Nice park around a community swimming lake and beach. A mix of pull-thru and back-in sites. Sites around outside on East side of park back up against limited access highway with a sound wall. No WiFi We camped at Jefferson County Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Scotty's True Value in Rigby (just off exit 320 on US 20) is an amazing store for hardware, ranch materials, etc., if they don't have it you don't need it! Sinclair station just south of round-about has a dump station, $5 Easy drive into Idaho Falls.

We camped at Jefferson County Lake for four days in order to use it as a central location for touring around Eastern Idaho. We are pleasantly surprised at how nice it really is. Some sites are better than others but still a great deal with level cement pads, water and 30/50 power. It is great for families with a great clean lake for swimming and many other activities for kids of all ages. No wifi but very good 4G Verizon. Off leash dog area as well. For me the only downside was no dump on site. There is a Sinclair gas station just 1 mile away with a dump $5.00. We would stay again when in the area. We camped at Jefferson County Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

We used this campground as an overnight stop while driving up through Idaho on I-15. Tree branches on inside of curved pull-thru made access with our large motorhome and tow car tight. We camped at Jefferson County Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice camp ground that is relatively new. An asphalt paved road loops around a small lake, with concrete pads spaced out along the perimeter. Each site is level, has water and 30 amp power, no sewer and no dump station. There are pit toilets and no showers. A fire pit and picnic table at each site. There is a one mile long walking / biking path around the lake. There are trees and separation for privacy. Both pull thru and back ins are available. The small lake was mostly empty, but in the process of filling. Camp hosts were a"no show". Did not even wave as we drove by. Check in person was friendly, but did not know anything about the camp ground. Road is easy to drive on and sites are easy to access. Recommended, would stay there again. We camped at Jefferson County Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a small local park in Rigby--has all cement slabs for trailer spotting. Mostly back-ins, several pull-thrus, all water/electric w/50+30amp. Very clean area, nice walking/bike trail around lake and park. Wasn't in use much as school still in session. No sewer, has forest service type toilets that were clean and odorless. We camped at Jefferson County Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Fantastic bargain. Exceptionally pretty park with nice big spaces around a lake. Well maintained, and very friendly and helpful customer service. The lake has a lot of day use activity, but the RV park is around the bend of the lake from that area. Not close to the interstate, but easy enough to drive to. Relatively quiet. No wifi, but verizon signal is strong and there are a few o/a tv channels. Only real negative is no dump on site. We camped at Jefferson County Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very pretty park. All the sites are arranged around a large lake. There is public, day-use swimming at the south end. The campground wraps around the other 3 sides. The single road thru the campground is a one-way, narrow in places. Most sites are back-ins of varying length. There are a few pull-thrus as well. Most sites are excellent, level concrete pads, long enough to park your toad and 4' wider than your rig. There is 50-amp service and water but no sewers or dump station. Staff is very nice, also accommodating when we requested a change of site. Avoid sites 35 and up if you don't like traffic noise. Sites 1-12 are very quiet. We appreciated the online reservation system. Go to the "Visit Campground Website". It shows you every available site and its position and reserving there only costs a dollar! Especially since when we called their phone number, no one answered and it said the mailbox was full. Prices are absurdly low - $15. Contrary to what the listing says, there is no pool. It is a lake. We camped at Jefferson County Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

I loved the walking path around the lake and the availablility of the camp hosts. They were so friendly and helpful. I even saw him helping fix one of the campers trucks. That's not service you get just anywhere. The lake was beautiful and walking around the park in the cool of the morning or evening was wonderful! The hosts were very conscientious of everyone's needs and I appreciated that. It was a wonderful stay! We camped at Jefferson County Lake Campground in a Tent.

The campground is around a small lake and most sites have concrete pads with water and elec. but no sewer or dump. We have stayed at BLM & NF campgrounds for over 30 years and this campground has the worst pit toilets we have ever seen. The showers are outside for the beach area and not for taking a bath. We camped at Jefferson County Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park with friendly staff. Very close to the freeway but we heard no road noise. Nice lake and grounds. There is no dump available at the park but there is one at Bob's Quick Stop very near the park. We camped at Jefferson County Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

The very friendly lady at entrance gate marked on a map which sites were available and suggested we drive around and see which would be to our liking. We chose a pull through site adjacent to the lake. Roads are in good shape but on most sites the gravel has deteriorated and there is more weeds than grass. Even so, we enjoyed and probably would return. Our site was level, the utilities worked well, and we had some shade. It is rather noisy on Sunday, but much quieter and enjoyable on Monday. Very nice 1.1 mile walking path around perimeter of park. Rigby is an interesting little town and worth a visit. We camped at Jefferson County Lake Campground in a Motorhome.
