8 RV Parks near Gooding, Idaho
Jul 2018 - $15.00
We stayed 2 nights because it is convenient. Level , wide concrete pads. Water and electric only. A city dump station is only a few blocks away. I don't know how they can have tent camping with no restrooms available. Very noisy with trains blowing whistles at all hours and traffic from the road. - Go often
Aug 2016 - $15.00
City run park with water, electricity and concrete parking slabs, very clean and green, not many trees, right off Idaho 46 north of Gooding. We have stayed here three separate times and park was nearly empty each time, pay is by honor system. There is a free RV dump in town that is for the guests of the park. It is located 1 block south of RR tracks to the west of Main ST. south side of street. The only draw back is train horns during the night.
Sites fill up during annual rodeo and town functions and I believe this is a first come first serve park, info on city web site. - Mikenrea
May 2016 - $15.00
Nice clean campground next to the County Fairgrounds with level concrete pull-throughs, back-in and tent sites. Water and 30-amp electric, no sewer. BBQ grills and picnic tables in outlying grassy areas. $15.00 for RV's and $5.00 for tents. Self-pay station. On the highway so a bit noisy but it didn't bother us. Only 2 others here when we stayed. Pull thru site was approximately 60' long so we had plenty of room for our 45' motor home. Typical RV park space between sites. Called the number on the website to confirm their location and received a call back within a few hours. Very nice for the inexpensive price. - Marg Simpson
Jun 2018 - $37.00
We loved this RV park. Easy access from the freeway. Beautiful grassy grounds with huge shade trees. Plenty of room for our 40 ft RV and tow without unhooking and very spacious sites. There is no dog park but the big grassy areas gave our dog a place to run after a long day of travel. We will definitely stay again! - candmmyers
Sep 2017 - $24.00
We have been staying here since 09, either coming or going to Texas. Some times twice a year. We didn't meet the owner for several years, just on the phone, always pleasant. We used the drop box. It is a nice quiet place for an overnight or to visit the local area. It was a Passport America for years, but no more. Sorry to say I will not be returning. I have been priced out for an overnight stop. - Rgvtexan
May 2017 - $36.00
A few things have changed since my last review. The dump station with fresh water is now available, the trees are now well groomed and new washers and dryers are on order. This park now only gives Good Sam customers a discount. Water and electric sites are currently costing $35 and FHU over $40 without the discount. This RV Park has been for sale for at least 4 years. This is still a nice park for an overnight or longer stays, however the cost per night is getting a little steep. - adsaxs
Mar 2019 - $33.00
Showers didn’t work. Internet not good.
Owners very nice. - CheerUp
Sep 2018 - $25.00
Probably should have given them a 10, since I can't think of any complaints. Then again, I'm probably overly influenced by our interaction with the owners. We had a minor problem with our Trailer, which would have made further travel difficult . Also, we arrived on a Saturday night. The owner came out at 8AM Sunday, fixed our problem in an hour, and we were on our way. Minimal labor charge, and friendly throughout. I should also mention that we had good wifi - a rare and wonderful thing in our travel experience. We would definitely stay there again. They also sell and service RVs. - JacknLorie
Aug 2018 - $27.00
nice park just off the freeway. Great hosts, $1 ice cream at night and waffles in morning. We had 30 amp service but did not need ac's because of cool temps at night. Will stay again. - Jim451
Sep 2018 - $35.00
We were greeted with a very enthusiastic staff member at the front desk. Our reservation was made in advance via email. A Good Sam discount is applied at check in. Sites are fairly level, packed earth, trees provide shade, a picnic table is at each site, water pressure is very good and close by, along with the electric pole (50A, 30A and 20A) and sewer connection close by. A grassed patio separates each site. Sites may be a little close for some, but it was not intrusive. Laundry and showers are available but did not use those facilities. This quiet, quaint park is close to sightseeing venues in and throughout the area. Be sure to visit the hot spring pools close by. Some stores are available in the little town of Hagerman, but one is better off shopping at Boise or Twin Falls, depending on your direction. I would stay here again when in the area. No cable TV available, but OTA channels are sourced from Twin Falls and provide all the major broadcasts. - kihei7
Jul 2018 - $38.00
We've been coming here off and on for 15 years. The park is getting old from lack of upkeep. The sites have gone from gravel to partial dirt and gravel. They are uneven, with a small grass lawn. The surrounding landscape is over grown. The interior roads are almost all dirt now. The park has many large overgrown trees, which now block out all satellite chances. The office has very little supplies. The owner is very helpful, but lack of interest or ability to keep things up is showing. The site is still worth the money, as long as you understand where you are in Idaho. Small town, not much going on. - ctjt1234
Jul 2018 - $35.00
Stayed overnight in our truck camper in a small space next to the building and restrooms. Nice shady site. Everything worked and WiFi was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Went in to look at the restrooms and they were nice and clean, as were the showers, but we did not use them. Overall a good place and we would stay again if passing through the area. - Dewclaw
Aug 2016 - $35.00
Was looking for a place from south east to north west on our way to Eugene. Saw this on line and instead of just a "regular" night spot, this one offers a warm pool with natural hot springs and a river view. Very quaint compared to the options. - Road Chateau
Aug 2012 - $30.00
Nice view of the river and enjoyed the pool. Wi-Fi did not work and the bathrooms were dirty and full of gravel. Could not use shower as water would only trickle. - happytravlers
Jul 2012 - $32.00
Campground consists of grassy day use sites on the water, grassy tent sites in the next row back from the river, and gravel RV sites behind the tent sites. The best thing about the campground is the view of the river and the waterfalls across the river. We stayed a week and found that Monday and Tuesday were the days that had the least amount of people using the day use area. The rest of the week the tent area and day use areas are packed. Each site had a fire ring and picnic table. Our AT&T cell phone did not work and our Verizon air card worked sometimes. If we were in the area again we might stay here. - User1620
Aug 2016 - $20.00
Nice for a night. Have to check in at office by pool and there is not a lot of room in the parking lot to turn around a big rig. Also, there is no dump station so make sure you dump before you come. There is a free dump station in town about 7 miles away. - Smokinghawk49
Oct 2015 - $20.00
I give this place five stars because of their wonderful hot pools. Newly renovated, all different temperatures. Water is constantly flowing, no chemicals!
$10 admission. You can use their sister hot springs, Banbury Hot Springs, one and a half miles away with the same admission. Extra small cost for private pool. Campground is small, with limits on RV size. No dump station, no sewer hook ups.
If you have a larger RV like we do, 40 foot, I recommend Banbury for camping, and bicycling or driving to Miracle Hot Springs for outdoor soaking. - William From California
Apr 2015 - $20.00
Two couples in a class C and a 5th wheel stayed one night and enjoyed the great hot springs facility with open public pools and the option to get a private tub experience where small kids were not an issue......nice for us older, retired types! Nice little grassy park setting alongside a little rushing creek. Even got to see the mascots of the park in an enclosure with a pond....a big tortoise and a 12 to 14 foot crocodile lazing in the sun on his own private island....fun to see and photograph.! We would definitely stay here again! - BornFreeGary
Apr 2019 - $44.00
Nice older KOA. Our 65' unit fit in their long pull thru. Easy to get around. Good utilities. Quiet. Nice staff. Our GPS had us going past the park. Watch for the KOA right off Hwy 93. Shared utility posts, so fairly close to neighbor. Would stay again. - Delongnm
Sep 2018 - $47.00
Conveniently located for overnight stop. Wouldn't stay here for extended period. Site not level; somewhat muddy. Priced as if facility were better than it is. - MSTraveler
Sep 2018 - $48.00
We enjoyed our two-night stay. The campground has the feel of summer camp. Lots of trees with kind of a fun vibe. The section we stayed in was dirt with a small grass lawn in front. Not at all level, but manageable (part of the summer camp feeling). There is a good sized pool which had just closed for the season. The campground is on US Hwy 93 but there is a frontage road and embankment which keeps the noise down. There are 5 cows on the lot next door so sometimes you get a whiff of cow manure. This is not generally a problem. The sites are close but still had plenty of room for slides & generous lawn. - storms
