I absolutely concur with the first reviewer. In fact, we stayed at the same spot (248!). I'd add the showers are now for a nominal fee. Also, there is a small sandy beach on the north side that one can use to launch small portable craft (I went paddle boarding with my dog). The camp hostess was super nice. They groom the sand around the fire ring / table! Lastly, Tamarack Lodge is an easy walk (or bike ride) directly opposite the entrance to Poison Creek. One can extend the walk/bike for miles by following the paved golf course trail. Can't wait to return. - Panthera16

Absolutely the best campground on Lake Cascade. Situated at the entrance to Tamarack Ski Resort, all sites are full hook-ups with 30 and 50 amp service. There are nice clean restrooms and showers that are free for campers. No campsite is farther than 50 feet from the water. There is also a boat ramp and a pavilion. Tamarack Resort also has a cabana at the waters edge where you can rent boats, paddle boards, kayaks, and other toys for the water. Again, this is the best campground on Lake Cascade. - MarshallPoe
