We have stayed here many times and it is always a great place to stay. The interior roads are wide and paved the sites are long and wide. The parking sites are large round rock and the there are cement patios at all the sites with a grass strip in between. The office and resort staff are all very nice and helpful. - JDR
Nov 2018 - $33.00
This is our second stay in this park this year, this time on the way down South, stayed for a week. Consistently great customer service, cleanliness and order across the board and simply awesome atmosphere! Love their super wide sites where we could park 2 large vehicles on both sides of the rig. Will remain our go to park when we are in Nampa area! - Freedomlovers
Oct 2018 - $39.00
We stayed 1 night while passing through the area. This park gets it! It only lacks paved/concrete parking pads. The park is a short drive from I-84 (Exit 29) along busy multi lane city streets. The intersection is controlled making turns onto the street easier. The interior roads are paved. The interior roads have sufficient width and gentle turns making maneuvering larger RV's easy. There is a mixture of back-ins and pull through sites. This park seems to understand the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as the sites were generally level and flat. The parking pads are rock. The P/T sites were long enough to say connected to a toad. Sites had sufficient room for opening slides. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were spread out along the middle to rear of the sites. The sewer connection was at ground level making it easy to establish a downhill flow depending on discharge point. Sites have an outside table on a concrete patio but no fire pits. Site orientation allows RV's to cast shade onto the patio side. Distance, grassy & gravel areas establish privacy between the sites. Some of the sites appear to be extended stay sites. There were a few young trees scattered throughout the park and around the perimeter so satellite reception would be dependent upon your site and dish configuration. The park information listed about 37 cable channels but didn't mention anything about broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The park provided WiFi was good. It was password protected. Didn't try our Verizon WiFi hotspot or NET10 phone so don't know about reception. There is one designated fenced pet area with a grass surface located at the front of the park and another unfenced designated pet area along the street. It appears 2 sites were transformed into the dog park - impressive. - bsb814
Sep 2018 - $15.00
This is a member only campground attached to an Elks Lodge in Caldwell, ID. Area is an open parking lot with 8 campsites with 30 amp and water only, no sewer or sewer dump onsite. Close to I-84, so some road noise is evident. The Elks Lodge is open to members for adult beverages and meals. My travels are in a 40' motorhome towing an 18' car hauler. I disconnected by trailer and parked in the parking lot. All sites are back-in sites on fairly level, dirt!! Sites are close to one another, so watch for awnings and slides! Large boulders border each site between the water and electric pole, so care should be taken when backing into the site! A convenient location and definitely a value for the road weary traveler!! All fees are paid at the bar. A registration form is completed and then approved by an Elks member. All sites are on a first come first served basis. Reservations are not provided. I certainly would stay here again to take advantage of Elks member benefits while traveling in this area. Bathrooms are inside at the bar, no shower facilities. - kihei7
Jul 2017 - $15.00
This is just a gravel parking lot with only a few spots, but it was level. We had 30 amp service and good water...no sewer. We had good Verizon service and good antenna tv channels. Lots of room in the parking lot...we were sick and stayed 3 days till we felt better. Fairly quiet, just a few trains a day. Easy on and off I-84 at exit 28. - Ginny H
Aug 2016 - $15.00
I personally like this type of camping and if the prices would stay at this rate this is all I need. Eight spots, four hose bibs, 30 amp power. You are parked on a gravel/dirt combination. Remember drive in slow and leave slow to respect your neighbors. Some people just don't get it, even though they are Elk members.
Road noise was not an issue for us. Maybe it's because we're deaf, but we actually shut the air off and open the windows at night and I was just fine.
Easy access to highway 84 but far enough away that you don't hear the freeway noise. We will stay here again if need be while traveling through. - monaco cruiser
Aug 2018 - $15.00
I would rate this average if each site had water, instead of the 4 for 8, and if there were a dump on site. Spacious for maneuvering, but the sites are squeezed tight for the amount of open space there. 30A, no sewer or dump on site, open for solar & satellite. - rvrrat520
Aug 2018 - $22.00
We stayed here for a week (the nightly rate indicated above reflects that discounting). Not sure I would stay here again....there are a lot of permanent residents and it appears that not a lot of care goes into the outward appearance of the facility and spaces. We were lucky in that our pull through spot had a large green area next to it, but most spaces were fairly close to their neighbors. The laundry room was inexpensive but still kind of dirty. I was also surprised to see some folks still don't clean up after their pets----what is with that??? Water and power were good. The campground is fairly close to I-84 and there is the occasional train notices from across the freeway. - Carried Away
Jul 2018 - $35.00
It is a good campground for a day or two, not sure we would stay here again though. Nothing really awful about it but there are a lot of what looks like permanent campers. That in and of itself is not all bad, the sites seemed clean and it was a fairly quiet place even with its location so close to the interstate. I just never felt comfortable sending my kids out to bike ride without my husband or I with them. The Verizon and AT&T coverage was great here. The employees at the office and out doing lawn care were very friendly and helpful. - seeknewadventures
Aug 2018 - $43.00
The park is beautiful but unfortunately there is a mink farm right across the road. The park has o control over this STINK, but it is AWFUL. Could not even stay out or have camper open in the evening. Sad really: - Mads01
Jul 2018 - $45.00
We read about this park online & booked for 6 weeks, excited to stay. The sites are very close together & roads are very narrow. Not child friendly; we booked here hoping our grandkids would enjoy the 'beach' & 'lake'. I took them down there & did not stay long. They could only go in a few feet before it looked to be too deep. Small fish were aggressive & consistently nipped the kids. The water had a bad smell & the 'beach' was ground up stones & mud. There was small play equipment being put in while we were there. The gun range is behind a set of trees & the range is used ALL DAY on Tuesdays & Saturdays. We heard the train several times a day & night. When we explained why we wanted to leave, we were told 'no refunds'. My husband asked to speak to the park manager & was told 'no'. He asked for the contact number for corporate, and was told 'no'. Because we came in late at night, we did not have an opportunity to review the contract, which states the gun range is in use on Tuesdays. The site manager argued with my husband stating they don't shoot on Saturdays! He did give us a refund on each Tuesday, allowing us to leave a week early. The entire time we were there, there was a really bad odor in the air that we could not get away from. Smelled like decomposing plants. It was awful. - TJJones
Jul 2018 - $40.00
Was a full timer. Park is not children friendly. The park stinks often from the nearby mink farm. Loud noise from trains and hiway. There is a nearby gun range with shooting until dark. Lots of rules that are waived for "friends" but others get reprimanded for. No walkways inside park, only around the small lake. It has fish but only 2 - 3" at most. Trash containers are only at the entrance so get ready to walk way around on asphalt. Park is OK for stop overs but longer stays get nick picked for things most parks allows. Children must be adult supervised anywhere in the park. Don't assume it is OK to have something outside on your lot just because you see others doing it. You have to ask "special permission" first or you will be evicted like we were. We will never stay here again. - Clayton P
Jun 2017 - $27.00
The lots are large and well kept. Park is quiet. The only detractor is the sugar beet factory just across the interstate highway to the north. We didn't spend a lot of time at the RV so it didn't really bother us. - LenVT
Jul 2015 - $34.00
Very noisy from interstate traffic, with air conditioner on not so much. The sites were spacious and level. Salt water swimming pool fantastic. Enjoyed the free pop corn. - alimen
Jun 2015 - $12.00
The rate shown was the result of staying one month.
Pros: Management was great, always willing to help; level sites with good utilities; lots of beautiful grass.
Cons: Aroma from sugar beet factory was terrible, traffic noise from Interstate, have to pass thru industrial area to get to park, wifi worked most of the time.
Other: Mostly permanent residents, we use satellite so don't have any idea about cable, didn't use any facilities except washer and dryer which is located in club house and worked fine, needed more than 25' power cable which we had. - DennisD
Aug 2017 - $26.00
When I arrived was helped promptly. Was directed to my site. When I started to go my motor home would not start. The manager came and helped tow me into my spot. It was a great help. Then my stay was going there he a few days turned longer and they worked withme so I could stay. They answered any questions I had and are very friendly. I would recomend this campground highly. - James f
Sep 2012 - $26.00
When we pulled in the office was closed for the long weekend so it was self check in. We drove through the site which was dirt roads and dirt sites. The park was almost full of permanent residents and really unappealing. We left and really would not recommend it. - Terry G
Aug 2012 - $25.00
This RV Park is dominated by the rudest manager I have ever come across. Non professional, lacks people skills downright mean lady. She locks down the bathrooms and told me, "Too bad. You live in a RV use the damn thing!" She lies and says she is the owner of the park, not allowing anyone to complain to higher ups. The park is dirty. Its a park that people use to live at, with all their corresponding junk and cars. I would not stay here again if it was the last spot on God's green earth. - mrsnoose
Oct 2018 - $22.00
The owners/manager were very nice and helpful. A lot of full timers, but all very nice. - AnneDave
Sep 2018 - $23.00
Park sign is obstructed by trees and we didn't see it until we had passed the entrance. Roads are dirt with minimal gravel as are sites. Not enough room to accommodate my 38' coach with my tow vehicle connected. Good steady power with no fluctuations or major low voltage situations. Sewer easy to reach and close to site. Many very old dilapidated RVs with some form of skirting attached. Lots of motorcycles and dogs also live here. Amazingly, the park was very quiet after dark. I was expecting major "partying" all night but it didn't happen on Friday or Saturday. The airport across the street cranked up around 6:00a.m. Water pressure was good (use a regulator) and water was clear with no aroma. The sites are very close together. Restrooms are closed for cleaning from 7:30-9:00a.m. For the money, this place is OK for an overnight or two if you only want basic hook-ups and nothing else. When departing go out the back exit adjacent to the airport. If you use the main entrance/exit there is no stop light and it could take a long time to enter the street. - RagFtw
Aug 2018 - $23.00
Park is sand and gravel with grass between the spaces. Sprinklers are turned on around 8am and spray into the RV space. Restrooms/showers closed for cleaning until 9am. Seem to be mostly long term tenants and few overnight spaces. Wifi speed is 1mbps. Close to businesses. - 00__01
Apr 2019 - $40.00
The park is easy to access from Route 84, but about 1/8 mile away so the road noise is minimal. The sites are grassy and the roads and parking pads are crushed stone. We had a pull-thru site which was level and large enough for our towed vehicle. The roads are level and wide enough to navigate in our big rig. Large fenced dog run with grass. Everything was well maintained. Efficient check-in, friendly and attentive owner. Lovely rural location; cattle next door and across the street. We stayed for 3 nights, and would definitely stay here again. - MrsBowman
Aug 2018 - $38.00
This is a beautiful RV Park very conveniently located within 1/2 mile of Interstate 84 near Caldwell, Idaho. As you enter the park you will be greeted with absolutely gorgeous hanging baskets of flowers not only on the front porch of the office, but throughout the park along with very well manicured grass areas between each site and a wonderful shady guest patio area with several gas grills and comfy outdoor furniture to relax in while cooking dinner. Rest room/shower rooms were in excellent condition and very clean. While the park is close to the Interstate it is located in a rural area and very quiet. Overall, this is a delightful RV park that is very well kept. It makes a good base for exploring the Boise, ID area. We particularly enjoyed taking an evening drive to the south of the Interstate between Caldwell and Nampa along the Snake River and viewing amazing farm operations including large fields growing hops, spearmint, all kinds of beans, wheat, barley, and hundreds of acres of onions plus several extremely large, modern dairies. It is amazing agriculture country. - MissouriBird
Aug 2018 - $39.00
This was our second trip to Country Corners. We like this park because of the proximity to I84. The park is close enough to make it easy to find and far enough off the interstate to make it a quiet overnight. For westbound travelers the park is located west of Boise traffic so any departure time works. The staff are exceptional! The owner checked us in and escorted us to our site. Sites are level and there are some trees providing shade. The road ways and sites are well graded gravel. Flowers throughout the park add to the ambiance. Restrooms and showers are clean and neat. We travel with two dogs and appreciate the fenced dog park with grass and a tree for shade. - Scott and Lorraine
Sep 2016 - $15.00
This is not for bigger rigs as it has a serious egress problem. We are 55 feet long and 11.8 feet high and had to swerve around tree branches. The aisles are so small that there was no way for us to make the turn into a pull through. Smaller rigs will work but water isn't available which is actually a good thing as the city water of Emmett is so horrible that it runs brown at the local elementary school, and that's after extensive work that was done to bring it up to EPA standards after a hefty fine. It's a good place if you're just there for the fair or overnight but it is on the main highway with plenty of noise. - User3326
Oct 2018 - $45.00
Large KOA close to Boise. Site was small but adequate. Good facilities and service. - Wayne B41
Oct 2018 - $46.00
is a radically different kind of KOA: it's set right in downtown Meridian, an oasis in a sea of urban franchise stores, for people who like the camping lifestyle but without a hint of wilderness. Actually, they've done a good job of giving it a resort feel: Although it was mostly sunny, there were trees all around, most of them in the autumn fashions of red or gold. The campground is surrounded by a wall to hide the city bustle. Like other resort parks, they've packed the sites too tightly, but I've stayed at worse. I chose thia campground because it split my hurried drive back to Olympia into nice chunks. If I return to visit this part of Idaho for an extended period, I shall probably select one in a more rural setting. - Jim Fulton
Aug 2018 - $44.00
This park has a long term section in the "back" of the park. Unfortunately, for us anyway, the long term users have taken over the perimeter of the "short term" section. It seems like this RV Park is turning into a mobile home park. It was quiet at night went we arrived. Then someone with a motorcycle with loud pipes with no regard for quiet hours moved into a site just across from our site which was one of the perimeter sites, apparently set up for a long duration . They like to take their bike out during quiet hours. Especially after 11PM. This was very annoying and overshadowed the nicer aspects of the park. We were anxious to move on because of it. Many of the residents in the perimeter sites have multiple cars making maneuvering tricky and exasperating. Since many of the sites are long term those people are up early slamming car doors evidently scurrying off to work. This is not what we expected from a KOA. - JaycoNM
