This park has 1 and only 1 thing going for it, its proximity to the sand dunes. Park is borderline way overly priced and the park setup/layout is highly bizarre. The main spots are sardined and I mean sardined next two each other with conjoined (and slightly offset) concrete pads. The sites are opposing in that you have to pull in one way (your neighbor the opposite way) in order to share the concrete. Oh and the concrete pad is "for your use" but you can't drive on it, park anything (bikes/quads included), set gas cans on it etc. Slots are on dirt and ours wasn't level. Also, our non-slideout trailer was deep against a small tree they had planted in the minuscule slot, makes no sense. They allow night riding so we had OHV noise up until 2a.m. If you're not there for motorized recreation you're 100% in the wrong place. Sorry to say it but the management is also sub par. The lady there took a week-plus to get back to me on our reservations and didn't answer email or voice mail timely (if at all). Beware of their cancellation policy. I might stay there again but the state park campground down the road (and closer in the dunes) is a much more appealing option at a fraction of the cost. - blomquir
May 2004 - $25.00
We were in the area to visit family & found the park in an Idaho RV book. It's built for sand dune players! Great access just over the hill! We aren't sand dune players, so it wasn't as fun. Everyone else had lots of toys - ATVs and rail cars, etc. The landscaping is minimal, but many sites have have concrete pads. There's lots of sand and dirt, of course, but some grassy areas. A big area for dry camping is available for $12. At the main road turn off is a store and office, but they weren't functioning that day. We wandered up to a house in the trees (yes, there were trees near the dunes!) to register. Our satellites and phones worked great and the site was large enough for our 40' rig and toad. That's what keeps us happy. We didn't know the dunes existed till this visit - they are impressive! We drove over to look at Sand Hills RV Resort - it was further from the dunes, but a little nicer resort-y kind of place. BTW, the web site for Desert Oasis says it's for sale now (2005), but still operating. - BethnBubba

Great place to stay while riding the St. Anthony dunes. Centrally located on the edge of the dunes making all the dunes accessible on a tank of gas! Not a lot of trees and no grass...but you are there to play in the sand! Owners and grounds keepers were polite. And some spots had concrete pads to pull up next to. - W. Bates

First of all realize you are paying for immediate access to some of the best sand dunes in the country. This park is literally located in the dunes. Secondly, there will be noise, dust and smells from high performance atv's and sand rails. This will not be a quit time at the dunes. People come here to play hard and party hard. If your not up for that then this is not your place. The store has bare essentials and some Polaris and Can Am parts. Only racing gas is available, regular gas must be brought with you. - Money2Burn
Sep 2016 - $52.00
Be aware of their no refund policy. The winds blew consistently here, one day reaching 45mph. We would have left early except for that policy. It's a little more than we usually pay. Too bad the winds blowing off the dunes often made being outside impossible. It's a perfect spot for folks with quads who are into riding miles in the dunes. The staff is obsessed with watering the struggling grass which causes a low water pressure. We will pass on this park. - full timers from Michigan
Aug 2016 - $50.00
After having a bad experience at another RV park and ending up here, it turned our bad start to a day, right around.
The staff that we talk to were amazing!!! They made sure we got the perfect spot to suit our needs. Very pleasant demeanor. The park itself was very well kept bathrooms & showers very clean. There was grass and lots of shaded areas. Easy access to the sand dunes.
Even though this is the farthest Campsite from the big sand dunes, I would still rather stay here and would recommend to anyone wanting to camp, to ride St. Anthony's sand dunes. - Socal619

This is a park designed for Off Road use of the Sand Dunes. Lots of sand rails and UTVs ATVs and Motorcyles. It is electric only but has dump and water stations. The Camp Host was very friendly and came by a second time since I was out riding in the dunes with my friend. I chose a handicap spot as it was paved and level and each spot has a shaded and partially enclosed picnic table. - John S.

Awesome ! for BLM campsite this one of the best well maintained I have ever stayed at. - caliboy54
Oct 2007 - $16.00
This is a purpose built campground for OHV access to the sand dunes. It is not for solitude and relaxation. This is basically a gravel parking lot which resembles the pit area at a racetrack. Super large sites for big rigs with toy haulers. You could park a full race transport out here. Some sites will accommodate multiple rigs. Rates depend on size of your site and whether it has a covered shelter. - InVogue

Mixed feelings about this park. We were in the row facing the lake with large trees on both sides, so the site was both scenic & pleasant for sitting outside. Nice for dog walking along the lake with a small open area by the office that I used for some training refreshering. The girl in the office was extremely polite & friendly, & helpful when we had to extend our stay twice due to mechanical issues. The bad: The electric is sketchy. I happened to check our monitor and, at one time, the reading was down to 104. We were in a 30-amp site, so only using one A/C. We used the A/C as little as possible after that. The shade trees came in very handy in the mid-90 degree temps. There are areas where the grass is mowed but, in numerous sites, the weeds are knee-high. The office is only manned a few hours a day and phone calls are not answered (although if you leave a message, they are returned within a reasonable time). The site we were in was not long enough for our 5W & tow vehicle, but plenty wide enough to park them side-by-side. If you have kids, the lake would be a nice feature. We did not take advantage. - straw_dg
Jun 2018 - $25.00
Awful place! Loud campers disrespectful with late night noise. Was here a week and restrooms/showers stayed dirty. Worse showers I've ever had at rv Park. Trash and broken glass on grounds. Dogs left outside camper all day in small kennels barking and crying. Tried several times to reach someone at office and there was no one there. Find another place to stay! - Hill9999
Jun 2017 - $40.00
No one on duty even though sign said office was open. Completely self-serve. Gravel. No grass by spaces. No toilet paper in one stall for two days. Muddy by hook ups. Fun to watch the wakeboarders, but will not stop here again. - Judy R

For what it is, Beaver Dick Park is a great value. Quiet, tranquil, and easy access for a 38 ft. 5th wheel. NO hookups! Strictly dry camping. Located about 5 miles W of Rexburg - and know that there is NO sign saying "beaver dick" or "county road" from Rt. 33. Instead it says "historical point". There is a line of trees (that associate with the stream) - and - I would not call any of the sites "waterfront". Your views are basically of trees and a playground. There is a stream (slow moving in September) and it is on the property - but no sites are along it. Camping here becomes free on Oct 1 and continues until the following Spring. - alansills
Jul 2014 - $5.00
This park is a gem of a county park. Clean and hardly used. Excellent Verizon 4G. Easy to find. Very little road noise. Has 2 small playgrounds, covered BBQ areas and a boat ramp. Nice place to stop over for a night or a few days. Handy garbage cans at each site. Mostly for smaller rigs, but there are a few sites at the back that can handle larger rigs like ours (40ft). Big Plus - if you stay 5 nights the cost is only $15 (that's $3 per night). Plenty of shopping in Rexburg, 5 miles away. - debmc

This is a campground is ok for an overnight stay. The signage outside is worn and old. The campground is tired but all the utilities worked fine. No wifi or cable and T-Moble's LTE signal is non-exsistant. The very friendly lady who checked us in directed us to our site and helped us back in. The inside roads and sites are gravel with grass in between. - Recycled
Aug 2016 - $25.00
Another fine no-frills park. There aren't any fancy amenities here: what they do have is nice tall shade-trees and plenty of peace and quiet. If you are headed north, you have to get off hwy 20 and then double back almost 4 miles. Good phone and internet service on my Verizon phone. Be advised - this is a 55+ age park. Restrooms are locked up overnight. - hikinghack
Aug 2015 - $25.00
Great place to spend a few nights. Grounds are well kept. Mostly grass with a good gravel road through the small park. Price was with Passport America for 40' with 50A. I would stay here again. This is not a fancy resort, but is a nice well kept, clean, quiet place to relax. Maybe not worth $50 without PA discount, but with the discount, worth the $25 I paid. - Gurleymon

Take exit 328 off highway 20. Our GPS for large rv access did not recognize rv access. Rate reflects passport america for 50 amp plus some sort of summer addition. We were able to get in latter part of August due to emergency truck repair and were able to stay for a week. Staff very friendly and helpful. No WIFI or cable but antenna TV and Verizon Data plan. Most sites are very narrow and no shade. Old building had one washer, dryer, men and women toilet, and a pay shower. - fulltimehusker
Aug 2017 - $42.00
We called last minute for a reservation. Apparently, a popular spot. We were able to get a two night stay only because no vacancies after that even though we wanted 3 nights. Fairly tight interior roadways but we managed to get to our site, #15, a long pull thru with FHU and only 30A (no 50A at this site). Site was fairly level with gravel bed. This is a Passport America campground but was charged a $15 premium for an extra long pull thru site. Not stated at PA website. Park is hidden with poor directions at PA website. From Idaho Falls, find Idaho 20 east bound (PA website indicates 20 north, but the road is an east/west road, not north/south). You are actually heading north. Exit 328, turn right, cross railroad tracks, turn right again. As road Y's, remain to the right. As road begins to turn to the left, stay right across a small bridge. You should see a sign pointing to the right for RV park. At the stop sign on entrance road, a sign requests you call one of two numbers upon arrival. We were guided to our camp site. With premium fee for long pull thru, our nightly fee was about $43/night. Tree-lined park. Owners are very friendly. Fairly close to Idaho 20, so road noise can be heard. Not too intrusive though. - kihei7
Jul 2017 - $23.00
Stayed here in a 34' toy hauler. We were put on a spot with the power/water opposite our connections. The site had no sewer connection. There were sites we could have moved to the next day with full connections but I won't move once put in.
This may be good for a stop over but there is nothing to do at the park and the kids (two boys 8 &12) had nothing to do there but play with the neighbor's dog.
A few full time people at the park. The staff is very friendly and helpful and will do everything to help a person out. We stayed here for 4 nights visiting national monuments and parks around the area. Rexburg is about 4 miles away and has everything a person needs for supplies/repair and entertainment. - Wally Shreves

Quaint little park off of US-20 with lots of green space and a large off-leash area for dogs. Just outside of Ashton, ID, with outrageous views of the Teton range. Owner is friendly and accommodating. - pclchicagox

My family has stayed here for the past 4-5 years in both the cabins as well as the RV spots. It's very clean and the owners take very good care of the people that stay here. There's a great playground for the kids. We'll continue to stay here in the future!! - Nmeldrum

I have very mixed feelings about this place. When we checked in, we were told any spot we want except this one, this one, this one, etc cause the electric doesn't work. Then you drive in and additional pedestals are covered with plastic trash bags. We parked in one of the two pull throughs left, and were next to a small (I would say 20') TT. It had a large trailer with a blow up professional raft on it. They had a full size van that was spray painted like it belonged in wood stock and 2 large pick up trucks. They were I think 2 guys. Clean, no noise but crowed site. The grass needed watering and mowing as it was turning into hay. When you pull into the grounds. The spaces on the right look like pull throughs but they are pull ins. If you go to the end and turn left. On the other side of the cabins are the pull throughs. First row is good for TT and Class C and second row, we used are longer. Better for Class A. The father and sons I believe do the check in. Really nice guys. The father gave my husband a big bunch of bananas. The hotel was full and they had continental breakfast and lots of bananas left. We stayed 3 days. There are some stores in the area. They have what looks to be like nice cabins but I don't think they rent them out right now. Full service hookups worked great. We got a $5 discount from $35 to $30 for my husbands Vet card. They only give military discounts. I think the place needs some TLC for charging $35 a night. I would stay again if in the area but only a night or two. - Victoria Grace
Jun 2018 - $28.00
This property is the old Ashton Inn and RV Park. The new owner has put a lot of effort in sprucing up the Inn. It appears that he has upgraded the electrical problems of the RV park as well. At this point the park has everything that we need; level site, easy hook-ups, good water pressure, stable electricity. Would recommend this park to any self contained unit. There is grass between each unit, although it could use a cutting while we were here. Rural setting. Convenience store and gas station located close by. Easy in and out. Quiet! - Susan M
Jun 2018 - $28.00
There has been a change of ownership about 8 years ago. It is now called Eagle Park Lodge. The RV park looks to have the electrical boxes updated. We LOVE the park and its location. It is rustic and quiet! We can see cows and the Tetons! The lodge looks nice too although we didn't see the rooms. There is a gas station and convenience store close by. The co-owner let us pick our site. All hookups worked well. Leveling was easy. No wi-fi but ATT works well so we used a hot spot. There are no showers or bathrooms in the park from what I know. Perhaps they are available in the lodge. We are self-contained so I didn't look. We will definitely come back to this location. - Susan M
