Overall Rating:

This was an emergency, last-minute stay; we had to relocate from our planned Champaign-area RV park due to severe weather. So we arrived after dark at 9:00p. The KOA staff had sent us a text giving us our site number. Pulling into the driveway, our 40-foot 5er bottomed out on the steep incline transition. (We bottomed out on the way out the next day as well, even taking the transition kind of sideways.) With no idea where we were going, and very little lighting in the park, we did find our pull-through site, but pulled in backwards. Water and electric on the wrong side. This is a fairly tight park, and heavily wooded (probably a big plus in the heat of summer) but not what we wanted to try to navigate at dark. So we just parked it the wrong way. Signage was not helpful here. We left early the next morning at 9:00, before the office was open, so we had no interaction with any staff during our 12-hour stay. It's a good thing the park was mostly empty; it would have been hard getting out in the morning if the neighboring sites had been occupied. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites were tight. We had a pull through with just enough room for truck and RV. The sewer connection was about 6" above ground level. The WiFi was adequate. The water pressure was good. The staff was friendly and courteous. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here as an overnight on our trip. Old park with less than appealing entrance. Very tight sites and roads. No cable. Sites are not level. Park needs a lot of attention. It did fill up with overnight stayers. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Fairly typical KOA with a bit of a rough edge. Folks at check-in were very friendly and accommodating. We had our choice of sites as the campground was fairly empty. Our site was level but looked like it could use a bit of gravel. Easy to navigate the campground but there was a dip in the road on exit that we were concerned about. No problems though. As this was just an overnight it was sufficient and we had enough OTA tv channels to keep us entertained. No cable at the campground as the provider had pulled the plug...so to say. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We paid a monthly rate of $500 for 50A FHU. All pull-throughs, lots of trees so no satellite but lots of shade. Nice pool. Gets pretty wet after rains. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Check in was quick and easy. We were given a choice of sites to choose from. Our site was not level but not enough to create any issues. It was obvious it had rained a lot prior to our arrival because of the muddy ruts folks had left driving through the grass on the edge of the gravel pad. We had no issues getting in or out. Wifi was unusable, Verizon signal was ok. Park seemed to be well maintained. Large grass areas for our dog to run in. We did not see very many sites where a Sat dish would get a signal. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

While clean this KOA is what KOA's are all too often, overpriced.

The campground was designed before RVs had many slides and were shorter. This made maneuvering tight.

I doubt we would ever stay here again. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here for one night while driving west on 74. Very convenient. No cable TV at "full" hookups. We didn't care, but price is a bit much otherwise. Nice playground. Grounds very clean. Took off a star because of full volume, profanity laced fight between employees easily heard through the campground. Site was spacious and lovely. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Love the place, really like everyone who I've met there. It's a very nice campground, but it is pretty tight. We've stayed 4 times now and each time we have a slightly larger trailer than the last. At 40 feet we're getting too long. Lots of short turning radius intersections and low hanging branches. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Very shady campground. Billed as ‘big rig friendly,’ but pretty tight roads, turning radius. Sites and roads need some gravel, many of the sites not very level. Restrooms were very clean, pool looked nice. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

For the midwest, I thought this was a good park. It is nicely shaded with large trees and there are flower gardens throughout the park. Grounds were clean and neat, as were the restrooms. It is tight, however, and you have to be careful in making turns and watching for overhead limbs. People in a huge motorhome could not get into the site next to us and we (w/a 28 foot 5'er) could barely get into ours. Wi-Fi is a joke here. The only place I could get it was in the laundry room with the door to the Main Office open. I don't think they have any external aerials for Wi-Fi, although they claim there are 4 on each side of the building. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We camped here for 2 nights and overall, it was a good stop over point for a long trip. It was quiet for the most part and we rested well. Two problems we had were with the WIFI and pool. The WIFI did not work despite claims by the owner that it did. I had to go into town at the Applebee's where I connected with no problem. The pool was closed at 3 pm for some treatment issues. It was closed for the rest of the day and evening. This did not go over well with my 9 year old daughter nor her mother on this 95 degree day. This campground was good overall but fell short in two key areas for us, making the experience marginal. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We were placed next to some long time guests and their sites left much to be desired. Also our site had the sewer hook-up in dirt as if it had just been added. Condition of the entire campground was not up to our standards. Stayed only one night. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
