Very clean and Owners were awesome! Beautiful area and right on the river. Very easy access to the dump stations at each end of park. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We're always looking for small properties with spacious sites - and Canyon Pines fits the bill. Add to that the mountains on both sides of you and the Little Salmon River in your back yard and you have the formula for a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Resort was virtually spotless, large grass spaces (well groomed) between sites, clean bathrooms and private showers, country store, easy level, pet friendly. No sewer on our site but we didn't mind a bit, there's a convenient, easy dump station for whenever. If you want to get away and clear your head you might consider this as one of your stops. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I can't say enough great things about this little park. I stayed for a week (plus a day, didn't want to leave) and was right on...I mean RIGHT on the Little Salmon River listening to the wonderful rushing of it. The owners are fantastic, the grounds are incredibly maintained, and facilities are clean as a whistle! The showers were especially terrific! The store has everything you could possibly need in a pinch (including wine and beer!), and it's a great jumping off point to visit all the great spots in the area. Don't miss the drive up the Salmon River! Rate was weekly, and worth every penny! We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

What a gem of an RV campground. Right on the Little Salmon River just outside Pollock, Idaho. 54 electric and water campsites with the cleanest restrooms we have ever found at a campground. There are 2 dump stations at the front with the hose already hooked up for your tank flush. Each site offers 30 and 50 amp connections with cable tv and phone. The park office/store has most items you need and offers great piping hot pizza delivered to your campsite. The store is also a US Post Office. We had an awesome stay and will come back here again. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Owners extremely helpful. Landscaped with great care; although no sewer hookup they offer to come to you to dump. Able to connect to their Wifi; no cell because we do not use the carrier of the area. Soothing sounds of the Little Salmon right beside site. Tremendous improvements since last time we had been there. Will definitely come back! Nice to be next to nature. Excellent place to stop for the night, highway noise does exist and hard to hear the river over it, beautiful site and helpful hosts. They are redoing the bank of the campground at the river's edge to improve the sites. I would recommend this as a stopover. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Owners are very nice and helpful but park did not meet our expectations. No sewer (proximity to river), gravel sites need to be graded better (excessive slope; could not level RV), poor wifi and this would not have been important except there is NO CELL SERVICE here (we have Verizon and AT&T) which means no outside communication if you need that. Laundry & bathrooms very clean and air conditioned which was located close to longer term campers. If you're looking for rustic (w/some road/hwy noise) this is good, but not for us. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This was a magnificent campground, tucked in a steep canyon along the Little Salmon River! We had one of the two pull-thru sites which provided us an incredible riverside view and access. The owners were wonderful. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here because it was near Hell's Canyon and the Salmon River gorge. We wanted a quiet place off the beaten path, but still with easy access. We were placed in a bacon right next to the Little Salmon river. The staff was exceptionally helpful upon our arrival, planning for day trips and throughout our stay. It's a small, very quiet park and the permanent residents are located at one end of the park. The internet was a little slow, but consistency up. There are no septic hookups because of it's proximity to the river, but there is a dump station at the entrance (201' from the river, I was told ;-) ). It was a most enjoyable stay. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great spot along Little Salmon River. Great owners. WiFi wasn't operable, but not parks fault, Frontier (provider), was very bad on servicing. Would stay again for sure. Beautiful, quiet (well the river is a tad noisy but if that's a problem don't travel). Great spot. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We had a very nice site which backed up to the river. Owners are very nice, bathroom and showers were clean and a nice size. We rated it at a 7 only because there was no shade and we had to stay inside since it was so hot. If we had shade we would have stayed longer. Great spot alone the little Salmon river. If river noise bothers you this is not the area for you. We camped in our MH facing the river. Sites are loose gravel with lawn between them Seems most people leave early for the fishing.

The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Really not mush in Riggins if your not into fishing and White Water.

It is a beautiful area though.

Park Cable TV was limited to 6 stations but our satellite worked fine.

Park WIFI very slow. No Cell phone Reception until your in Riggins.

You pay extra for 50 amp service. Our price included 50 amp. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground. A bit more "breathing room" and ability to navigate a large rig through the campground than the rv parks in Riggins itself. This campground is 9 miles S of Riggins. Phone service is limited and sketchy - they have an extender near their RV Store, but it kept dropping my calls (Verizon is my carrier.) Likewise, WiFi is sketchy. The owner is apparently working on the tech side of things to shore this up. The owners are new, and keep the place immaculate. I had a river front site - great location! We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
