We stayed in the fall when no activities were planned. Park nearly empty so the fact that sites were extremely narrow didn't make a difference. They were sufficiently deep enough. Good water pressure and 50 amp electricity. Friendly and helpful manager. Okay for overnight stay but quite rustic. We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nearby town of Nashville is very touristy (Think Gatlinburg). Crafters and lots of shops. Roads in and out of area has lots of curves and hills.

Camped for the Beanblossom Blues fest so it was packed with RV's. Shower house was new and very nice. Laundry facilities and very nice restrooms. While we didn't have the promised firepit or picnic table, people on golf carts were checking to see what we needed and brought us a firepit. We had to share the site with a permanent trailer but the resident was gone for the weekend so it was fine. I'd stay here again. We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Attended the Bill Monroe Bluegrass festival for the entire week - wonderful music, the sound people did a great job. The food vendors were good. The following is a review of the campground: Camped in a 35" motorhome. We are self-contained so cannot comment on restrooms/shower facilities. Stayed in site #176 - Electric and water Pros: Convenient if you are there for a music festival if you camp in the area near the pond; otherwise, it's quite a distance to the music stage. Verizon worked great. Site was pretty level, packed gravel Cons: Sites very narrow, deep but narrow. Our awning would have touched the next RV so we didn't use it. Very dusty, many golf carts being used, that and the traffic created lots of dust. They watered the road but it still was dusty. Noise level caused by the amount of traffic and golf carts. We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

If it weren't for their music festivals I don't know how this place stays in business. Wind blowing trash around & trash in the burn pits, rude staff and the park in poor condition. No shut offs or breakers on the power pedestals, potential electrical hazard. For what is offered the 33.17 is excessive. Typical commercial campground sights too close and most likely would not pass state fire marshal code. We stayed here in an RV and won't be back. We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a music festival and the campground was very crowded. We came for the music, so of course it is convenient to stay in the campground during the festival. The restrooms near the back of the campground were open on Fri and Sat but smelled horrible. The restrooms near the stage were open and in much better shape. The showers are open from 7-10 am and pm, so if not there by 10 am would have to wait unit after the music starts to get a shower. We loved the music and friends we gather with each year, so will be going again next year. I'm not sure I would stay here otherwise. We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Spooky park. Thought we were on a empty drive in theater lot. Would not stay here again. In fact, we left after the first night. Stayed in the fall and there was no one around. All but one restroom closed. Would not recommend during off season for sure. We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Old park. At this time of year, no problem getting a site. Roads fair, narrow, hilly and dirt. Park is large. Sites old gravel, unlevel but spacious. Everything looks old and worn. Staff gives appearance of unconcerned. Good electric and water pressure. Mediocre. Alright for an overnight, close to Nashville Indiana. We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Had great time here for a music festival and plan to go back. It is a quiet campground with limited playground and amusement facilities. There is a camp store and museum attached to the campground. A grocery store practically across the highway. The restrooms and showers are trailers that have been built for this purpose. The staff were very friendly and supportive. Nashville, IN is about 5 miles south of this park and a nice tourist town, shopping, art, live theater, and restaurants. Brown County state park is just south of Nashville. We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Tent.

Stayed there during a music weekend. Nice park. We go every year. The cabins are nice too. They recently upgraded their playground so the kids really enjoyed that. Not many kids activities but that is the sponors fault, not the campgrounds. Bathrooms were semi trailers. They were fairly clean but not as "modern" as I'd like and they don't always work as they should. Nice park to have a golf cart. We will be staying there again. I must say that we pulled in and pulled right out! We lost $70 altogether, but it was worth it. We couldn't make it to the state park any quicker. What a dump! The playground looked like it was falling down. The site we were going to have was right underneath some huge electrical power lines and there was space available for tent campers to sleep within 20 feet behind our site! Then the electrical hook up was in the very front of the site and the water was in the very back of the site. There was some crazy man chopping up firewood with his chainsaw (must have been his seasonal site) and a food stand that advertised their "10' long sausage." Oh and there was no way to move to another site because at 5:30 p.m. the only person available to talk to was the campground host. He himself couldn't even get hold of management to get us another site. And I must mention that on our site we had no picnic table and no fire pit. They may have a nice bluegrass festival, but as for camping, their grounds were run down and it was an all around dump! Go to Brown County State Park if you want to go to Nashville! We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stay every year only during the Bluegrass Festival in June. I would never think of camping here any other time. Even thought the new owners have done a lot of the work on the place it is still not a place I would recommend for camping. During the Bluegrass Festivals the park is always overbooked and the electric voltage is low. Last summer they put in new 50 amp electric, but I don't know if it is in for all of the sites. The restrooms and showers are made out of semi truck trailers, something portable like at a fair. The drive into the park is very steep and you have to be very careful when pulling in or you will drag. Most of the lots are not level so you will need boards. They raise the rates every year to where they are now higher than most RV Resorts. The Bluegrass Museum is great. The only reason I keep coming back is for the Bluegrass. We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

There are 400 primitive sites too. There were people camping with their horses when we were there. Fire pits. Flea Market April - October. Store. Cabin Rentals. Bluegrass Hall of Fame and Country Star Museum. Music festivals June - October. We lucked upon a Bluegrass Festival when we were there and it was included in the camping fee. The park is only 5 miles from Nashville and the many shops and art stores. Quiet. We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
