Great little park next to a ragging river. Nice for sleeping. Very efficient and well kept. - CheerUp
Aug 2018 - $30.00
A little bit of paradise! We landed here by accident because all the RV parks were booked south of here because of the Huckleberry Festival. I wasn't sure what to expect, being that it was such a small campground and just "off the road", but figured I could put up with about anything for three days! What a surprise! What a beauty! We had a pull-thru that put us right alongside a lush swath of grass that was under a big, beautiful shade tree and all that edged over the Salmon River! We quickly set up, put our chairs out and sat ourselves down to enjoy this incredible scenery and sounds of the rushing river below us. A mere few feet away was stone steps leading down to the river below, so one could take their fishing pole or just walk on down to sit on the large rock and dangle your feet in the river and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! One of the owners came by, quietly, from time to time to move the water sprinkler and we engaged him in small talk. Such a nice guy. I wish we could have stayed there much, much longer...like I said, pure paradise! - MarieB

Basically a south to north one way through this park, unless you have a small camper. It was very nice to have full hookups along the small river adjacent to the RV sites. The location between the highway on one side and creek on the other does not allow much room to turn around within the park. We did have a little trouble making the turn at the south entrance, and had to unhook the tow car to be able to back up the MH so we could finish the turn into the park entrance. About a short 8% grade down into the park and into a a reserved pullthrough site that was recommended by a previous poster. Self registration and not much road noise from the highway which is located well above the park itself. Even had a family of mule deer come strolling by in the evening. We would stay again. - run2

We stayed here for 2 months while our home was being completed. The owners are amazing! The store is well stocked. Facilities are clean! I would highly recommend this wonderful park.
The owner has a honey pot service he does every Thursday and there is a dump site at entrance of Park. Gray water is used to water foliage. Perfect set up. - JoyceR

Pro - Park is situated in a beautiful canyon right next to the Little Salmon River. Park is easy to maneuver in with both pull-thru and back in sites. I was given a power, water, pull-thru site that was plenty big enough for my 42' 5th wheel. I was able to stay hooked to my truck for the night. The sites are gravel with grass and a picnic table. The office/store is very nice with all kinds of supplies you could need. They have many videos to rent if you desire. The wi-fi worked well and I used my satellite for TV. The laundry/bathrooms are clean and up to date. The owners are very accommodating and run a very nice clean park. Will come again for sure. Delta - No sewer connections, but there is a pump out station. My AT&T Iphone did not have phone service here. - Piperflyer 235
Aug 2018 - $32.00
Very clean and Owners were awesome! Beautiful area and right on the river. Very easy access to the dump stations at each end of park. - Gerrilynn Taylor
Jun 2018 - $27.00
Sites are on grass and fairly level with 30 amp service. Water pressure was horrible (I don't think a gallon jug could have been filled in a minutes time). My biggest complaint were dogs off leash and going anywhere they wanted. This included people who lived in a house by the dump station not just campers. Frankly this place is just not worth the money. We stayed here in a 40' motorhome. - illini777
Jun 2017 - $12.00
We stayed a week in a dry camping spot, parking on grass with a covered picnic table. Sites with electric service are a little more expensive and don't have tables. No shade (other than the picnic table). The dry camping spots are not marked off, but were not terribly packed in while we were there. Onsite dump and water available to campers. A stream runs adjacent to one edge of the property. The area is surrounded by tall pine covered mountains in all directions and is quite picturesque. - Big Murr
Jun 2017 - $12.00
About 12 spaces with 30 amp service and water at $22/night. One night stay about $12 without services. Natural hot springs pools with changing rooms about $8 per person (not included in camp fee). Grass sites with no tables. Not crowded. About half mile off of state highway 55 north of New Meadows. Well marked signage. - Boisenorthender
