Fantastic cute RV park in charming Donelly, right between Cascade and McCall!! Big rig friendly, very nice shower/bathroom/laundry facilities and in walking distance from everything in Donelly. Short driving distance from Lake Cascade and Tamarack resort. Managers are amazing and we felt very welcome and taken care of, like family members! Strongly recommended park in a great location, I wish we could stay longer...camped for 2 weeks. - Freedomlovers
Jul 2017 - $38.00
We have stayed here twice to attend the nearby Roseberry Music Festival. Nice older park, lots of trees, very clean and well maintained. Some spaces are a bit tight, but no issues with neighbors. Seems to be quite a few long term residents, but they keep their spaces neat and clean. Nice large area to park a boat (in our case and enclosed trailer for our MC) Recommended. - Tom Hutchison
Aug 2016 - $30.00
This is a quaint, old RV park that is fun to be in because the caretakers are wonderfully friendly. "If you can't get comfortable here, it is your fault!" I am quoting the manager. I concur with the previous reviews about the satellite and small sizes of the sites. Good for an overnite. The only thing about the bathrooms i would complain about is the very short/small "barroom" type swinging doors on the stalls. We would come back. - saturn7

I absolutely concur with the first reviewer. In fact, we stayed at the same spot (248!). I'd add the showers are now for a nominal fee. Also, there is a small sandy beach on the north side that one can use to launch small portable craft (I went paddle boarding with my dog). The camp hostess was super nice. They groom the sand around the fire ring / table! Lastly, Tamarack Lodge is an easy walk (or bike ride) directly opposite the entrance to Poison Creek. One can extend the walk/bike for miles by following the paved golf course trail. Can't wait to return. - Panthera16

Absolutely the best campground on Lake Cascade. Situated at the entrance to Tamarack Ski Resort, all sites are full hook-ups with 30 and 50 amp service. There are nice clean restrooms and showers that are free for campers. No campsite is farther than 50 feet from the water. There is also a boat ramp and a pavilion. Tamarack Resort also has a cabana at the waters edge where you can rent boats, paddle boards, kayaks, and other toys for the water. Again, this is the best campground on Lake Cascade. - MarshallPoe

Very weird stop. We never saw a single staff person the whole time. We were the only campers in the park, although there was a few obviously long-term units. The sign on the office finally showed open the last day, but we did not go in since we had prepaid before arrival. The campsites are fairly short, we barely had room for our 36' unit. No sewer connection, and the dump station is in an incredibly inconvenient location on a hill next to the office building. We did not even use it because I did not want to try to maneuver the motorhome into the correct position. There was a sign at the entrance advertising the park is for sale. The park was pretty decent besides these features. - AZ_Travelers
Aug 2018 - $30.00
This was the approximate price as we did not get a receipt. The spaces are level concrete and many trees. Leaves everywhere and dead grass. No sewer and dump spot is inconvienent. There is no clean up of spots after use. Many full timers. Close to town. Could be a lovely spot with clean up and some work. We are 38' and just fit spot. - ca murphs
Jun 2016 - $30.00
The campground restroom and shower facility were recently remodeled and very clean. The campground store was very well stocked. My motorhome was parked on a level concrete slab with shade from some very large trees. Hosts were friendly and the park was very clean and well kept. - Havasuman
Sep 2019 - $57.00
Great place, from check in to the time we left. We liked the pool area with salt water pool and spa. Peaceful setting with deer wondering around and friendly staff to help with anything. Great laundry and showers. next time we'll spend more time a the park. - fredb
Aug 2019 - $50.00
Second time here. Traveling with 5 rigs and they were very accommodating for us. We had 4 rigs in one quad which is nice as there is grass in the middle. Hookups were easy and good. Great indoor pool, spa, steam room, private showers. exercise area. Park is clean and well planned and organized. When we arrived with our 5 rigs, staff came and took us to our spots immediately as our wives checked us in. Definitely be back again and again. - dcfam
Aug 2019 - $55.00
This is a true resort. Enclosed pool and jacuzzi. Staff were very nice. Very well maintained grounds. They have activites for everyone. I liked the fact that there weren't a lot of street lights shining in your window. Close enough to town but enough out of the congestion. Will stay longer next time - Joan J
Jul 2016 - $25.00
Excellent dry camping park on a beautiful lake. We have a 36' trailer so the corner around the end loop was tight but fine. Backing into our spot was also not for a newbie due to trailer length, but we were allowed to park the pick up sideways in front so everything fit.
The only drawback was that the fire pit and table for our spot was behind our trailer, which worked fine since the people in front of our spot didn't use theirs so it was available to us. Once new people showed up though we were out of luck. The view made it all worth while, though.
All in all an excellent park that we will definitely be using again. - Webfoot0807
Aug 2015 - $25.00
Oldest campground in Lake Cascade State Park, and really not suitable for large rigs. We worked hard to get 43' coach into site 8, but the view of the lake was worth it. Low water in the lake exposed lots of beach to walk on and there is a 5 mile trail starting just behind the park. - bobcovey
Sep 2013 - $10.00
We stayed here for 3 weeks during the end of September and beginning of October. We chose this RV park for their low rates. Only 300 for a month. Location is good. Very close to downtown McCall, 1 mi, we walked into town most days. Although it is directly on the main road so you do get a lot of traffic noise in the day, it is very quiet at night. The park itself is nothing to get excited about. VERY small park to accommodate 17 sites. We have a 34' 5th wheel and had a bit of a time getting it into our site. Be fore-warned if you have a rig of similar size. Owners are nice folks and accommodating when asked even though we were hardly greeted and were never given any information about park rules, fees, amenities or any of the like. Bottom line it fit our needs, cheep and near town. But the park could use some updates or more room. - tpsmith82
