Easy to get to, nicely spaced spots, great wi-fi, security makes regular patrols. Casino has very good buffet. Easy access to St Louis and all it has to offer. Nice view of the arch. Only drawback, and it was much more than most parks, was the constant and close by train traffic. All day and all night long. Even with the a/c fan running all night for white noise, it was intrusive. My wife is a heavy sleeper and it didn't bother her, but I am I am a light sleeper and it was too much for me. We've stayed here twice but I would try and find somewhere else next time. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park is unattended but security from the casino drives through multiple times during the day and night. Access code is required for entry which is sent by email before arrival but we had to call to get it as did other campers I talked to. It’s clean and well maintained and convenient to nearby attractions. There is no dog park but the entire property is bounded by a wide strip of grass and trees which gave our large dog plenty of area to explore. A heavily used train track and nearby highway generate some noise that may bother those sensitive to that. The Casino is across a parking lot and they’ll come get you if you desire but I’d skip the restaurants which are mediocre at best with slow but friendly service. The skyline of St Louis is your view and sunset over the Arch can be stunning. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

long asphalt which should be level, but not spot 519. Took 3 levelers just to get it somewhat level. Nice clean park with gate code to enter. Train track around back side of park, but not noticeable during night. Most casino RV parks are more reasonably priced. $50 seemed too high. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Very convenient campground for visiting St Louis which is just across the river from the campground. You can see the Arch from the campground. Campground is part of and adjacent to Casino Queen, a moderate sized casino (avoid the buffet!). Reservations are made on line and campground is unstaffed except for occasional security drive throughs. You get an email within your site number and security gate access code to enter. Roads are paved and wide, pads are level and paved. Space between sites is Ok width except it is gravel. There is no picnic table or fire ring, except in a common area. There is grass that borders the campground. All sites are pull throughs. The side of the campground for bigger rigs has no trees. Wifi was sporadic. The sewer connection is at the rear of the site requiring three hose lengths. There is no cable. Verizon cell signal is very weak. There is constant loud road and railroad noise. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

Campground is basically a big parking lot. About half the sites have a tree. Hookups are conveniently located and work as expected. Wifi works good for a campground. There was a cable jack at my site, but there is no cable service. It's located just over the river from the Gateway Arch NP. About 2 miles away. We didn't go into the casino. I would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here because it was close to kids living in the area. Very easy place to get to, very secure area. Went to casino last day here and had a blast . They have full hookups 20/30/50 amp service. Where we was parked, the free internet was weak and cell coverage was weak also. This could be where I was parked though. Over all was good place to stay. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This RV park is laid out on all asphalt and associated with the Casino Queen Hotel and Casino. There is no staff available at the RV park building; reservations must be made online and a 5-digit access code (sent via e-mail with confirmation) is required to enter. Sites are level and hookups are fine, but utilities are all to the back of the site. Extra water/sewer hoses needed. Security vans take you to the casino. This is a very large RV park close to downtown St. Louis. Sites well laid out with some shade and space between sites. The hookups were conveniently located at the site and worked well. The security guards will pick you up at your site and take you to the casino. Security guards patrol the park and a gate code is required to access the RV park, bathrooms and laundry. A free shuttle runs between the casino and St. Louis Cardinals and Blues games. The park was a little inconvenient to reach coming from the Southwest on I44 but worth it if you want to stay in a secure location close to the Arch and downtown. We would definitely stay here again. Great place to stay for a Cardinals game. Park your RV, take the shuttle and avoid the ridiculous cost of parking near the stadium.

We were a bit unsure about booking this spot as we had heard it wasn't in the best area. Sites are very basic and close together. There was a train in close proximity so if you're a light sleeper this may not be a great place for you. However, we found our experience to be absolutely fine. While we wouldn't recommend venturing off the beaten path in East ST. LOUIS, we felt perfectly safe at the Casino Queen. In fact, we saw security personnel in the park virtually every hour. The RV park is definitely no frills and has zero staff onsite. It was clean, easily accessible, and provided what we needed for our three night stay. As an added bonus a free round trip shuttle service is provided to all Cardinals home games! First things first, after making your reservation you will not have contact with another employee. All communication (including the gate code and your site #) will come via email. We had to assist several people who had difficulty getting in because they expected a live person to greet them. Also, there are 2 sides to the park; left side-VERY small shaded spots. Right side- larger, open spots. TONS TO DO AND SEE ACROSS THE RIVER! Overall, a good spot if only for a short stay. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice long concrete pads. Restrooms used codes but both my wife and I usually had trouble getting the restroom doors open for whatever reason. Great location for visiting downtown St. Louis and convenient to the interstate highway. Security guards were very helpful with advise about getting around. Tips for other Campers:

Rail station is nearby. Get off at first stop for the arch and there is another stop across the street from the baseball stadium. If you wave down a security guard they will give you a ride from the RV area to the casino or drop you off by the rail station.

We stayed for three nights. Pretty basic, no grass, no picnic table, strong WiFi. It's close to railroad tracks, so night noises seem pretty loud. Site was a tad unlevel, but doable. Getting to the campground from St. Louis was horrendous, thank goodness for our GPS. we did have nice neighbors. Seems to be a popular spot. Didn't go to the casino. We used this campground as a 1 night stop over on our way to Yellowstone NP. The site was a level, paved pull through that was long enough to leave my rig hooked together for the night. The campground is next door to a Casino. but is fenced and gated with a security patrol that makes a round once every 15 minutes or so. We felt very safe during our brief stay. It is located directly across the river from the St Louis Arch with made great backdrop for our brief stay (see attached photo). Note: Check-in is self service, they will send you a gate code get in the park 3 days prior to your arrival. Just remember check for the email prior to leaving home. Had to call the phone number 3 times. First time we were told we had to use web site. After using website, put card in it said we “timed out” - redo it. Well they charged our card for that one and the one we finally got to go through. We use to stay out in the parking lot by the semis, for free, and would spend a couple hundred in the casino. Not going into casino having to pay for parking and being ripped off for an extra night. Customer service was not helpful nor very concerned that this happened. But we can wait 5-7 days for a refund? Overall Rating:

I had a lot of apprehension before booking this park. The location, all the area road construction, safety. I worried for nothing, this place is a great base for exploring St Louis. If you are coming from the east just remember exit 2A is a LEFT EXIT. Also, ALL reservations MUST be made in advance as your confirmation email will contain the gate code. The arch view from our coach was amazing and ever changing. Early morning hidden in the clouds, fabulous sunsets and beautifully lite at night. Security watches over the park closely, and also gives shuttle rides to both the casino and metro. You are one metro stop from the arch, and an easy walk or ride to the most amazing view of both the arch and city from Malcolm Martin Memorial Park viewing platform. We arrived on a Saturday mid October and the park had maybe two dozen RV's. I had booked 617 on line but when we got here discovered it slanted too steep downhill which made our first step too high. A quick call to the casino and we changed to 607 which was super level and a better view. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Motorhome.
