We were greeted with a very enthusiastic staff member at the front desk. Our reservation was made in advance via email. A Good Sam discount is applied at check in. Sites are fairly level, packed earth, trees provide shade, a picnic table is at each site, water pressure is very good and close by, along with the electric pole (50A, 30A and 20A) and sewer connection close by. A grassed patio separates each site. Sites may be a little close for some, but it was not intrusive. Laundry and showers are available but did not use those facilities. This quiet, quaint park is close to sightseeing venues in and throughout the area. Be sure to visit the hot spring pools close by. Some stores are available in the little town of Hagerman, but one is better off shopping at Boise or Twin Falls, depending on your direction. I would stay here again when in the area. No cable TV available, but OTA channels are sourced from Twin Falls and provide all the major broadcasts. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Motorhome.

We've been coming here off and on for 15 years. The park is getting old from lack of upkeep. The sites have gone from gravel to partial dirt and gravel. They are uneven, with a small grass lawn. The surrounding landscape is over grown. The interior roads are almost all dirt now. The park has many large overgrown trees, which now block out all satellite chances. The office has very little supplies. The owner is very helpful, but lack of interest or ability to keep things up is showing. The site is still worth the money, as long as you understand where you are in Idaho. Small town, not much going on. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Motorhome.

Stayed overnight in our truck camper in a small space next to the building and restrooms. Nice shady site. Everything worked and WiFi was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Went in to look at the restrooms and they were nice and clean, as were the showers, but we did not use them. Overall a good place and we would stay again if passing through the area. Pulled in for just one night so we could enjoy the many springs in the area. Beautiful campground, lots of trees and green lawns. All pull through sites. Bathrooms were absolutely spotless. Only drawback was WiFi was slower than broadband! We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

We pulled in late so we never got to talk to the staff. The office wasn't open until 10:00 the next day so we were long gone by the time they opened. It's a nice clean park with pull-thru's. Just about every site has shade. I would recommend this park as a great place for a overnight stay. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in site 11 in a TT. Very nice park. The spaces were small but separated by nice green grass. There trees scattered around the park so it felt a little like a state park. Water pressure was good, voltage was 122v and steady. Septic at the site as well. The internet even worked well and was pretty fast. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:
Hagerman is near two significant federal sites. One is the old fossil beds (the headquarters building is a 5 minute walk from the park) and the other is the former Japanese internment camp. Both are well worth visiting. Hagerman is a typical small, rural town with friendly people. Find something you need at the local ACE hardware store just to go inside and step a 1950s style shop right out of Mayberry. It is a delightful place to shop.

Looked like all pull thru's of various sizes. Dirt pad with nice grass between sites. Problem is they water the grass every night and the dirt pad turns into mud on your shoes and you can't have any mats on the grass. UGH. I might stay here again but would check other parks. Don't think any sites are satellite friendly and there's no cable. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Motorhome.

A really nice park. Most of the lots under mature trees, dirt/gravel pull thru sites level, but a little narrow. Whole park area grassed, so much nicer than the gravel you see so often. No dedicated dog run, but pets (on leashes) allowed throughout the park. Amazing showers, nice, tiled. Solid plexiglass doors! Not the dreaded curtains!! Would be nice if there were hooks on the walls for clothes, towel, etc. Wi-fi OK, 1.5Gb download, probably not good enough for streaming movies, but sufficient for emails, Facebook, etc. Easy access, right on the main drag of Hagerman (Hwy 30) but quiet. Only antenna TV, but was able to get the 4 main networks. All the staff we encountered were really friendly & welcoming; We'd stay there again. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Motorhome.

This was our second stay here, the first in September of 2015. The roads into and inside the park are easy to navigate. We were in Site 32, a gravel pull through with full hook ups, average width and a picnic table. The park is well maintained and quiet, the laundry room and bathrooms are very clean. The rec room has a pool table, fuse ball, and exercise equipment. We stayed August 20 - 22, 2017 and paid $29.16 a night with our Good Sam discount. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Motorhome.

I scored low for value. DO NOT get site #1, it should be considered overflow at about $15; one tree, no grass, FHU, all gravel. I am essentially parked in a shared driveway with the truck repair company next door. Avoid the first row sites 1-9, they have the same truck repair view as I but they have shade and grass and picnic tables. Most other sites really are BEAUTIFUL; some are closer than others, the end spots being the nicest, lovely shade trees, green grass. Very strict about dogs, and things on the grass. Sites are gravel and easy to navigate with wide grass areas between sites and large mature trees on both sides. They have 30/50 amp which worked just fine. They water at 1 a.m. every day/night so you can't leave anything on the grass. They also don't want you to put welcome mats or any other mats on the grass. The laundry room is nice with 3 washers at $1.25 and 3 dryers at $1.00. There is a big recreation room that has a pool table, shuffleboard and some exercise equipment. There are small cabins for rent but they don't all have the same amenities. Some have only electric, some only water, some with water & electric and a couple with showers, very strange. They own the construction area that is located right next to the RV park and looks like a salvage yard but looking around we saw a 55 Cameo so not too bad for a salvage yard. There are full time residents living at the park but they are quiet and not a bother. The owners and their part-time help are very friendly and helpful. They should replace the tired old picnic tables, benches, swings that are on the cabins, signs and just about everything that looks old. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:
There isn't much to do in Hagerman itself except for the Fossil Beds and the National Park Museum which has the "Hagerman Horse", but 35 miles away is Twin Falls with more to do.
I would pass on the Farmhouse Restaurant in Wendell. Walmart in Jerome is the closest convenience store. The Hagerman grocery store is very good.

Decent restaurant at the other end of town: Snake River Grill Hagerman Fossil Beds (National Park Service) has visitor center in town, fossil beds outside of town several miles Not easy to find the different units of Thousand Springs State Park - most not located right off US30 - so GPS recommended small grocery in town for basic needs

The Fossil Beds NM is the focus here but the actual site is out of town and there isn't much to see except the Oregon Trail runs thru it. Make sure the visitor center is open to get the most out of your visit. It was closed while we were there. There is a great history museum in town but is only open on weekends. We happened by while someone was there so he let us in to check it out.

Climbing balance rock for a beautiful picture is a must. You just need someone else there to take the picture.
John Borajkiewicz • September 2016 -
Shoshone Falls is very nice. Also nice for a picnic, yet does have a nice concession stand with a wide variety snacks, drinks, burgers, etc. If touring Twin Falls, would highly recommend staying closer than Hagerman as Hagerman has very little to offer.

A lot of Hot Springs in the area and a beautiful area. There are lots of Cattle Farms to pass before you get anywhere, a mostly farming area. 25 miles to Twin Falls, Shoshone Falls a must see. Jakers Bar and Grill, the place to eat.
gosee • May 2015 -
Town has several bars, two coffee shops, a couple of restaurants, a market and several churches. Snake River, hot springs, and fossil beds nearby. Park office has very limited information/brochures on local activities/sightseeing, etc. Suggest Forest Service visitor center in town for local information.
