Stayed in a level pull thru site, Hook ups all worked but the sewer was a long ways toward the back of the site, had to buy an extra 20 ft sewer hose. Wifi was ok but no cable tv available. Pleasant place to stay for an overnight stop. Didn't hear any traffic noise. We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This KOA far exceeded expectations, not just for KOA but for ANY RV park/campground. Due to a motor vehicle accident, we had an immediate need to find a place, presumably for an extended period of time, to determine driveability of my tow vehicle and trailer. Called and reserved a space for 5 nights, with an option for 4 additional. Upon arrival, greeted by super friendly staff that I'd talked to on the phone. Very willing to work with us on getting a good site, presumably for a longer stay. Guided to our site, and helped in to a very nice, level full hookup site. The grounds of this KOA are immaculate, and the attention to detail by the maintenance staff is very evident. The sites are very well laid out, with a mixture of sites, from "premium" to tent sites. We were in the section for 30amp FHU. A dump station on site in addition to sewer available. There's also a nice pond and walking trail around the grounds. Upon determining that my tow vehicle was safe to drive, I went to the office and advised them I would not be needing to stay 5 or 9 days, and that would could depart the following morning. No Problems! They refunded the amount that I'd paid in advance. I can't say enough good things about the folks at this KOA and their willingness to help us out after the trauma of a vehicle wreck. I highly recommend this KOA and would stay there again in a heartbeat! We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Lovely KOA with lots of green grassy (freshly mowed) areas; looks like a park with adult trees and planted gardens of flowers and shrubs. The sites all have a fire ring and picnic table and some even have lovely patios. Definitely one of the prettiest KOA's we've ever camped at. Staff is very friendly at check-in and as well in showing you to your site. Very quiet park away from hustle and bustle of the city. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Neat and clean park just minutes from I-69, lots are well maintained, all (I think) full hookups, some are grass sites and some are gravel and a few are concrete pads/patios (which we had). Nice and quiet park, as the 'tight ship' would seem to discourage the noisy, partying crowd. They escort you to your site, will deliver firewood to your site, and also pick up your trash in the mornings. There is a nice nature trail around the perimeter of the park, there's a fishing pond and sand beach and another 'frog pond', and the property is very large. All but one of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, which is the only reason we didn't rate the campground a '10'. Don't know if he was just having a bad day, but wasn't welcoming at all. Other than that, we had a great visit! We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Mounds State Park is nearby, and is a nice park. Chesterfield (the nearest 'burg') has a Dollar General, Pizza King and Dairy Queen. Nearer the interstate, but close by, are more food options, truck stop, etc. The town of Anderson, and Anderson University, are about 10 mins away.

This is now a KOA park, staff was very helpful, there are yellow shirts everywhere so getting help is not a problem. Each site appears to have a fire ring and they were being used on our visit, so some smoke is in the air. The sites go from only grass to concrete slabs, you can pay extra to get the better site, or spend a bit less and get the grass. The restrooms are older but very clean. Many activities for the kids if you have them with you. We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This was one of the nicest campgrounds we've ever been to. Upon arrival, you're escorted to your site by a staff member on a golf cart that helps you get into your spot and set up. We had a pull thru so we didn't need much help but it was very nice gesture. They have curbside garbage pickup and also sprayed for mosquitoes at night. Staff was always close by and made their presence without being a bother either. We went with another group so it worked out well that our sights faced each other but, had we been by ourselves, I'm not sure I would have liked the pull thru setup. They have a nice pond that has a beach and swimming area. The dock for fishing had very unlevel, cracked concrete slab that almost didn't feel safe to be on but this might be my only complaint with the campground. The first bathhouse I used was nothing more than an outhouse, no lights and very hot and smelly, but I found a much nicer cleaner one not far from there that I used the rest of the weekend without complaint. There is a huge grass area perfect for flying kites, riding bikes or walking your pets, that we enjoyed. There was plenty for kids to do such as a hayride and bouncy pad that was on during daylight hours. They did not allow the use of outdoor rugs so on a wet weekend I could see this being a muddy mess. We would return here and plan to in the future. We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Owner was a bully loud and rude yelled at campers if he thought you did something wrong he would drive his golf cart real fast to yell at you. No planned activities to do no snack bar. Sites were close together when my awnings were out they almost touched the rv next to me. Stay away from this place if you want to have a good time. Lovely park a couple of miles off I-69 with outstanding staff. I called ahead to let them know I would arrive late - when we rolled in at 10pm, my package was on the door, an escort showed us to the site, and a couple other staff helped us get backed in. Bathrooms/showers are nice, and well placed in the park. There is no pool, but a large pond with designated swimming area and catch & release fishing. The staff told us how to get to the park. The road was quite narrow and tree-lined. Upon arrival, we were escorted to our site. There was mud but there had been a lot of rain. We were on the first pull thru site across from the playground which had a nice "front yard". Garbage service was curbside pickup. The utilities were placed ok but the sewer ran uphill. We didn't use any facilities and won't comment on them. The antenna picked up some channels but we couldn't get NBC or CBS at all. The wifi was decent. The grass was mowed while we were here. Two days after arrival a fifth wheel was placed beside us. This left about six to eight feet of space between us. The sites are difficult to get into because the sites are perpendicular to the street. The sign at the entrance asks RVers to take the windy narrow road when you leave, but Skyview Drive is a MUCH better way to enter and exit the park. I don't know if the community requests that RVers take the windy road, but we scraped against tree branches entering the park and it was unnecessary when there was a simpler, quicker, and potentially less costly way to enter the park. The park itself is ok. We might look elsewhere first, but would return if we couldn't find another park. We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is nice looking, and seemingly popular, campground. There is a lake/pond with a small beach, an inflatable jumping pad, playground, and roads safe enough for kids to ride bikes. One evening, they had a band that played a variety of different music that was entertaining. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. There are mature trees that are pretty, and in our site, did not interfere with our satellite. Water is treated, and it is very soft. Electric iffy - if we ran all 3 A/Cs eventually the breaker would trip. We haven't had any problem before or after running all 3. The sites are a mixed bag - long, short, level or not, concrete, or gravel and grass. Roads are narrow for maneuvering into certain sites, and there are many speed bumps. Verizon is all over the place anywhere from 1X to 3g to 4g with 1 bar. The WII FI never worked, ever. There are trains! They have rules, which are appreciated, but they are over the top. Let's just say that you better keep the pass they issue in the rear view mirror or the gestapo will find you. No matter that said pass may have been torn and was lying in the front dash until we had time to tape it. The biggest gripe was our site. It was in a low area and had a wooden deck on the passenger side. We could only open the bay doors about 1/3 of the way before hitting the deck. You had to sit down to get to any of the doors. We arrived on a Friday and asked immediately to be moved. The site they offered was very unlevel - the motorhome in the site had both front tires off the ground so we declined. On Monday when it cleared out, we tried again. Asked for a new site and said we didn't mind moving more than once. Even if we ended up back in the original site. No can do they said. But, they could do! We were there for 12 days and watched which sites were empty, and there was more than one for several days in a row. We don't get it. We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Motorhome.

A combination "Seasonal" Park with plenty of 'deck attached' RV's and Weekend Getaway Destination, this family owned park provides everything an RV Enthusiast might need. Featuring the cheapest Propane refill station in the county, Timberline Valley RV Resort provides the perfect stop for an overnight guest, Ball State Tailgater or season long visitor. For those with the desire to cast a line, the park boasts a well stocked fishing pond: complete with trophy sized large mouth bass. The spacious sites leave acres of landscaped grass between you and the neighbors, and the on-site staff frequently check in to ensure every moment of your stay meets or exceeds expectations. We certainly plan to revisit this park the next time we visit Muncie, Indiana! We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Motorhome.

Very nice and obviously committed ownership. Everything is ship shape and well cared for even now that their main season has ended. We were escorted to our site, a long, gravel-covered, 30-amp, full hook-up pull through. A nice touch was that our assigned site was not right next to others; the sites are pretty close together so if full, it could feel confined. All on-site services worked well and the wifi was great (unusual for a campground) and we had good Verizon cell service. The gravel landing area for our site was narrow and not level side-to-side so we were glad we had leveling blocks. Interior roads are paved with some gravel, the latter were quite narrow. This campground apparently has some happy seasonal users as many of the sites had camper-created improvements like patios and stairwells; I'm betting there is big fun here during the camping season. We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We passed the road to the campground, but able to get there from the next turn, although it was tight coming through (where the tuxedo shop is). It looks like you're going through a neighborhood and the signage isn't great until you're on top of the campground. The owner was super nice and escorted us to our site. Seemed to be lots to do there during warm season, but we didn't do anything in our brief overnight stay. Everyone decorated for Halloween! We'd come back if ever in the area again.
