant to deal with. We are not sure if we would stay here again! We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Echo all other reviews. We stayed 6 days, would stay again. We had 45' motorhome and got lovely pull through site. Looked out on river, beautiful. Very quiet. Mangers do a lot to make it home; ice cream socials, dominos, pot lucks, etc. Wood carving classes. Wonderful recreation hall. Only negative for a 10: no pool. Great place for an extended stay. Lots of RV'ers seem to come and stay the summer. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for two weeks on our way north for the summer. Nice well kept park with totum poles carved by guests all thru the park. Office people very nice and grounds well kept. Lots of mosquitoes in sites away from the water. Great free WiFi.Great Verizon coverage also. Friendly people working the grounds there. Nice small town atmosphere here. Would definitely stay here again when passing thru or stay the summer, fish and use your UTV on the hills. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Absolutely loved this campground. The site we were booked into had a water problem so they moved us to a spot that had a wonderful view of the river. Sites were on the narrow side with trees that were a bit close to the top of our 5th wheel so we backed out of a pull through site, but this wasn't a problem. Bathrooms were spotless and the grounds were well maintained. They have a program for wood carving and we were given a very informative talk about the program and the carving of the totem poles. Wish we could have stayed longer. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at Arrowhead RV Resort a bunch of times over the years. We have camped in our fifth wheel and we have also rented their cabins. This resort is very clean and the hosts are always very nice. The restrooms and showers are always very clean. The RV spots on the river are very nice. However, they are a bit close together. The cabins on the river are also very nice. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Campground Cabin.

A very nice RV park. We had a river front site and the view out the back window was great. It was quiet, peaceful, with pleasant hosts and a fun nature walk. Totem poles are all over the place and while we were there they had a planting ceremony. Only have two small complaints. The roads are bit narrow for longer rigs and they are constantly watering the grass. Sprinklers soaked the ground and anything left on the patio. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
