Oct 2015 - $35.00
This park is closed for the season and will not reopen in 2016. The owners plan to remove the park facilities put the land up for sale. - 15243
Sep 2015 - $35.00
Convenient to I-70 or I-55 and very nice for a one night stopover. Friendly folks at check-in, clean facility. Very nice area and close to St Louis if one wanted to visit the city. - dodgedan
Sep 2015 - $35.00
This was just an overnight stop for us on our journey home. I'm not a fan of typical RV parks and prefer state or county parks even if you don't have all the amenities. For this reason, I just rated this site as "Satisfactory."
The sites all have full hookups but they are VERY close together. The sites are paved and many are pull through, which is convenient. The park appears well managed and clean.
The location is not walking distance to any restaurants or other services. - Ree Klein
May 2019 - $20.00
Bath facilities were recently upgraded. Some of the sites are concrete while others are gravel. Many of the sites are uneven. Grass needs to be mowed. Recent rains cause large ruts in areas were you need to back into site. Inexpensive but camp grounds needs attention. - Flyingbie
Aug 2017 - $20.00
Nice park with level sites on the far side of the runway. The restrooms were very prison like with the fixtures of stainless steel (no toilet seats). Make your reservations early as it fills up fast. Nice staging base for visiting the Saint Louis area. - boomerlee
Jul 2017 - $20.00
We stayed at 5 different fam camps on our PCS journey from the west coast to the east. Scott fam camp was by far the worst. It's almost embarrassing this is a military establishment. The showers/bath are not useable. The washer and dryer do not work, they run but do not clean clothes. Trash bins were always full, no wifi, unlevel spots, no sewer hook-ups. I know bugs are unavoidable but they seemed over the top here. A little spraying would help some. Some serious maintenance needs to be done and managed up to military standards. Scott is a beautiful base... their fam camp not so much. - Ranger18
Oct 2018 - $30.00
One night stay. The park is a gravel lot with full hookups, not much else. There is a laundromat, liquor store and a car/dog wash across the street, in addition to the hardware store. We used the green area behind the businesses to run our dog. Pretty quiet yet easy to access the interstate. Would only use as a stop over. - tfemaker
Sep 2018 - $28.00
About 15 pull thru sites in a gravel lot lined up on a road with a 20+ steel Dragon that breathes fire when you insert token. Laundry and pet wash (and liquor store) all across the street. Easy access to highway. Check in at hardware store...people were nice. Full hook ups and only a few other campers. Good overnight stop because not much else there. - Jitime40
May 2018 - $25.00
Everything in the previous review is correct. Wanted to add a few more details. The sites (except #8) are basically back-ins but you can pull-thru to your site by driving down to the end of the row and pulling thru an empty site. That way you will drive along the back side of the RV sites & then be able to pull-thru to your site. Electric was excellent with 50/30/20 amp connections. Nice hardware store (owners of the RV Park) across the street. Be sure to ask at the hardware store for some tokens to "feed the dragon" to get him to breathe fire! Very quiet & peaceful at night. No restrooms available. - TravelnSteve
